  • happymaan
Radhamanalan (@happymaan) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia I checked.. No issues in my area!

  • thebarfly
The Bar Fly (@thebarfly) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Nothing. The frustration is there’s no record of an outage yet I’m now told it will be 21st when that is fixed. At which point my issue is still going to exist and I’ll have to phone the awful call centre again to beg for an engineer.

    @virginmedia Day 4 of outage...

  • Kim6672012

@virginmedia poor show @virgin media. Nothing works! Not even the app or your service status page.

  • trippfuller
trippfuller (@trippfuller) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia It's a bit offensive to send someone u cost significant income a link so they can get a fee bucks. If u just communicate sucking in advance those who count on service can arrange.

  • vcash78
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Very interesting as I was told £216.11 for each service (TV, BB, Phone). I asked is this a total of over £600 and she said, “yea mamm, that is correct”. My response was purely to laugh. This conversation has happed in the last 15 minutes. Absolutely despicable!

  • philippawrightt
Philippa Wright (@philippawrightt) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Sorry? Like my formal complaint - I’m unsure if you have read my tweet? I bought a box and returned the WiFi myself. Ombudsman time?

Friday night powered by 5G since @virginmedia delivery via @YodelOnline seems to have disappeared into the ether. So work was painfully slow, and now I’m cleaning the fridge because, it seems everything in this 1860’s house is reliant on broadband. Thank god for @EE 📱

  • galleonskip
Roddy Elliott (@galleonskip) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Got a message after power outage in Edinburgh yesterday that Virgin Services had been restored - internet is okay but ‘phone line off. Is this a known issue, EH16

  • fergus_wright
Fergus Wright (@fergus_wright) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@Will_Jeffs @virginmedia Tbf ive had problems with my wifi for the last few days, what i done was unplug everything then wait a couple of mins then plug it all back in again then it was fine.

  • DegsyScott
Derek Scott (@DegsyScott) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland

@benjitindz @virginmedia To be fair, the speed is the best option and I’m on 250mbps whereas the best I’d get on ADSL is 10-34mbps. Agreed, customer service is worse than a RyanAir equivalent

  • bigtoodle
Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Well as usual you are not proactive to customers informing them of a lack of service. You instead are always reactive when someone complains and slow to compensate for loss of service. Your frequency of drop outs in service are held as secretive.

  • gajarlove
Evelyn Love-Gajardo (@gajarlove) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia no landline or Internet at EH16 6GD since early this morning and your website appears to be down so it can't be reported.Update please?

  • PatMcCarthy37
Patrick McCarthy (@PatMcCarthy37) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia About 14 days ago I kept being asked to reset my password. On the 3rd or 4th occasion I was locked out. The first Help Desk person said 'suspicious activity' and escalated the problem. The second person said that the address was not associated with the primary account holder 1/2

  • WendyBe54745206
Wendy Bell (@WendyBe54745206) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Issues when you phone VM you are constantly transferred to different people cold transfer then if they put u on hold cut off .why is there no email or decent human web chat poor customer service I am still waiting to get complaints resolved

  • wshiells
willie shiells (@wshiells) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia , spent 2 hours online chat with yourselves, then passed onto customer service , now 5 hours later still no response. Worst customer service out there folks

  • Alli3Fifer
Alli (@Alli3Fifer) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland

@virginmedia Quite simply No. They are in mid 70s and tbh we just need the issue fixed. Mum is awaiting a call from the hospital & is concerned and stressed they won’t be able to get her as she hasn’t had use of the number she is has had since 1989 for over a week!! My Dad is just stressed

  • thefyvies
David Fyvie (@thefyvies) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia It’s been horrific for the last 4-5 days although today is by far the worst.

  • thelifeoftul
Tullia (@thelifeoftul) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ScottM083 @virginmedia If that’s the case then Virgin need to communicate this to their customers as the lack of communication is doing more damage than the lack of wifi at this point! 🙈

  • Samet_UK
    Samet (@Samet_UK) reported

@virginmedia It is still showing the same in status since the early morning. There is no any other update or any estimated time. At least I would expect another update saying about the outage and estimated fix time.

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK Once had to deal with Virgin Media, absolutely never again. They were impossible to deal with, just got sent from one department to another and it took weeks. Never again.

  • stuzig
    Stewart Hunt (@stuzig) reported

@virginmedia why is my Internet and TV cutting out several times a day, every day? Was told it would be fixed and to call back if still having problems and now completely unable to get through to anyone. This is not acceptable service

  • SlientPixel
    SUFI (@SlientPixel) reported

@InternetH0F I mean in the uk literally a week ago one of our virgin media got fined 28m for making hard to cancel

  • Samet_UK
    Samet (@Samet_UK) reported

@virginmedia The Wi-Fi hasn’t been working since 1 a.m. It says there’s an outage in the area, but I can’t reach customer service either. There still haven’t been any further updates. There’s no information about when it will be fixed or what’s going on.

  • PDogTricks
    PDogTricks (@PDogTricks) reported

@ClientsSupTech @missLucy127 Be careful. X is awash with accounts claiming to represent big companies. Only a profile pic given, no website quoted. DM supposedly to identify a customer may in fact be phishing for personal details. If @virginmedia cared they would report such accounts, get them closed down.

  • Craig_Higgins
    Pazuzu (@Craig_Higgins) reported

Hey @virginmedia we've recently just renegotiated our internet with yourselves after the price became completely unaffordable but based on the news Ofcom has found you guilty of deliberately mishandling customer calls, was this an unwise move?

  • Robertjameses
    Rob (@Robertjameses) reported

@kwestfanclub @Stsantek @virginmedia No, the responsibility is with the customer to know what contract they are bound to, however unwanted it is
