Had some of the worst service from @ScottishPower in recent days. Changeover from @TalkTalk now into day 3, and still no broadband. Not good enough. As a result, we are very far behind in our work. Completely unacceptable levels of service.

@NART1 @TalkTalk @MartinSLewis @BBCWatchdog I’d tweet, write and email your request to cancel so you have a written record of your attempts, as well as keep calling. Then write to Ofcom the ombudsman who will be able to assist if they won’t comply or refund you. Good luck 🤞

@TalkTalk It’s super slow, can’t watch anything on Netflix etc because it’s so pixelated and keeps buffering, have to use our phone data at home. We’ve restarted it so many times but it’s still happening

@TalkTalk Nope, green ones just keep flashing over the internet and wireless ones. I've also already tried resetting the router etc. Just a terrible, unreliable connection.

@TalkTalk worst service ever. Phone line dead again. If its not a problem with broadband speed then it's an issue with the line. When you go on the website they don't make it easy to get hold customer service.. So frustrating. I regret signing into 18month contract. Get it sorted

@JeanSmith551952 @TalkTalk Real issue here is one of competition. There isn't any. We have 3 players at present delivering broadband by landline Sky, BT(Plusnet) and TalkTalk. All are awful and we have a regulator that has not ensured that entry into this market is possible for smaller players.

@JeanSmith551952 @TalkTalk There's two issues there: download speed (34 to 54 Mbps) and buffering. If the stream is buffering and assuming the stream is a modest 5 Mbps HD video stream then the congestion is not on your local broadband connection but the TalkTalk network.

So have been in conversation with @TalkTalk fot 3.5 hrs complaining about their service. What you pay for and what you receive are poles apart. But their response was 'hopefully we can fix it in 30 days" and also admitting that their service is substandard. Joke! #tinpot
