Positive tweet alert! In a world where I moan about everything, credit where credit is due. @TalkTalk just changed over my broadband to my new house for free, with no hassle and without me having to speak to anyone! Great customer service. Would recommend!

  • internetsense Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc

  • niclassicshirt NI Classic Shirt Co (@niclassicshirt) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk @sucooke They never reply to DMs either. The book appointments on the wrong day then just ignore you're messages to have it corrected. I'm certain it's so they can bill you for a missed appointment

  • niclassicshirt NI Classic Shirt Co (@niclassicshirt) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@GraceRussell11 @TalkTalk They're a shambles. They're just ignoring my messages to fix this appointment

  • matthew_cathal 𝕞𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕨 (@matthew_cathal) reported from Dunmurry, Northern Ireland

mum changed our internet provider and now talktalk have just cut us off completely until the new one starts feel like i’m 15 doing everything on my phone, feel like pure shit just want my macbook back

  • internetsense Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

Read the replies (this is simply awful) shameful response. Just the £7 Billion in their coffers. #talktalk and #BTSport also awful with their responses.

  • EmmaDeig Emma Deighan (@EmmaDeig) reported from Dunmurry, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk I’ve just moved and my service, which was turned on two days ago, is on and off. I’ve a new hub on the way, which I know I don’t need. Can you explain why I get two hours a day only of broadband. Not the best service for a journalist on deadline

  • trublustuuk Stuart Neilly 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇹🇭 (@trublustuuk) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk just reading your twitter. Seems I'm not the only one having issues. Is there a problem in the Newtownabbey area regarding service as the hub is acting like the router was, connection is slow and often drops out.

  • trublustuuk Stuart Neilly 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇹🇭 (@trublustuuk) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk The hub is plugged directly into the socket using the cable that was supplied with the hub. The hub is about a metre from the socket. The hub has a white light but internet is slow and inconsistent just like the routers were.

  • niclassicshirt NI Classic Shirt Co (@niclassicshirt) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk @KiteeKate They never reply to DMs either. The book appointments on the wrong day then just ignore you're messages to have it corrected. I'm certain it's so they can bill you for a missed appointment

  • PMcCrory23 Paul McCrory (@PMcCrory23) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@AlexKane221b I was without internet for a week. Talktalk, but it was actually a problem with my line, not the service. Had to get an openreach engineer out. They replaced part of the line as it was apparently corroded outside our house.

  • PMcCrory23 Paul McCrory (@PMcCrory23) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@jazlosaz @SamFras09714950 @TalkTalk After posting my issue on their community forums and filling in a form on the service section on TT’s site, they’re sending us an engineer on Tuesday. Worth getting on their forum if you haven’t, as it’s the only place where someone got back to us.

  • internetsense Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

I'm reading online that #talktalk are refusing to pay a 16 million pound bill as they haven't received the internet 📶 service that they both demand and require. How incredibly ironic #methinks

  • paulcollins123 Paul Collins (@paulcollins123) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk have to say the worse customer service I have ever experienced four phone calls to cancel a new service and no completed call. ... avoid

  • GlentoranNUFC Ryan Batchelor (@GlentoranNUFC) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Ruthieeee123 Aye I find it decent tbh but just depends what you’re looking for. Watch for ones who charge you to install it, talktalk where completely free the cheapest when I was moving in. My broadband runs my TV aswell as I’ve a Firestick & I’ve yet to have a problem. Good luck 👍🏻

  • niclassicshirt NI Classic Shirt Co (@niclassicshirt) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@JohnMat77117417 @TalkTalk They're an absolute shambles on twitter. Even they're Facebook customer services agreed in a private chat. They just ignore their customers

  • niclassicshirt NI Classic Shirt Co (@niclassicshirt) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk @altanaym You'll respond to everyone else's messages but mine and all I'm asking for is help

  • internetsense Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk I spoke with customer service for 45 mins to answer a single question. They were barely legible. You can't help me with costings and I can't cancel without penalties. So unless you've a magic wand -I very much doubt it!!

  • internetsense Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Mr_B33pB33p #talktalk no better, up and down like a *****'s drawers

TalkTalk Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • tunabrown1 Scott Brown (@tunabrown1) reported

@TalkTalk Absolutely horrendous customer service. Wifi speed 0.3mbs despite contract stating minimum of 3mbs. Refusing to send an engineer too despite offering to pay. Then refusing to pass me through to cancellations.

  • tunabrown1 Scott Brown (@tunabrown1) reported

@TalkTalk Thank you for the reply Jerome but I will wait until the 30 days notice and then cancel the policy for free. @TalkTalk have had ample opportunity to send an engineer and rectify the problem. I've expressed issues with the complaints team.

  • KimMorrisF Kim Morris (@KimMorrisF) reported

@YardleyShooting @TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup I gave up on the shambles company of Talk Talk too. I have EE now as we have EE mobiles. Not a problem in 10 years.

  • YardleyShooting Mike Yardley (@YardleyShooting) reported

I really think @TalkTalk are trying to wind me up. I have wasted an hour of my day trying to get through to them. Their automated systems don't work. And, thus far, they have refused to connect me to a manager despite multiple requests to escalate my complaint (failed broadband).

  • MattDoyle66 Matt Doyle (@MattDoyle66) reported

@TalkTalk I am trying to get added to my mother's account, she has dementia and needs help with all her affairs. I have a Lasting Power of Attorney but have been given a wrong email address to sent it to by Talktalk. I have spent the last 90 minutes trying to get sense from you

  • swsuttonc Stephen (@swsuttonc) reported

@TalkTalk Why does it take about 10 minutes of security questions to actually start on the problem? I don’t care if someone is pretending to be me to fix a connection problem, especially if it puts me out of the misery of being on the phone to you lot.

  • ramzz00918311 ramzz (@ramzz00918311) reported

@TalkTalk Is TalkTalk down in Cheltenham?

  • tunabrown1 Scott Brown (@tunabrown1) reported

@Discordia_19_ @TalkTalk Ive just come off the phone with them, after about a week then they finally let you know that if you wait 30 days from the complaint was logged then you can leave for free!

  • ClaireLouise_R Claire L Raymond (@ClaireLouise_R) reported

@TalkTalk I have so far had a bad connection, terrible customer service and I was told a manager would get into contact with me within a day, but 4 days later they still haven't. I've lost out on business and spent a great deal of time (over 3 hours now) trying to resolve the problem.

  • russell_payne Russell Payne (@russell_payne) reported

@TalkTalk I've been down that road to no avail more times than I can count. After over a year of paying £21 a month for the worst Broadband and customer service I've ever had, I'm leaving for another provider in 8 days. Thanks anyway Andy :)
