@Louise_Lamb @TalkTalk Had this same issue with them. 3 months of paying for basically no internet, I had to use my phone data when I had to work from home. Absolute dog shit.Quick tip tho, they have a policy that after 28 days of reporting a problem and it not being solved, you can leave without gees.

@m0khr @TalkTalk If you are using WSJT-X then there is a 'Use TCP connection' option on the reporting dialog that was added to get around this sort of issue. Can't help with NTP though.

@TalkTalk There is a message on our account saying the router needs updating and I'm guessing its firmware related, but there are no resources to help us. I can't get onto any of my schoolwork or do anything that requires connecting to an external server. So update my firmware.

@geofinns @RobAHoyle1 @fesshole If you have more than 7 hops your service will be crap, you can show this info to your provider and ask them to improve it. If 28 days pass with no improvement, you can walk away. In my case Talktalk had 28 hops, EE had 5.
