Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam Thanks Becca. I got around the problem, as kept switching to SD but it kept throwing up barriers to entry. Monday morning is not when am focusing on TV viewing so any replies will do later.
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam Previously on many many many occasions, Carole, Jason and many others have told me if there is an issue at source without knowing about my equipment. I'm on Sky Q. I'm not reporting subtitle issues again as it stresses me out repeating the whole, wasteful time consuming process.
-
Jon Grey (@Greyteach) reported from Mevagissey, EnglandNo browdband service in Mevagissey, Cornwall either @SkyHelpTeam #skybroadband #WFH
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam Thank you Carol, that is great. As feedback, if a subtitle issue is reported to check at source across all equipment before asking questions. I've been asked so many different questions when I report subtitle issues, when this could be a 3 message conversation not 4 hours to sort
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, EnglandPity @SkyUK has decided to bury information about what new films have come out on Sky Cinema. I will be cancelling. This after no price reduction and over half reduction in new premieres. Bad customer UX.
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam where are new Sky Premieres listed now, then? As someone paying for a service, it is annoying that they aren't labelled, more than halved, no price drop, no heads up and now they're muddled in with old films (Liar Liar) so it takes time to even find new premieres.
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam Please check if it's working at your end before asking me irrelevant questions. Are subtitles on this film working at source? I report subtitles issues often and it ALWAYS turns out I'm reporting a blip so please respect my time and just answer my question.
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam Oh no. Thank you for the warnings. However, I was having this issue with Series 1, which I am rewatching before series 2. It seems as if I have to do a huge route around for each episode. Surely the decision to watch is with viewers to decide what themes are sensitive?
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam OK, then I'm not reporting subtitle issues anymore. If you don't appreciate customers reporting issues enough to check if it is at source, I'm not spending whole evenings on Twitter troubleshooting when I know what to do if it's my end but more often than not it's at source.
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam Hi Stephanie, thanks for letting me know there aren't issues at your end. Is the program still available to re-download? I recorded it but need to delete and re-download.
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam Sorry, I haven't heard this angle before and have reported subtitle problems for years! Usually they are at source so relate to all sky equipment.
-
Wayne brown (@spabrown) reported from Bodmin, England@SkyHelpTeam is there a broadband issue in my area, reset my box and still not connecting to internet
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam Had you checked this issue was fixed and then suggested I deleted and downloaded again it would have saved me time and stress. The ability to see this from a customer perspective helps instead of entitlement. Asking format and episode for a film was irrelevant and disrespectful.
-
Nigel K (@NDK72) reported from Falmouth, EnglandHey @SkyHelpTeam is there a problem with TV at the moment? Can’t get any channels. We’re in the TR11 Falmouth Cornwall area. Broadband, Netflix etc working still though.
-

Very Grumpy Girdle🇪🇺🏴🇫🇷 (@TanyaAGT) reported from Grampound, England@Raphaelite_Girl @GadgetInvestor @SkyUK Charge ridiculous amount, don't make any programs, get huge money in from ads, then spend nothing on customer service
-
Matt Thomas (@DuchyOvenClean) reported from St Mewan, England@SkyHelpTeam it appears that broadband is down again. We have all 3 green lights on our hub but no wifi connection. Also heard from others around #Cornwall that theirs is down too.
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, EnglandThe #subtitles are far out of synch on The Paper Tigers @SkyHelpTeam I notice a silence about more than halving the #SkyCinema service also.
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@SkyHelpTeam You're sorry I take issue? Take some responsibility please. How rude. I provided information that Playing God is a film on Sky Cinema, see the thread, which I watched in HD and Tony asked which episode it was. A week before Jason replied to thank me for reporting the issue.
-
mark (@cornishsportG) reported from Flushing, England@SkyHelpTeam charging a 20 year customer who is on furlough in a global pandemic and can't afford it 60 quid to cancel sky sports off the contract is a pretty terrible thing to isn't it . What a lovely company you are .

(tez7n2) (@MickeyDN7) reportedHey @virginmedia and @SkySports do you want to give people a heads up about this weekend RED button matches not ******* working again while taking millions of pounds out of people's bank accounts for ******* **** service ? #Virgin #RedButton #Football
-
Rob (@robhall372) reported@SkySports Biggest fraud in football in my opinion. He won't last a season. Players will want to leave. Never seen a city side so poor in defence and midfield. Harland had no service.
-
Colin Morty (@cmwba) reported@SkyFootball @SkySports @virginmedia no apology for the technicsl issues with red button matches today? How many seasons have subscribers had to put up these issues. Not good enough.
-
MinistryOfMutter (@mutter57956) reported@SkySports After years of defending male-bodied fighters in the women’s category as “progress,” you’re now using an actual woman like Katie Taylor to sell the sport. The sudden interest in biological females is pure hypocrisy. Women’s boxing never needed men to be legitimate.
-
LolaElise (@LoEl81) reportedTrying to watch the Cincinnati Open on @SkySports Problem is, you can’t see the ball half the time because of the colour of the courts.
-
Wes Bez (@WesBez) reportedWe have already seen the stuttering and we have not even seen kickoff. More sound issues too!!! @SkySports @NOW
