Edward Freeman (@skywatcher1977) reported from Ayrshire, Scotland@virginmedia my contract ran out today, after a talk with the retentions guy I am now a customer for another (hopefully happy) 12 months. My bill may have raised £1 p/m, but for a provider who gives me 1TB of data use p/m without speed shaping, I’m VERY happy! 😊
-
Stewart Roxburgh (@SRoxburgh) reported from Troon, Scotland@virginmedia Dear Mr Bolt, sorry that you had to ruin your reputation by putting your name to this company. The only record VM will will break is for most network failures and lost customers. Hope you get this message eventually when internet gets fixed again.
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Bingerz (@Bingerz123) reported@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Go on the open reach network my man. Essentially all providers use it except virgin meaning the competition is high for retaining customers. Usually aim for a 24 hour service visit from an open reach engineer. Virgin are the worst BB provider, period.
-
Christian Schmeer (@cschmeer) reported@virginmedia Thank you, but unfortunately there’s no alternative placement as the next power socket would be through a wall and 10 meters down the hallway, which might help with the overheating, but is a weird spot as all my network connections run to the cupboard by the entrance.
-
Steve Hilditch (@SteveHilditch) reportedWell done virginmedia. ‘Intermittent signal in your area’ during the penalty shoot out of the champions league final. Missed most of it. Not impressed.
-
Urban Groove (@Urban__Groove) reported@virginmedia I'll ring tomorrow instead as im really F***** pissed off right now with you and your dog **** o2 partner 😡
-
Nathan B. Evans (@nbevans) reported@BenZaranko This is just how network operators roll now in hyper-consumption economies I saw a Reddit thread the other day where one guy had ended up paying Virgin Media £130/month just for basic cable broadband. Just because he hadn't challenged any of the price increases for 3 years.
-
Sunny Singh (@sunnysenguk) reported@virginmedia just spent a hour with 2 advisors who have made me feel like disconnection is the best option with VM, I have raised a complaint but I don’t feel confident that it will come to a resolution after my experience. Shame to end my contract after 15 years as a customer 🤬
-
bee (@beesportsresort) reportedI think Virgin Media should compensate me for my wifi being down during the Fortnite Community Event
-
Lucia (@LadyLucia05) reported@virginmedia Hi no actually because I am fed up sending messages, customer service is awful, retentions is awful and as for complaints well that's diabolical.
-
Rhys (@vickdawg92) reported@virginmedia Still dog **** thanks still not working
-
Jay (@Jason87r) reported@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Contact ofcom or ombudsman as they have to show responsible attempts to fix the issue if not they need release from contract without penalty and they are also members of the telecoms auto compensation scheme so should be adding a certain amount of credit to ur bills
