Very unimpressed with @virginmedia #virginmedia , no surprise there it would appear. Sales pick up after one ring but when transferred to customer service currently on hold for 30 mins and counting. Each of those minutes brings me closer to wanting to cancel my subscription.

Anyone else having WiFi issues with @virginmedia done everything they suggest online and now been on hold for 20mins. Two days without wifi is far from ideal. Lucky it’s the weekend and I just want to watch Bridgerton and not trying to do more important things.

@2wheels2dex @virginmedia No, as in the internet cuts off a lot. The reason I think it’s a MacBook problem is I’ve sat with both a laptop and a MacBook on zoom simultaneously, one has cut out repeatedly whilst the other’s been fine. Every MacBook (three) in the house has had the same problem.

@virginmedia No, only on certain channels (5 HD being the worst) there seems be a static interference. The box is very old so not sure if it is compatible anymore

@virginmedia Please bear in mind that the issues are UPSTAIRS on WiFi. Downstairs WiFi is fine. A wired connection is irrelevant to that discrepancy.

So I feel very stupid for this but if you have AD blocker on your laptop then it won’t allow you to stream live on virgin media player, so if for the past few nights you’ve had hassle watching Love Island this is why 🥴
