Phil Tonks (@PhilTonks2) reported from Dudley, England@alexfenlon @TalkTalk @virginmedia If they mess me about, I'll simply move. I was lied to, ignored and never resolved with @TalkTalk - and they have the cheek to send me rubbish about how they "miss" me. Try doing anything with 0.3mbs.
-
Nick Procter (@nickprocter27) reported from Birmingham, England@carriemunky79 @TalkTalk @BT @SkyUK Been with them nearly a year for TV and Internet. Not a single issue with the service in that time, engineers were great when they fitted everything and billing is exactly the same every month. No surprises.
-

-

J O S H U A (@joshfoliee) reported from Birmingham, EnglandHi @bt_uk it has now been 6 weeks since I moved in to my new property. My broadband & TV provider is @TalkTalk on moving in we discovered that there was no line coming in to the property and that it was a BT Openreach issue. 6 weeks later I’m still without internet. Disgusting 🗑
-
Eve (@eveashwell) reported from Penkridge, England@NART1 @TalkTalk @MartinSLewis @BBCWatchdog I’d tweet, write and email your request to cancel so you have a written record of your attempts, as well as keep calling. Then write to Ofcom the ombudsman who will be able to assist if they won’t comply or refund you. Good luck 🤞
-
Toby Joyce (@TheRealTobobo) reported from Birmingham, England@TalkTalk what is the point of having a chat function on your app if a customer doesn’t get any response at all. Also what is the point of an engineer coming a replacing wires only for the average broadband speed to plummet to an average of less 10Mbs!
-
Ash❗️ (@A_J_92) reported from Birmingham, England@georgiaahale @giffgaff @TalkTalk @ThreeUK Yes most definitely. I feel your pain with those idiots. I made a complaint to the CEO ended up just having to pay a cancellation charge of 60.00 instead of 200+ as I still had a while left on my contract.
-
Phil Tonks (@PhilTonks2) reported from Dudley, England@TalkTalk Oh Gawd. I remember these tweets very well. As I said previously, I'm long gone from TalkTalk. But I lost track of how many times I had tweets like this. And you never did sort it. So I left. I'm afraid your "customer care" is non-existent.
-
Mademoiselle LeVell Comedy (@M_elleLeVell) reported from Birmingham, EnglandHi @TalkTalk, I’ve had an ongoing issue with my youview box since January. It doesn’t record and I can’t play anything back that I did record ages ago, but they still appear on the screen. Can we sort this now please? Thanks.
-
Rachele (@_Rachele_) reported from Birmingham, EnglandI swear - our @TalkTalk WiFi goes down every other month. I go through the hassle of the check on the website. They say we need an engineer. And then it fixes itself within an hour. Bored of having to do this now.

Deelo (@DeeloOfficial) reported@TalkTalkBiz Hi, I’m a Utility Warehouse broadband customer. Since switching from Vodafone, my PS5 has had severe online gaming lag. Could this be due to latency or routing on the TalkTalk Wholesale network? Any advice would be appreciated.
-
Kerrie (@WF2K_) reported@TalkTalk I know because I've been told exactly that by your team and I never said I was frustrated? So I'm not sure why you assumed that.
-
Kris Cooper (@KJCoop77) reported@TalkTalk I’ll DM but doubt it’ll make a difference you’v ignored every letter, phone call & email, I’ve cancelled the acc many times by every method, for some reason, unknown to us, you just won’t cancel it. -
Catherine Arthur (@CatArthurian) reportedUpdate... They want my 82 yr old mum to send a speed test result by connecting the computer (upstairs) to the router (downstairs) via ethernet cable (which they don't have). 🤨 I explained that they won't be able to do that - they don't have a laptop, and it's not practical to unplug their pc and relocate it next to the router - they just can't physically do it. TalkTalk were not interested and insist it's the only way they can check if they are not receiving the correct speeds – although they did tell me during my first call that they could see the speed was only 12mbps...🤔 They will send an ethernet cable by post anyway, or could send someone out to do it – £150 call out fee. Never mind. Contract ends in October and won't be renewed... Nice service for the elderly, what?

G (@gilbertsanchz) reportedReal world weight, then the fix. SQL injection has powered some of the largest breaches in history. The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.
