@InTheseHeels Have you tried turning it on and off again? .....OK in all seriousness it happens to me on my LAN . I concluded as I'm on a domestic connection, Virgin Media , I suspect they refresh the network to loose dormant connections periodically and I get booted off for a few secs

  • theresahiggins

@virginmedia Sorry, I have done as above. It is still agonisingly slow. Cannot access emails properly. Cannot send attachments. It is the broadband that is the problem. TV is fine.

  • jimaxyn
Jimmy Regan (@jimaxyn) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia I spoke to the team, they will arrange a repayment, my issue is that when you want the money, even if it's on the wrong day, you get it instantly, when I demand a refund it's 4-5 business days and that means I incur charges due to your mistake

  • leipperm

  • lukeredpath
Luke Redpath (@lukeredpath) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia @ruskin147 It’s also affecting your 4G mobile data service so every time your broadband goes down so does the 4G and we lose all of our internet access.

  • lukeredpath
Luke Redpath (@lukeredpath) reported from Eight Ash Green, England

Looks like #VirginMedia is on the verge of falling over again. Had connection issues over the last half hour including Twitter not loading, *** pushes failing and Zoom being slow to connect. But weirdly I can still run a solid speed test.

  • Da_Hayts
Mark Hayton (@Da_Hayts) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia suggest you get more technical support staff!! Second attempt to get support after being disconnect after an hours waiting in a queue😡

  • FolkardSimon
Simon Folkard (@FolkardSimon) reported from Colchester, England

@krista_leia I don't know what to believe anymore, he told me on Sunday that Virgin Media were comping to fix it but it's now so bad i cannot even connect it. I can get wi-fi installed here just for me, but you usually need a phone line and the cost is going to be fairly high.

  • 2FingersRampant
2 Fingers Rampant (@2FingersRampant) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia service completely out at CO2 8QA and local area. Status page says all ok, so can you explain this please. Urgent work priority.

@virginmedia Now its 1600 tomorrow. Pathetic really, no explication for the fault or reason for delaying fix time.

  • lukeredpath
Luke Redpath (@lukeredpath) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia That was a wired connection. It downloaded in the end (all 92GB), I will keep a lookout for issues.

  • JHNaismith
    James (Jim) Naismith (@JHNaismith) reported

Usually optimistic on technological progress so disappointed broadband speed being > halved to 67Mbps next month by @bt_uk. @virginmedia can’t fix their “blocked duct” at front door, not good advert for uk infrastructure, I live in Jericho, central Oxford, not remote Highlands.

  • shakeyknee
    Andy🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@shakeyknee) reported

@CheekyVic @virginmedia Their broadband etc is top notch for me tbh, so fast and reliable but when I’ve had an issue their customer service has been truly ******* abysmal, they clearly don’t learn do they?

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!

  • villa4ever29
    angela worley (@villa4ever29) reported

@DianeRusse58708 @virginmedia I had the same issue. Did you have error code:CS2004? Mine is now fixed, but only within the last hour.

  • jhargie4
    john (@jhargie4) reported

@o2 @virgin @virginmedia CEO LUTZ SCHUELER received a call from your office regarding my complaint and when I asked a direct question rather than answer your representative went silent before abruptly disconnected the call with no warning. Great customer service.

@Dacosta150 @Jojo_agboola Bro, I’m on Youfibre too, lovely network. I dropped virgin media broadband, not because they are bad but cos of Youfibre upload speed. Their 1000mbps download is same with their 1000 upload. I’m on You2000 and it’s been lovely. @Jojo_agboola should try it

@BonesE78 @virginmedia I have the same reply, I've sent them a dozen messages, including photos and videos of the streaming box not working but my Alexa still able to say date and time. Not interested, just saying I have to call them from my landline, I don't have one. The service is pathetic.

@alan_reddish @virginmedia Day 34 here. And no proper answers such as whether any engineers have actually been out to try to fix things. Just stock answers from the @virginmedia script.
