-
Effie Fenton (@effiefenton) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia my daughter has finally got a new home in supported accommodation but can't move in until a telephone line is connected so her carers have access to a 24/7 phone. The earliest appointment is currently a month away. Can you help us so she can start her new life?
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandI was left without service for a week with multiple lies, promises of calls that didn’t happen and appalling customer service … you promise compensation of a month for free, the next you state £650 for disconnection. We are in a coat of living crisis you idiots! @virginmedia
-
Effie Fenton (@effiefenton) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia With respect, that just takes you to a forum on your own website to tuck this away out of public view. I'll let you know here if I get any response. Emergency response phone lines should be treated as a priority by all telecoms companies.
-
Patrick McCarthy (@PatMcCarthy37) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I managed to find a phone number to call you. The message 'don't contact us unless you need to' isn't great is it! Follow up text asks me to rate VM on the basis of my interaction. Not fair is it. Not the help desk fault if everything else is so bad.
-
Acky (@lexo6647) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia as it was tiresome and he can’t get through to anyone. The same problem I had today. He has his phone, broadband and tv with you. His mobile as well I reckon. Having spent a good bit time today going through all the stuff on the phone to eventually be hung up on is infuriating
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Very interesting as I was told £216.11 for each service (TV, BB, Phone). I asked is this a total of over £600 and she said, “yea mamm, that is correct”. My response was purely to laugh. This conversation has happed in the last 15 minutes. Absolutely despicable!
-
Mike McNulty 🏴🇪🇺🇺🇦✊ (@bankaudits1) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I tried to get help but didn’t get through to anyone just a text sent to my mobile telling me how to fix it but no joy. Checked the forums and turns out I’m not alone and the upgrade is rubbish so just stuck it in the cupboard.. hopeless!
-
John M Hunt (@Johnmhunt) reported from Oxgangs, Scotland@virginmedia hi I’m aware there’s a calling issue just now on Virgin Mobile but I was wondering how to get an upgraded 5G SIM on ultimate Oomph as the one we have is only allowing 4G.
-
upgrade completed (@etjorgensen) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandThat's virgin media back down to £30 a month from £53, all because of one call. If energy prices are going up just tell everyone you can't afford them any more and they'll soon offer a discount!
-
Radhamanalan (@happymaan) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I checked.. No issues in my area!
-
James Smith 🏴🇮🇹🇿🇦 (@SobukweScozia) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Except I can’t because I get fobbed off and they just try to get me to upgrade my package. Seriously. I’d just like to know if there is some systemic complex issue, as you suggest, or not.
-
Viv Haig (@vivhaig) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Yes I’ve done all of that and my phone is saying ‘Check phone line’. My land line has been off since last Friday. Ever since it was swapped over to your fibre network and the new adapter fitted to the back of the router. I’m paying for a service I’m not receiving.

Edinburgh’s Disgraces (@EdiDisgraces) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandCost of living advice - IF Virgin Media ask for a big price hike tell them you are going elsewhere but will stay for the same price as a new customer would pay. It takes a while but saved £800 (over 18 months) today and will get more for same price/no increase @MoneySavingExp
-
Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia The phone is not working and your engineer was arranged to call today between 1.00 and 6.00pm needless to say he did not arrive or give me a call to arrange another day.
-
seldomseenkid (@seldomseenkid) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@vmbusiness @virginmedia @virginmedianews Why is your service so unreliable? Are we expected to pay for a service that doesn’t work?
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I am on the phone right now and like I’ve said. The service I am receiving is disgusting. 40 minutes call and to be told that in a #CostOfLivingCrisis you want £650+ to disconnect a service. Must’ve been robbers you merged with as this is criminal behaviour.
-
Tullia (@thelifeoftul) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@ScottM083 @virginmedia If that’s the case then Virgin need to communicate this to their customers as the lack of communication is doing more damage than the lack of wifi at this point! 🙈
-
Roddy Elliott (@galleonskip) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Got a message after power outage in Edinburgh yesterday that Virgin Services had been restored - internet is okay but ‘phone line off. Is this a known issue, EH16
