  • _JennyMcKiernan Jennifer McKiernan (@_JennyMcKiernan) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Your complaints team appears to have lied to me. They've failed to register my formal complaint about harassment & what appears to be a criminal data breach. This is all over a router that was returned a year ago. Can you help?

  • jazzyrath3 Jazzyspurs (@jazzyrath3) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia your broadband service has been s**t the last 4 days in the BT8 area. Any chance of a fix as I am trying to work from home and having to use hotspot on my phone to ensure I can stay online. A trip to BT when my contract is up.

  • DAVIDBUZZ2904 DAVIDBUZZ2904 (@DAVIDBUZZ2904) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia But you haven’t offered me a better deal I’ve contacted you and nothing but if I leave you and join back I can get the deal it’s a bit stupid I might just go to someone else if you can’t price match your own deal

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia And I was also advised if it wasn’t resolved soon I should show the contract agreed to ofcom. Hopefully you can fix this or escalate it, thanks.

  • DrRichCollins Richard Collins (@DrRichCollins) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Two calls to 150 left me with little confidence that issue would be resolved. Neither seemed to know what was going on... VM have my number so I would appreciate if someone with some technical knowledge could call me. You’re currently not providing the service I’m paying for

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Then I noticed that I was missing the children’s channels. I called and got it sorted but I was told the new bill will show as £150 odd but not to worry a manager will be applying discount, that never happened.

  • lennylinfield Leonard Totton (@lennylinfield) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@theboardlfc @virginmedia It’s terrible. Mine was fine until lockdown started then it dropped to on average 8mb! Called a few times to be told it was fine. Only for preferring Virgin TV I would have changed a while back. There are many with the same story

  • DAVIDBUZZ2904 DAVIDBUZZ2904 (@DAVIDBUZZ2904) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia So if I left virgin mobile I could get the deal but it I stayed a virgin i whould have to pay more why can’t you price match yourself it’s stupid when I can go to a price comparison website and get cheaper for the same company

@virginmedia hi, how do I escalate a complaint through customer service please? New service connection as of Monday... tv service still not working despite 2 calls (and v long waits) to customer service number. Not happy and considering cancellation.

  • lilmissymoo90 Lauren Blair♥ (@lilmissymoo90) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia how does one get a newer router does one have to leave and come back in the future ? My wifi is awful just ordered wifi extenders but we get like 35mbs upstairs on a 350mbs package :)

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

Imagine being miss sold a product and no manager can resolve the issue, even after a month!, shocking @virginmedia #virginmedia

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I called again on Saturday to resolve this again and I was told this was a crazy amount of discount and that any TL or manager would find it difficult to approve. After hours on the phone and all Managment unable to help, I’ve now been advised to make a complaint.

  • peacekpr79 Peacekpr (@peacekpr79) reported

@parker_ciaran @Ofcom @virginmedia Check and see if you can get Vodafone fibre or Three 5G router. Far better than BT and Virgin. I would never recommend these 2 notorious providers.
