  • PMcCrory23
Paul McCrory (@PMcCrory23) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@AlexKane221b I was without internet for a week. Talktalk, but it was actually a problem with my line, not the service. Had to get an openreach engineer out. They replaced part of the line as it was apparently corroded outside our house.

  • PMcCrory23
Paul McCrory (@PMcCrory23) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@jazlosaz @SamFras09714950 @TalkTalk After posting my issue on their community forums and filling in a form on the service section on TT’s site, they’re sending us an engineer on Tuesday. Worth getting on their forum if you haven’t, as it’s the only place where someone got back to us.

  • KimKellyKK
Kim Kelly (@KimKellyKK) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

Positive tweet alert! In a world where I moan about everything, credit where credit is due. @TalkTalk just changed over my broadband to my new house for free, with no hassle and without me having to speak to anyone! Great customer service. Would recommend!

  • paulcollins123
Paul Collins (@paulcollins123) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk have to say the worse customer service I have ever experienced four phone calls to cancel a new service and no completed call. ... avoid

  • GlentoranNUFC
Ryan Batchelor (@GlentoranNUFC) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Ruthieeee123 Aye I find it decent tbh but just depends what you’re looking for. Watch for ones who charge you to install it, talktalk where completely free the cheapest when I was moving in. My broadband runs my TV aswell as I’ve a Firestick & I’ve yet to have a problem. Good luck 👍🏻

  • niclassicshirt
NI Classic Shirt Co (@niclassicshirt) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@GraceRussell11 @TalkTalk They're a shambles. They're just ignoring my messages to fix this appointment

  • internetsense
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

Read the replies (this is simply awful) shameful response. Just the £7 Billion in their coffers. #talktalk and #BTSport also awful with their responses.

  • niclassicshirt
NI Classic Shirt Co (@niclassicshirt) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk @sucooke They never reply to DMs either. The book appointments on the wrong day then just ignore you're messages to have it corrected. I'm certain it's so they can bill you for a missed appointment

  • EmmaSteeleDJ
Emma B Eleets (@EmmaSteeleDJ) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup Just had a manager from Talk Talk hang up the phone on me, because I failed the security questions. Their customer service just keeps on getting better! I advise anyone wanting to get broadband to go with anyone but Talk Talk

  • EmmaSteeleDJ
Emma B Eleets (@EmmaSteeleDJ) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

To go further that call from the manager from @TalkTalk I had been waiting on over a month.! The customer service received has been diabolical! Cannot wait to get out of the contract!

  • internetsense
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

I'm reading online that #talktalk are refusing to pay a 16 million pound bill as they haven't received the internet 📶 service that they both demand and require. How incredibly ironic #methinks

  • jnrtaggart
Junior (@jnrtaggart) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk internet is not working white lite but no life from.the connection

  • DavidPMet
David Phelan (@DavidPMet) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

.@virginmedia please can you stop calling me every day? Long term customer offered £45 per month renewal, got double the speed for half the price with @TalkTalk 👏🏼 Since then, repeated calls offering £20 per month package, should have rewarded loyalty to begin with! @Ofcom

  • trublustuuk
Stuart Neilly 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇹🇭 (@trublustuuk) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk The hub is plugged directly into the socket using the cable that was supplied with the hub. The hub is about a metre from the socket. The hub has a white light but internet is slow and inconsistent just like the routers were.

  • internetsense
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk I spoke with customer service for 45 mins to answer a single question. They were barely legible. You can't help me with costings and I can't cancel without penalties. So unless you've a magic wand -I very much doubt it!!

  • trublustuuk
Stuart Neilly 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇹🇭 (@trublustuuk) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk just reading your twitter. Seems I'm not the only one having issues. Is there a problem in the Newtownabbey area regarding service as the hub is acting like the router was, connection is slow and often drops out.

  • StripeyMiata
Jonathan McCormack (@StripeyMiata) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@Cruzetavia @TalkTalk @Plusnet Heard that before, but apparently the FTTP support is UK based and not outsourced.

@rockchic666 @TalkTalk Good luck Alison, took near four months to sort out my elderly aunts' issue with them.

  • SueWhite2014
    Sue White (@SueWhite2014) reported

Thank you to Sibonelo, the TalkTalk representative who finally resolved my issue after more fruitless phone calls. He was more than helpful and efficient. Thank you.

  • devilscustard
    Twiggy Bigwood (@devilscustard) reported

@CroneThe86880 @TalkTalk Oh ******! That sounds awful. My partner has now had an email from Moorcroft. It would be helpful if @TalkTalk actually told Moorcroft that they didn’t provide a service - and this is why we do not owe them anything.

  • llqdave
    Dave O (@llqdave) reported

@petergrant076 @TalkTalk @Ofcom They appear to be going bust. They are desperate not to issue refunds, or make goodwill payments if they can possibly avoid it. They've even dropped their X based support to save costs.

  • WF2K_
    Kerrie (@WF2K_) reported

@TalkTalk I know because I've been told exactly that by your team and I never said I was frustrated? So I'm not sure why you assumed that.

  • homegoal
    angela pring (@homegoal) reported

@TalkTalk Customer service is absolutely shocking , I’ve been without my broadband for 7days and counting. Keep being told to be patient and it will be fixed tomorrow which it then isn’t

  • graeme_manley
    Graeme M (@graeme_manley) reported

@TalkTalk are by far the worst company in the UK at present, their customer service and prices are insanely bad. I hope this company does not exist in the next 12 months. There will be no job losses as I'm sure they employ zero staff

  • BharathNetha21
    Bharath Netha (@BharathNetha21) reported

@TalkTalk My contract ended May 2026. I declined renewal, returned my router, and was explicitly promised NO fees on the phone. Now I'm being chased for a £21.05 bill (including admin fees) for a closed account! Your phones aren't connecting. DM me to fix this immediately.

  • mindinpanic
    Volodymyr Pavlenko (@mindinpanic) reported

@business TalkTalk offloading wholesale to Telecel is the sensible move, the consumer side has been dragging them down

  • erin_perin
    Erin (@erin_perin) reported

@TalkTalk your customer service is beyond poor, I have been without reliable internet for 12 days now. Your phone team are utterly clueless and your complaints manager doesn’t phone when he says he will. How do I cancel my internet with immediate effect?
