  • Graemereaper Ricky Goold 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇪🇺 (@Graemereaper) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Hi, @virginmedia, your service status says there's no issues with TV services in my area, but my @SkyCricket channel picture and sound are constantly breaking up. No, I'm not going to phone 150. Help for once.

  • AlanKinloch Alan Kinloch (@AlanKinloch) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia so Virgin Media. You are not Fast or Reliable if you don’t attend the installation date despite having paid up front for installation and despite multiple messages from virgin confirming your attendance today to install fibre. #wtf

  • AlanKinloch Alan Kinloch (@AlanKinloch) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia You could contact me during the order process and to take payment. Your team contacted us yesterday to advise that it would be installed today. Is it really possible to keep failing a customer this badly!

  • Albynpark David Hardie (@Albynpark) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@longbangers @virginmedia Can’t believe how shoddy they are. Spoken to five different people about the same problem, no joined-up writing to note what’s been discussed previously so I’ve had to explain it each time, switch off and on etc, etc. Being shunted from pillar to post

  • iABehl Abhishek Behl 🌎 (@iABehl) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia - heavy rains in Edinburgh & the internet doesn't seem to be working. Are others having the same problem and Can virgin please update !! #virginmediadown

  • AlanKinloch Alan Kinloch (@AlanKinloch) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@vmbusiness How proud are you when you cancel installation 5 weeks after an order is placed, on the day it was to be installed, because you can’t actually supply fibre.

  • AlanKinloch Alan Kinloch (@AlanKinloch) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@vmbusiness @MartinDMcFadyen @localgoveditors Not offering products, taking payment’ carrying out suitability for installation process, giving installation dates weeks away only to cancel on the installation date, when you realise you can’t ! That’s what not to do!

  • tartanjammies Tomahawk Kid © 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@tartanjammies) reported from Currie, Scotland

@virginmedia Just seems 1 heck of a coincidence. Can you see any reports of network issues in Eh14?

  • Tank2521 Dave Scott (@Tank2521) reported from Ratho Station, Scotland

@virginmedia how long does it normally take to transfer a number from another network? I've just been given a PAC code but don't want to call up just now if it's going to leave me unable to use my phone

  • AlanKinloch Alan Kinloch (@AlanKinloch) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia we went through a serviceability check with you at time of order. We were advised what product you could install so we ordered weeks ago and paid. You now tell us on the day of installation there is a serviceability issue! Are you incompetent or fraudulent!

  • AlanKinloch Alan Kinloch (@AlanKinloch) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@vmbusiness Not when @virginmedia offer fibre, complete a suitability for installation. take payment, give installation dates weeks away, then cancel on the day of installation! This kills growth!

  • GiulsMat Giulia Mattei (@GiulsMat) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia internet down in EH7. Any news on when it will be back up and running? #virginmedia #virginmediadown

  • biglibuser Joe Nockels (@biglibuser) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

  • tartanjammies Tomahawk Kid © 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@tartanjammies) reported from Currie, Scotland

Hey @virginmedia. On Saturday we had a tech visit to sort pixilated screens. He said network problem in street. Network guy came out today and fiddled in the street. Said it was fixed. Now have no broadband and unwatchable TV. Eh14 area. Nothing on status check. Help

  • Albynpark David Hardie (@Albynpark) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Shocking service from @virginmedia tv fault, spoken to five different people at Virgin, each time I’ve had to give all the details again, same procedures and all have failed to resolve the problem. More than two hours spent on the phone - now it’s call back tomorrow. Shambles

  • Tank2521 Dave Scott (@Tank2521) reported from Ratho Station, Scotland

@virginmedia I've received a bill saying I'm over £400 in credit. I presume this is some sort of error? I know if need to call to discuss specifics but is there anyone else reporting this issue?

  • dispositiondot dot mullally (@dispositiondot) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @martinlloydpfc @virginmedia @colejobburn i too have same issue

  • AlanKinloch Alan Kinloch (@AlanKinloch) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@vmbusiness Are you having a laugh! You offer fibre in places where you cannot actually install it. You sign up customers, take payment book installation then cancel on the installation date. This is not how to do B2B engagement

  • michaelgcuk Michael Clark 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@michaelgcuk) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia What's going on? Internet has been down for a while!??

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jess_hillyard J H (@jess_hillyard) reported

@virginmedia I will do so, in the meantime I still need clarity on the ongoing issues I’ve been experiencing with my WiFi - I’m still not receiving the service I’m paying for

  • Mehiyar مهيار (@Mehiyar) reported

@ProfTobyDodge @virginmedia Same problems here. Virgin Media is a terrible service provider. I've come to just accept their internet services will always be poorly. When you call them you wait hours when it comes to posting a tweet here they answer in a few minute but its just words @virginmedia

  • devinethoughts Jo Devine (@devinethoughts) reported

    @virginmedia Well that text service is a joke - it’s a bot

  • PeyiaA101 A101 (@PeyiaA101) reported

@virginmedia No. I have heard heard nothing. I am sending a letter to your Sunderland office today expressing my deep dissatisfaction. I already have a complaint which has been acknowledged but it could take up to 28 days until I receive a considered response.

  • KatePinkSmith Kate Smith (@KatePinkSmith) reported

@virginmedia Your complaints process stipulated a 48 hour acknowledgment. I didn’t receive a 48hour acknowledgment. It’s now 3 days overdue. Don’t print Ts&Cs if you can’t adhere to them! Resolution is a separate matter. Ensure you’re clear in your comms. Frankly VM are having a nightmare RN.

  • DavidMoreis david moreis (@DavidMoreis) reported

@virginmedia Yes the fact i had to spend days and days on the phone and now for it fixed and the fact nosy called me back or took my complaint seriously and yet again loss of service ans you still bill me like everything is ok

  • thetrashheap3 thetrashheap (@thetrashheap3) reported

@virginmedia Yes, both. Even with cable straight inti laptop. Had this issue before was issue at junction box. But this time can't get hold of a human to request engineer. The automated process on phone and laptop leads to dead ends

  • jess_hillyard J H (@jess_hillyard) reported

@virginmedia Tried this - I get passed around from team to team, I was told I was being put through to the customer experience team to voice my complaints and then was transferred to someone in billing who said there was no such department. Shambles.

  • SaspMoss Sarah Moss (@SaspMoss) reported

@virginmedia will you be compensating us for the 96 hours we are unable to view any TV due to ‘technical problems’ with our new V6 box

  • BTC_Sucellus Sucellus (@BTC_Sucellus) reported

@CryptoCobain Get a second line put in. They allow more than one per property. Works with phone line services and fibre (BT, Virgin Media, Plusnet, etc etc...) just got to be able to afford the bill which isnt exactly an issue for you lol
