@TSSNI @virginmedia completely disgusted by Virgin Media. Have recently taken out 3 phones on contract bringing it up to 4 on the account. One stops working less than a month after buying it and now they are looking to charge me to fix it before even looking at the phone.

Been a loyal @SkyUK customer for many years, but current process to move to Sky Q has been ongoing since 3rd August. Shocking service and zero communication. Time to cancel and move to @virginmedia

@SportyNeesy @bthelpline I'm thinking of reporting #virginmedia to trading standards as we certainly are getting a below par service

@virginmedia Already did that , you are pretty much lying to people taking the first and second month in the first bill. Only have been with you for one month. Your customer team said this was in the terms and conditions. Can guarantee you it's not as I wouldn't have signed up if it was

@virginmedia customer service is atrocious! Meant to be open to 8PM...but advisors just hanging up the phone instead of answering. Asking us to leave...

@virginmedia Your hold music sucks and it's annoying to have to have a full argument trying to cancel your account thanks. Try some calming music. Hold is rage inducing enough. Stick it in a suggestion box.

@virginmedia for anyone who is thinking about switching to virgin media don't. Their £50 refer a friend credit doesn't work and they charge £35 for the activation fee and take the first and second month in advance. So now looking at a bill of over £100. Tried to phone but no use

@virginmedia tried twice to cancel my services with you on hold both times for over 25mins - this is not the way to encourage customers to stay - just gonna cancel my direct debit !!! You can take this tweet as my 30days notice !!!

@beatlebaby84 @virginmedia With all these services I record the time, explain I'm busy and ask them to credit me £20, they never do, but often they'll credit £10 or £8, always worth a try!

@virginmedia. Signed up for 1 month sports channel. Told it would cost £15. Paid three times this. Not informed we had to ring up and cancel. Now three months paying double our usual bill.

Having a rubbish service from #VirginMedia promised hi fibre fast broadband and it keeps buffering. My partner spoke to customer service who said that was normal. We are leaving after 6 weeks of a terrible service

Have had the phone sent back once and now two weeks later still awaiting a pack to send it off again. Been told just to go to @Apple and been hung up on twice. Hundreds of pounds a month being paid to @virginmedia and not even a hint of customer service!!!! Disgusting

@virginmedia Broadband keeps dropping out which also makes the tv box work intermittently. Loss of picture and things like the TV guide on the tv box and can’t use WiFi as the broadband doesn’t work. Your site says there’s no problem then says there is and to come back in 24 hours

@virginmedia Already attempted this and Virgin still refuses the cancel our broadband. Terrible customer service really. If we require to switch providers again I can guarantee we won't be going with virgin again or recommending them to anyone.

@virginmedia It’s saying there are no problems but it could be the box is my only guess

@virginmedia Pointless trying to speak to anyone. Waiting for half hour to speak to somebody from a call centre with scripted answers. Even trying to cancel the order and make a complaint is an ordeal. Worst experience ever
-
Josh Allsopp
(@Scoobsterinc) reported
@virginmedia Simply said they couldn't do it because of a glitch and when we asked to talk to someone else to see if they could resolve the issue they refused. Then after being on the phone for an hour they hung up on us.
-
Josh Allsopp
(@Scoobsterinc) reported
@virginmedia Nope they simply repeated it they'd call back in a couple days but when we perused the issue they said they'll call back in a couple hours and claimed they never said a couple hours. We need this sorted today really as we will be busy with work for a long time and don't have time

@virginmedia I've done all that. Nothing wrong in my postcode area. I've taken sim out, I've factory reset, I've reset network settings. I'm not that stupid not to check. Clearly a major issue in my post code area that your6 not reporting. As it's fine when I walk 1.5 mile into to town.

@virginmedia Terrible customer service, me and my parents have been trying to cancel all day and have been hung up on twice and told we can't do it yet because a glitch and they wonder why we want to cancel.....
