@virginmedia Amazing how you won’t sort out the problem with the account holder but you’ll speak to someone else about the account without the account holder’s permission!

@virginmedia TV and phone are fine. It is the broadband that is still slow despite the reset.

@InTheseHeels Have you tried turning it on and off again? .....OK in all seriousness it happens to me on my LAN . I concluded as I'm on a domestic connection, Virgin Media , I suspect they refresh the network to loose dormant connections periodically and I get booted off for a few secs

  • FolkardSimon
Simon Folkard (@FolkardSimon) reported from Colchester, England

@krista_leia I don't know what to believe anymore, he told me on Sunday that Virgin Media were comping to fix it but it's now so bad i cannot even connect it. I can get wi-fi installed here just for me, but you usually need a phone line and the cost is going to be fairly high.

  • theresahiggins
Theresa Higgins (@theresahiggins) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia I am not the only one in my area with a problem. Any idea when it will be resolved.

  • jimaxyn
Jimmy Regan (@jimaxyn) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia I spoke to the team, they will arrange a repayment, my issue is that when you want the money, even if it's on the wrong day, you get it instantly, when I demand a refund it's 4-5 business days and that means I incur charges due to your mistake

  • princess_boo148
Laura Stevens (@princess_boo148) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia It worked for a couple of hours last night and now back to not working this morning

  • DjOoooosch

  • lukeredpath
Luke Redpath (@lukeredpath) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia @ruskin147 It’s also affecting your 4G mobile data service so every time your broadband goes down so does the 4G and we lose all of our internet access.

  • kennythekilt
kenny wilson (@kennythekilt) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia Absolutely disgusting service from Virgin. Rang to get refund for sky sports since lockdown and no help whatsoever. And I can’t make a complaint apparently as it will be automatically closed!!

  • lukeredpath
Luke Redpath (@lukeredpath) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia trying to find your TV only plans on your website is a nightmare. Can’t do anything on your slow clunky mobile website.

  • DonegalDunedain
    DonegalDúnedain 🇮🇪 (@DonegalDunedain) reported

@moefitzpatrick I was expecting less support tbh, but the anomaly that is FFG 90 year old voters whose only source of info is Virgin Media and RTÉ will always upset perceived public opinion.

  • adrum1983
    Alistair Drummond (@adrum1983) reported

@misselledee @virginmedia I was out of contract and had to ask 3 times to be disconnected, they continued to charge me and said it wasn’t their problem when I complained they’d overcharged by £120. Never ever again!!

  • MikeModelsky
    Michael “Mecha” Modelsky (@MikeModelsky) reported

Is anyone else on @O2 finding that since the @virginmedia team up the service is horrendous, has taken my partner seven weeks to get their account unlocked, no it’s been unlocked. They can’t pay their bill due to an insecure website issue and too many redirects.

  • HawtinStewart
    Stewart Hawtin (@HawtinStewart) reported

@virginmedia I’ve DM 2 hours ago. Nothing. I’ve rung your number. Waited 30 minutes. And then again. Nothing. What kind of service is this? How do you speak to a human?

  • shauny67
    Shaun (@shauny67) reported

@virginmedia @sharonmariahall Yes excellent internet speeds & the only provider you can put the router into modem mode & add your own kit. 9 times out of 10 any WiFi issues are down to devices or where you have the router not the service. If you have a WiFi pod ensure you set up WiFi back haul.

  • PwnProblems
    Akita (@PwnProblems) reported

Virgin Media charge different prices for the Internet packages dependent on your willingness to negotiate. M350 package prices range from £29 to £66 a month. Today they told me they don’t accept blue light discount, which they 100% do. Don’t get angry, hang up, try again.

  • taylorlad2
    chris (@taylorlad2) reported

@virginmedia 2 internet outage in 2 weeks are you joking me 😡

  • abbyr6498
    Abby R (@abbyr6498) reported

@virginmedia never been so pissed off about something so minor. But the way your customer service team are is ridiculous. Then to try and say I will arrange the charge to be waived as if that solves the issue. Nothing should be waived for starters as I didnt get what I purchased

  • AlloquiStrix
    Alloqui Strix (@AlloquiStrix) reported

If it took me over a week to fix a network problem (it will actually be 10 days when @virginmedia get around to fixing our problem) I would have been fired. And you can't seem to register for compensation, even if you follow @virginmedia's own help system

  • S_Herbie
Simon 🎳🇪🇺🇬🇧 (not parody) (@S_Herbie) reported

@sharonmariahall @virginmedia I rarely have any issues with the service and pay a good price on my current contract
