Tesco Mobile Issues Reports Near Botley, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Botley and nearby locations:

  • IanPaulFletcher Ian Paul Fletcher (@IanPaulFletcher) reported from Chandler's Ford, England

@UKgovcomms are spending £22m to ‘test’ their emergency message system this weekend. 1) No need to test it. I can assure you that all our mobile phones are working perfectly well this week. 2) @tescomobile now do an unlimited data sim for £25pm (much cheaper than £22m).

  • charlottpeirce_ Charlotte Peirce (@charlottpeirce_) reported from Portsmouth, England

@tescomobile internet coverage is horrendous, I’ve lost all connection again. This is constant and happening at least once a day - there are no issues in my area, just consistently bad internet! It’s not ok when I rely so heavily on it for work!

  • John_Rowland_PM John Rowland (@John_Rowland_PM) reported from Havant, England

@tescomobile why the hell I left @EE FOR Tesco is beyond me. My god they are a joke of a company. Will be reverting back and using my cooling off period ASAP to get away form Tesco. Shocking service, shocking coverage and poor customer focus.

  • DaveSwateridge Dave Swateridge (@DaveSwateridge) reported from Gosport, England

I feel sorry for anyone on the #O2/#TescoMobile network at the moment. I left O2 two years ago as a mast near me wasn’t working properly/4G was sooo slow, and they took forever to fix it. So they lost a customer! I’m with #EE now and never had any problems. 😃

  • NaomiPreston88 Naomi Preston (@NaomiPreston88) reported

@tescomobile I am in Australia and have been paying for a Tesco mobile contract that I can't use for over a year now. I'm trying to contact you but the customer service no. doesn't work and the live chat isn't loading. Any help please? (The mobile doesn't work any more)

  • busydawn Dawn Knight (@busydawn) reported

@tescomobile It is frustrating that I can only contact via Twitter which is, of necessity, very slow

  • busydawn Dawn Knight (@busydawn) reported

Anyone on @tescomobile or O2 tried to connect to local network in Madeira? If so, how did you do it please?

  • busydawn Dawn Knight (@busydawn) reported

@tescomobile keep being told “Mobile Network not available” (in Madeira) not picking up another signal. Website chat function not working - even in UK & obv can’t ring Cust Care. How do we get signal?

  • OriginalJoycey Paul Joyce (@OriginalJoycey) reported

@GCsurv @O2 @tescomobile It’s worst if you have an iPhone too! Areas in town where you sound like a robot or under water…never experienced it with my Galaxy. Apparently too much data traffic…more users on network, no additional masts, no investment.

  • CarrieWhite96 Carrie (@CarrieWhite96) reported

@tescomobile I really can’t wait for my contract to end because I will never use Tesco Mobile again what a waste of time and breath JOKES

  • andygboro Andrew Danby (@andygboro) reported

@tescomobile Contacted customer services & had subsequent email saying not to contact them anymore as its been escalated & trying to be resolved. Sit tight and wait till Tesco mobile can be bothered. What's my wife's cancellation rights bearing in mind you've not honoured the contract?

  • LuSchmoo Lu (@LuSchmoo) reported

@tescomobile Hello, I am afraid it’s back to one bar. The only thing that helps fix it is to go into the mobile data settings on the phone, select another network and then turn automatic network selection back on again. That’s a trick I saw from a video which still works.

  • MsTKIndeed TK (@MsTKIndeed) reported

@SafferTheGaffer @EE Even @tescomobile are putting up costs (use O2 network). I stayed with them as they made a big thing about NOT putting up costs mid contract. Can't afford to upgrade my phone so am hit by the price rises. Seems no MNO cares about their customers anymore, only their shareholders.

  • donziwonzi Donna R (@donziwonzi) reported

@tescomobile It was scanned at 289.99 when i questioned this I told rudely by the staff member to buy it online then. Perhaps the staff in store could do with some customer service training?
