-
Alli (@Alli3Fifer) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland@virginmedia Quite simply No. They are in mid 70s and tbh we just need the issue fixed. Mum is awaiting a call from the hospital & is concerned and stressed they won’t be able to get her as she hasn’t had use of the number she is has had since 1989 for over a week!! My Dad is just stressed
-
Acky (@lexo6647) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia been trying to get through to you. Finally got through to try and speak to a customer service and was cut off immediately when transferred from automated service to an actual person. Trying to sort out my 80 year old dads tv service. Awful service

liam finn (@lfinn777) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Is this in progress? I haven't seen any resolution?
-
Mark Taylor (@marktaylor73) reported from Bathgate, Scotland@virginmedia twice now appointment for line pull has been scheduled and twice now there’s been no engineer. Move of service to new house required , now being told 10th November, not acceptable.
-
Derek Scott (@DegsyScott) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland@benjitindz @virginmedia To be fair, the speed is the best option and I’m on 250mbps whereas the best I’d get on ADSL is 10-34mbps. Agreed, customer service is worse than a RyanAir equivalent
-
The Bar Fly (@thebarfly) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I also phoned to report on Thursday but was then told yesterday there was no record of that so must be lying. The customer service on the phone is truly atrocious. Your services are great when they work, your customer services the opposite.
-
The Bar Fly (@thebarfly) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia And the scheduled engineer call tomorrow got cancelled because of this unrelated and later supposed outage. It’s a farce.
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandFinally something positive to say about @virginmedia following a call from Callum at the “executive team” providing the level of current service I would expect from a such a huge company! Perhaps the skills of good customer service need to be a CPD exercise for the call centres!
-
Neil Finlayson (@neilfinlayson) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia we’re very displeased with your Internet speed. Up and down like a yoyo. CityFibre next stop
-
Ashley (@ashjrox) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandI've had rude calls with some staff, spent over £9 on calls to @TravelodgeUK to get this refunded for the charity, their customer service emailed saying that even though two of their staff & virgin media said I should get a refund that they are not going to refund. #badservice
-
diandrick (@ladyracer70) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Thanks for asking. An operator will call me back tomorrow, as it’s part of an ongoing three week saga. I’m so disappointed as I’ve been a loyal VM (originally Telewest) customer for around 30 years. Remaining hopeful 🙃
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Since yesterday afternoon. I was working so not entirely sure but approx 24 hours. £160 a month to be without even “free” channels. I am aware nothing is without fault but the poor customer service and lack of ability to locate/tell us what the issue is, is appalling.
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Very interesting as I was told £216.11 for each service (TV, BB, Phone). I asked is this a total of over £600 and she said, “yea mamm, that is correct”. My response was purely to laugh. This conversation has happed in the last 15 minutes. Absolutely despicable!
-
Philippa Wright (@philippawrightt) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Sorry? Like my formal complaint - I’m unsure if you have read my tweet? I bought a box and returned the WiFi myself. Ombudsman time?
-
Effie Fenton (@effiefenton) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia With respect, that just takes you to a forum on your own website to tuck this away out of public view. I'll let you know here if I get any response. Emergency response phone lines should be treated as a priority by all telecoms companies.
-
Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia at last, fixed at last, that’s only taken from the 20th Nov to the 28th of Dec to fix my home phone.
-

-
James (Jim) Naismith (@JHNaismith) reportedUsually optimistic on technological progress so disappointed broadband speed being > halved to 67Mbps next month by @bt_uk. @virginmedia can’t fix their “blocked duct” at front door, not good advert for uk infrastructure, I live in Jericho, central Oxford, not remote Highlands.
