Any one know how much these @SkyUK new Glass TV's will cost no dish or ariel required anymore, I always thought this would happen, basically the same as landlines are going to go. Everything will come down your 5G signal and wires etc will be things of the past. #technologytrends

@djstallard @SkyUK It’s usually the router that’s the problem, not the service. The routers you get from providers are notoriously bad. Swap it out for an ASUS router and you’ll notice a much stronger connection on all devices

@SkyUK It’s not a bad looking telly, but it’s a very expensive telly, which I don’t need as I have a perfectly good one already. Also, what happens to the telly once your Sky subscription ends, is it just an ornament?

  • thedevilstuna thedevilstuna (@thedevilstuna) reported

@SkyUK So does that mean if my internet goes down I can't watch the TV or record programmes?

  • LukeFlux1 Luke Flux 🏳️‍🌈 (@LukeFlux1) reported

@SkyUK So is it a straight up streaming service tv that requires internet at all time or can it be used as a regular sky box even if your internet drops out?

@geordiedentist I have been hearing on the radio and skysports about Saudis human rights issues. I suggest those with such issues refrain from accessing, attending or purchasing such things that Saudi Arabia have investments in! Otherwise jog on.

@shanethegooner @LukeFlux1 @SkyUK Well that is not good, don't have an aerial anymore, in a crap reception area hence I have sky

@SkyUK As our current gas shortage is because we've closed down coal and there's hardly any wind I'd say get rid of them all. It's medieval technology.

  • shanethegooner Shane Ó Dubhuir (@shanethegooner) reported

@LukeFlux1 @SkyUK Nope, it's just like any other streaming service.
