Hats off to @virginmedia it has to be a record of some kind! Trying to cancel my broadband, they offer WhatsApp comms, mostly automated. 47 hours waiting to be connected to the person who can actually cancel my contract. I've been ****** about between renewal bots in that time.

@virginmedia Well good news, my V6 box lost signal as well for 5 minutes, and when it came back again, so did the broadband. The Virgin van was parked near a cabinet, so maybe that was him fixing a fault there.

@virginmedia Tbh no. I requested to cancel both my upgrade with yourselfs and O2 due to the farcical error at the time. @O2 have since sent me a "final bill" requesting payment. Even though i didnt receive the sim and had closed the account.

@virginmedia Well then help. You've not been eager to help my elderly mum who has been in tears on the phone. You're cutting her phone line. She's venerable and elderly. You've messed her around and she's paying for a phone service you're about to destroy. You can't do this it's wrong.

@simonnread @virginmedia That’s part of the reason I have a separate email address personalised to each company of which I’m a customer. If the email doesn’t match the company, it’s a scam, but if it does match and is still a scam it means that company’s database has been stolen.
