If Sky Q boxes (& mini boxes) act as boosters for Wi-fi, does using Ethernet cables in the back of these to connect Sonos etc take less strain off the Wi-fi signal (it’s not using its own Wi-fi?) does anyone know please? My internet is a nightmare @SkyHelpTeam #skybroadband

@SkyUK since I upgraded to a faster broadband it’s been terrible. It keeps dropping out. Ridiculous if trying to work from home. Will be pleased when my contract it up!

@SkyHelpTeam I’m very disappointed in the detail of updates throughout today. ‘There’s an outage in your area, we’re working on it and it usually takes a couple of hours to fix things like this’ 9 hours later...nothing!! No further detail on why the broadband is down, it’s beyond a joke

@WarpTubes @SkyHelpTeam Yes I want a router with QOS settings, it’s funny I had to block Snapchat as I noticed every time my sister sent stuff to her friends my ping would spike to 300 and constant packet loss. In the end had to block snapchat only work around. I think a QOS setting would help tbh.

@SkyHelpTeam Unfortunately this seems to be a popular problem at the moment and has been since March. Having been one of many having to work from home (and for the nhs) my internet has been very patchy - add in 2 laptops for homeschooling it was fun!!!! Now at Christmas where we rely on it.
