Different leagues need to offer different things. the generation growing up and the new base of the pyramid will need cajoling into it as time is so important to them. I think playing on shit grass pitches is damaging too. The pros play on shirt fronts so should kids.

Harry's view was great idea but this will increase participation in the short term but reduce active involvement. Better to play 30 overs bowling 15 overs from each end. Or two innings of 15 with 10wkts each innings. Increased cricket but same time

    @SkyUK internet has been down since Friday. Did all the online checks and was told an engineer was required. Rcvd no email/call to confirm when this will be since Friday. Online it stated it would be resolved by 20th.

    @SkyHelpTeam I HAVE kept previous number. That’s definitely the line in use. It’s also the number registered in my Apple ID info on phone. HOWEVER, it’s not the number appearing on people’s phones when I text them. Bizarre. Your link won’t help as it’s about keeping old number. I’ve done that

    @SkyUK @SkyHelpTeam Terrible customer service. Trying to cancel father-in-laws Sky TV, on phone for half an hour enduring hard sell tactics. Thank God he had me to talk on his behalf, feel sorry for elderly and vulnerable who have no one to help them. Disgusting.

    @virginmedia I did - no help there. Was sent to the customer service team, then technical team, now waiting for the customer service team again. I just need to know how long I have left in the contract before @SkyUK can buy me out.
