Simon I Caulfield (@BigSighZ400) reported from Craigavon, Northern IrelandHats off to @virginmedia it has to be a record of some kind! Trying to cancel my broadband, they offer WhatsApp comms, mostly automated. 47 hours waiting to be connected to the person who can actually cancel my contract. I've been ****** about between renewal bots in that time.
-
(Phínula) Claire Kerr (@clairekerrbear) reported from Armagh, Northern Ireland@MrDutchyDutch @Virgin @virginmedia I'm totally feed up with Virgin and I regret the day I ever took them on. If I walk past the Router I lose my signal on my phone !!! 😤

The last I heard of you was when I signed up. My signal in my home is absolutely useless. The only part of my house I have a proper signal is my living room.

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Jane Samuels (@janeamanda67) reported@virginmedia our television signal has been awful since Tuesday. Picture is pixelated and scrambled. I’ve phoned customer service 4 times! Today I have been told the issue won’t be resolved until next Friday! Totally unacceptable
-
Alloqui Strix (@AlloquiStrix) reportedIf it took me over a week to fix a network problem (it will actually be 10 days when @virginmedia get around to fixing our problem) I would have been fired. And you can't seem to register for compensation, even if you follow @virginmedia's own help system
-
simon bennett (@felixeemopener) reported@virginmedia I’m not at home now. If you tell me to use the app to check the service I think I’ll go mad. I’m fed up with every Saturday this happening
-
Cububo (@pokerchamp_Cbbo) reported@koenjideck Only worked well for me in recent years, but it gave me a decade of packet loss and outages before then 😵💫 I remember playing games with people on my street at uni, and half the people would disconnect in a lobby whenever Virgin Media had an outage 🥀
-
Adrian Bird (@bigbally) reported@virginmedia If you want to know how really BAD this bunch of COWBOYS are - listen to BBC Radio Four "You & Your" Monday 13 April. Utterly inept and incompetent. STEALING a LIVING. The Senior Management should HANG THEIR INCOMPETENT HEADS IN SHAME.
-
Alloqui Strix (@AlloquiStrix) reported@virginmedia My point was that the date of fix changed from 1 day, to 2, then 4, 3, 10, 4, and 10 days. Broadband is an amenity nowadays and your customers should not be without it for this length of time, especially when I'm told it's an upgrade of the infrastructure.
-
Alloqui Strix (@AlloquiStrix) reported@virginmedia First thing this morning you said the outage in my area (22) would continue for another week, then another message saying it would be fixed today, and now a message saying it'll be a week again. Is there a playbook you guys are using to wind up its customers?
-
tim.. (@timmorr17294439) reported@formerprisoner_ @virginmedia you think I've not called them you idiot I know that stupid fact we're not all thick. **** off to another supplier you moaning muppet ...
-
Rep74NL (@JohnnyRep74) reported@virginmedia your Webchat is awful , got an email regarding upgrading to 360 . Directed to webchat , 35 minutes later still trying to sort out what is an easy request . Your agent takes 10 minutes between each response to answer . I’m not bothering now
-
Henley (@HenleyDB) reported@GreyBlackstone @virginmedia They're charging me over £105 for only broadband. They're a bunch of greedy jokers. I had an issue and called them, they made things worse. I'm stuck not renewing my contract. If they mess up again, I end up paying even more but on a new contract or accidentally disconnected.
