@jdc88 @SkySports Very often they are dropped or demoted to the championship where they continue to make their poor decisions there. It’s more than annoying because we’ve already got enough incompetent refs in the EFL so why do the authorities think it’s ok to allow this practice to continue

@SkySports Almost as bad as his penalties

@SkySports Agree. I wouldn’t like their job and appreciate it is a very difficult one but there must be consequences for poor performance. A player would be dropped if he repeatedly played poorly. Why isn’t it the same for referees?

@SkySports What’s the point and why is the referee and VAR officials not punished? Because their bad decisions can get a team relegated or loss and then card is receded without any punishment to officials.

@best07_legend @wellhyper @SkySports VAR is being used wrong (it's for clear and obvious errors) not drawing lines on screens for offside But suggesting ref should have a look at it and HIM deciding to issue a red isn't a VAR failing. It's a substandard referee making a horrendous decision

@SkySports We should have some sort of pitch side review for terrible decisions like this in games, it would only take 10 seconds to look at it and see it wasn’t a red.
