Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
IFB Media (@IFBMedia) reportedThis is the problem LOI TV and Virgin Media can’t solve on their own. Both have done more for this league in a few years than RTÉ managed in decades. Let that sit for a second. A streaming service and a commercial broadcaster have outworked the national broadcaster on its own game. RTÉ isn’t short on money. It’s short on will. Every household in this country funds that broadcaster through the licence fee. League of Ireland clubs are part of that country too. Yet the domestic game still gets treated like an inconvenience, squeezed out whenever something bigger comes along… That’s not neutrality. That’s a broadcaster showing you exactly where its priorities sit. And it ain’t with covering our Domestic Football teams irrespective of whether it’s home, abroad or both. Other platforms shouldn’t be doing RTÉ’s job for it. They shouldn’t have to. A national broadcaster shows up for the national game. Consistently. Not when it suits the schedule. Until RTÉ treats League of Ireland like it matters, everyone else will keep doing the job it was funded to do. That’s not a compliment to the others. It’s an indictment of RTÉ. This is exactly why Irish football needs a genuine TV deal, not scraps of coverage from whoever happens to show up. The prize money isn’t there. The funding model is fragile. A real broadcast deal is how you finally finance this league properly. Until that exists, moments like this keep repeating.

Keivin Crane (@kcranebda) reported@virginmedia At you can see, attention to detail has been missed within this response. My name is spelled wrong. Why am I not surprised. I’ve contacted their customer service 4 times and even walked into stores. It is still not resolved. They should reach out to me. #not-impressed

SMC-1967 🍀 (@Smc___1888) reportedSort your ******* Internet out @virginmedia 3 times it's went off since AV woke up n gives you the same bullshit excuse on the service status.
-
Kultar Singh Ruprai (@KSRuprai) reported@virginmedia Loyal customer for 8 years. My WiFi has been intermittent for 2 weeks. Paying for 500Mbps but getting 5Mbps, with the hub randomly restarting. Service status shows intermittent issues, yet online checks say all is fine. New hub being sent but no engineer? Not Good.
-
Frazzz (@FrazzzYT) reported@virginmedia Oh it's eligible when the internet has been literally off for days and still says no fix. There was two weeks of up and down. Then it went off for half a day as you were "fixing it" now tis completely been off for days. Like come on now what am I paying for?
-
Nathan Duffin 🏴 (@NathanDuffin03) reportedDear @virginmedia you are the worst please go away
-
Belfast Books (@BelfastBooks) reported@TrevorM63275988 Having dealt with Virgin Media on behalf of clients for more than 20 years, I can say their customer service has changed dramatically. They now appear to rely heavily on contact deflection, a practice where customers are repeatedly directed towards web chat, FAQs and automated systems instead of being able to speak to a human adviser. While contact deflection is intended to reduce support costs, my experience is that it has reached the point where accessing a person has become unnecessarily difficult. I'll I'll be raising it with Ofcom under the complaint they have against them.
-
Dr Keresaspa 🦉🍉 🇵🇸 (@DrKeresaspa) reported@virginmedia Installed 360. What genius decided all the channels I'm not subscribed to will appear as blank screens when I'm channel hopping and how do I make it stop? If that's a deliberate design feature it's awful.
-
Lyn Prodger (she/her) (@Prodgey) reported@virginmedia If you look at my post I have sent a DM numerous times with no response it resolution. I will try again now 😡
