Atrocious coverage of #SolheimCup on @SkySports We are seeing a minority of the shots. And mostly time delayed. Really poor.

@SkySports Watched it numerous times. Wrong decision was never going to fall in. Don't concede any putts from now on. The USA team should have conceded next hole to show some true sportswomanship as they must know that they should never have won that hole 🤨.

@SkySports The ball was not overhanging & was never going to fall in. In the spirit of the game the Americans should not have accepted that decision or simply just conceded the next hole. To pass the buck back at the official is a cop out. Very poor sportsmanship.

@SkySports Absolutely not! Nelly Korda knew it wouldn’t have dropped (great putt mind you), more disappointingly I’m sure Pat Hurst or whichever assistant was following game knew. Referee has given #TeamUSA a free shot. I thought we needed to speed the game up? Terrible from @LPGA officials

Geraldine Carey
(@CareyGercarey) reported
@BarryBartley3 @spencer_sj @SkySports They were also just about to be put on the clock. Maybe that influenced it? Because it was never going in so she shouldn't have rushed to get it.

@Blues1871 @SkySports Putts are often conceded and picked up within 10 seconds. Are you saying a ball a foot away shouldn’t be picked up within 10 seconds? That ball might as well have been a foot away as it was never going to drop.

@SkySports Shockingly bad decision. I lost some respect for Dottie for proceeding to say it was “hanging” over the lip… no it wasn’t! As Catriona said, you could in theory call this on any concession within 10 seconds. Poor
