Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Susan ππ€π (@HoneybourneFarm) reported@theospreyuk @Shiv_who_burns It's such a pain! Finally managed to speak to an "expert" at Talktalk. They said only way is to cancel current broadband only contract, and give me a new broadband only contract, which sounds wrong. At this rate I shall probably cancel both landline and broadband and use mobile!
-
NUV (@NUVfilms) reported@TalkTalk & @WeAreOpenreach Iβve been left without internet for almost 48hrs. The issue is unknown, the internet randomly stopped working and Iβve been informed an engineer is on their way. I live in central London, not sure why itβs taking so long. Pls send help!
-
Dave O (@llqdave) reported@TalkTalk Sindy, why do you think that would help? Who would you refer me to, other than the customer service department that is ignoring me? #Talktalk lie by email. And then lie about the lies. They have no idea how the billing system works. If they phone you, they just talk over you.
-
Mary Holmes (@maryholmes61) reported@TalkTalk what is happening with the email service? I can't log in! And who is Everymail?
-
Angela (@angelajazz2) reported@TalkTalk Facebook. Was referred to the support on the website and an agent who left me there for 45mins
-
Mark (@MarkSkelli27583) reportedUpgraded Talktalk my contract ended no problem re signed nothing but trouble why
-
Catherine Arthur (@CatArthurian) reportedUpdate... They want my 82 yr old mum to send a speed test result by connecting the computer (upstairs) to the router (downstairs) via ethernet cable (which they don't have). π€¨ I explained that they won't be able to do that - they don't have a laptop, and it's not practical to unplug their pc and relocate it next to the router - they just can't physically do it. TalkTalk were not interested and insist it's the only way they can check if they are not receiving the correct speeds β although they did tell me during my first call that they could see the speed was only 12mbps...π€ They will send an ethernet cable by post anyway, or could send someone out to do it β Β£150 call out fee. Never mind. Contract ends in October and won't be renewed... Nice service for the elderly, what?
-
Kris Cooper (@KJCoop77) reported@TalkTalk Iβll DM but doubt itβll make a difference youβv ignored every letter, phone call & email, Iβve cancelled the acc many times by every method, for some reason, unknown to us, you just wonβt cancel it. You continue to steal money from our bank acc. Itβs been 16 months & you know it
-
Melvyn Malloch (@melvynmalloch) reported@virginmedia connected to your network yet they worked perfectly with @TalkTalk without any issues. It's so frustrating
-
Lewboy (@dbboy29) reported@TalkTalk Well hello, one for the Management Team to take on board, but a bit late now you've done the damage. There is a saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", clearly one they have not recently thought about. 3:45
