    @virginmedia @virginhelp Think I’ve resolved it… but you’re you fault 🙄 The 2.4G network renamed *itself* back to modems’ default sometime over night (according to my network logs), so older devices could no longer connect. 5G devices were unaffected. I renamed SSID back to correct value. Bizarre.

    In all fairness to those that have @SkyUK broadband. It is an awful service. We suffered nothing but outages so we changed to #virginmedia as soon as we could. Went from around 35Mb to 200Mb then upgraded to 350Mb before I went onto Gig1.

    @virginmedia Yes I called them, for some obscure reason they cancelled the visit. Never bothered to tell me of course and have now rearranged another visit on the 25th. The right arm does not know what the left is doing.

    @virginmedia still having horrendous problems with this company, numerous calls since 22nd July. Twice assured that engineers would call, but no shows. I have spent hours conversing with numerous people to no avail.

    @virginmedia ongoing problems with my service. Promised on the 18th that an engineer would call in the 22nd, a no show. Then promised an engineer on the 25th, a no show. Then promised a new TiVo box in the post, yes you guessed it, yes a no show. Ridiculous service no explanation

    Hey @virginmedia. On Saturday we had a tech visit to sort pixilated screens. He said network problem in street. Network guy came out today and fiddled in the street. Said it was fixed. Now have no broadband and unwatchable TV. Eh14 area. Nothing on status check. Help

    Just one week ago @virginmedia carried out "essential works" on their network. Today the Internet connection has failed again. Eventually I was able find out there were "issues" in our area. And their app is a waste of space.

    @lloydkinsella @wallaceme @virginmedia The funniest one I had was when there was a massive local outage for several days (not up to the compensation threshold), and the CS team had no idea what was happening or even that there was an outage, because they had no way of being told there was by the engineering team

    @virginmedia Honestly, I tried contacting customer support & they didn't care, so I don't think there's anything further you can do, the functionality of 360 is hopeless, doesn't come anywhere near as good as the old TiVo box. I just need to dump the overpriced VM service as soon as possible.

    @virginmedia How long does that refund take? As that is almost 3x my normal bill. We’ve bn trying to get u to help us the past yr as our broadband only works when it wants but as soon as we said yesterday we wanted to leave u said u could help even tho u said there was nothing u cld do b4??
