  • clairekerrbear

@virginmedia Your company is the worst I've had to deal with. You do not answer the phone or on line. The last I heard of you was when I signed up. My signal in my home is absolutely useless. The only part of my house I have a proper signal is my living room.

@Adz_lufc @virginmedia Yup, keep being asked the same security questions at the dawn of each new day. Just going to cancel my direct debit and wait for @virginmedia to contact me, maybe keep them waiting for a few days....

Hats off to @virginmedia it has to be a record of some kind! Trying to cancel my broadband, they offer WhatsApp comms, mostly automated. 47 hours waiting to be connected to the person who can actually cancel my contract. I've been ****** about between renewal bots in that time.

  • clairekerrbear
(Phínula) Claire Kerr (@clairekerrbear) reported from Armagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia To be honest the cable covers have been the least of my problems with #virginmedia, my whole experience has been totally regrettable from day one. The only place in my home with internet coverage is my living room.

Shea Duffy (@sduffy10) reported from Lurgan, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia is it possible to make available the bt sports channels on your subscription if you already have bt sport directly through BT? Or is there an app etc you can sign into #Help #VirginMedia #BTSport

  • clairekerrbear
(Phínula) Claire Kerr (@clairekerrbear) reported from Armagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I have tested my wifi speed and it is so low. (I know I am not on my own why I say your company cannot be contacted or choose to not answer queries). I've been paying over the odds for an inadequate service. Looking forward to my contract finishing.

BIG MAVERICK🍀🇮🇪🍀 (@bigmaverick1) reported from Lurgan, Northern Ireland

@celticghirl_bee @Gerrykeogh2002 @virginmedia If they bump up the prices unexpectedly mid contract you have the right to cancel as they are in breach of contract! You can contact them to remove the increase or cancel altogether #ThatsTheLaw!

  • CarmelRobinson3
Carmel Robinson (@CarmelRobinson3) reported from Lurgan, Northern Ireland

Having a rubbish service from #VirginMedia promised hi fibre fast broadband and it keeps buffering. My partner spoke to customer service who said that was normal. We are leaving after 6 weeks of a terrible service

  • clairekerrbear
(Phínula) Claire Kerr (@clairekerrbear) reported from Armagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I have never got through on the phone to anyone. I just gave up and sitting out my 18 months contract. I would not have left @skytv if they had not over charged my account with no refund.

@virginmedia hey. can you explain why our virgin tv suddenly decided to become "cogeco" and insist we're in canada when we very much live in the uk and have never been to canada? we cannot access any streaming services.

  • formerprisoner_
    Reformed Prisoner (@formerprisoner_) reported

@virginmedia 2/2 cont… ombudsman. You constantly failed to deliver a service, made constant promises and failed to deliver on them, so you were left with no choice but to agree to the cancellation. You are quite comfortably the worst broadband provider I have ever come across.

  • AlanRob68902430
    Alan Roberts (@AlanRob68902430) reported

@EE your customer service imo now falls below even virgin media, 28th day of a complaint today so there is a dispute on the account, I'm currently on hold to some foreign country collections team, if the complaint is not escalated to exec team now I want a deadlock letter and

  • AlloquiStrix
    Alloqui Strix (@AlloquiStrix) reported

@virginmedia Perhaps, but not 1 day then 7 days between updates on the same day & within minutes. If this was a water outage for this length of time there would be water tankers delivering water to houses - why are you not providing us with mobile data during this extended SNAFU.

  • dombuz
    Buzz (@dombuz) reported

So, tomorrow begins the process of renewing my virgin media for the same price they offer new customers. My current deal renewal price £29.99pcm. New customer £24. The haggle and 1 hour of the worst customer service help line will be worth it.

  • philbreadin
    Phil (@philbreadin) reported

@virginmedia how come my bill has jumped from £55 to £72 mid contract? I understand it's April and a small price increase is expected but £17 is taking the mick. With the issues I've had lately @skytv is looking more tempting.

  • formerprisoner_
    Reformed Prisoner (@formerprisoner_) reported

@virginmedia Next time, do what you promise and you will. Just a shame that you’ve had 3 opportunities to do that with me as a customer and you’ve failed all three times.

  • HawtinStewart
    Stewart Hawtin (@HawtinStewart) reported

@virginmedia Any update on this? Really disappointed with the service provided here. I pay a fortune a month for this!!

@virginmedia the WiFi in Edgbaston / B16 has been down for 48 hours now. Tried finding out what’s happening but call centre was useless. When will this be sorted??? 48 hours is ridiculous

I’ve just been given Netflix ( I know I’m late to getting it ) by VirginMedia. The first show I’ve started watching is Breaking Bad ( I know I’m late to watching that too ) My question is should I stick with it as I’m 3 shows in and not sure what all the fuss was about yet?
