@NART1 @TalkTalk @MartinSLewis @BBCWatchdog I’d tweet, write and email your request to cancel so you have a written record of your attempts, as well as keep calling. Then write to Ofcom the ombudsman who will be able to assist if they won’t comply or refund you. Good luck 🤞

Had some of the worst service from @ScottishPower in recent days. Changeover from @TalkTalk now into day 3, and still no broadband. Not good enough. As a result, we are very far behind in our work. Completely unacceptable levels of service.

@TalkTalk It’s super slow, can’t watch anything on Netflix etc because it’s so pixelated and keeps buffering, have to use our phone data at home. We’ve restarted it so many times but it’s still happening

And the award for the quickest failure in connectivity goes to @TalkTalk internet is down after about a week of being with them… customer service said they’d send a new router which could arrive in 5 days. They also said “we will see what we can do about a partial refund” 😡

@TalkTalk my internet has been down since last night and the best they can offer is an engineer appointment on the 17th November. They won't send me a new router because "the system won't allow" so I have had to buy a new router to see if that works in the meantime. Awful.

@YardleyShooting @TalkTalk Yes TT are bad - but most service providers are as bad as each other. If a good one ever emerges, they quickly get swamped and dragged down.

@TalkTalk No, we had a contract with you. You were useless! Service never worked, you cut our service ever time before the bill was due, trying to call you up was impossible never again. At least Sky actually value us.

@YardleyShooting @TalkTalk All internet service providers are the same. I would go far as to say any provider of any “service” is the same. Welcome to call centre dystopia. Welcome also to fixed price contracts that are not fixed price contracts - how do they legally get away with that too?

Just been told by @TallkTalk & I'm not kidding that the engineers were sent to fix the issue on my account but & I quote: "they didn't have the right tools". What a company! My internet has been continually failing since last week. Just getting through to TalkTalk is a nightmare.
