victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I am on the phone right now and like I’ve said. The service I am receiving is disgusting. 40 minutes call and to be told that in a #CostOfLivingCrisis you want £650+ to disconnect a service. Must’ve been robbers you merged with as this is criminal behaviour.

Patrick McCarthy (@PatMcCarthy37) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I have still not heard from you other than to be told that the email account I can no longer access, is not associated with the account we've had with you for 25 years. Am I supposed to just accept this? How do I escalate a complaint?
-
Patrick McCarthy (@PatMcCarthy37) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia What is going on with your email service? You don't recognise my password causing me to keep changing it and now you've locked me out and stopped me doing that. Awful service.

Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia more problems with Virgin, their internet and phone service in EH 14 has had problems for two weeks, no refund for the loss of service though. I was cut off today after their call handler could not answer the simplest of questions on an overcharged bill.

upgrade completed (@etjorgensen) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandThat's virgin media back down to £30 a month from £53, all because of one call. If energy prices are going up just tell everyone you can't afford them any more and they'll soon offer a discount!
-
Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Well as usual you are not proactive to customers informing them of a lack of service. You instead are always reactive when someone complains and slow to compensate for loss of service. Your frequency of drop outs in service are held as secretive.
-
Patrick McCarthy (@PatMcCarthy37) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@AndyHarrison123 @virginmedia Help desk pretty much admitted it. Said suspicious activity. No doubt me constantly changing my password. Suggested fix within 5-days. Said they would email me when done!!!! First noticed it about a week ago. Galling when you get the followup marketing text.
-
Billy Doyle (@wcd07) reported from Livingston, Scotland@biker_Ian @Craids Think I'll be changing no. My @virginmedia still down. Shocking service 🤬
-
The Bar Fly (@thebarfly) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I also phoned to report on Thursday but was then told yesterday there was no record of that so must be lying. The customer service on the phone is truly atrocious. Your services are great when they work, your customer services the opposite.
-
Acky (@lexo6647) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia been trying to get through to you. Finally got through to try and speak to a customer service and was cut off immediately when transferred from automated service to an actual person. Trying to sort out my 80 year old dads tv service. Awful service

-
Kelly Kilner (@KellyKilner) reportedGood. This is the WORST telecoms company. I’m still reeling from the bad service i endured in Nov, Dec 2025. @virginmedia. I have said that I will write to Ofcom but tbh…I feel worn by them. There is a whole industry and profits based on BAD customer service.
-
Ian F (@mashie1964) reportedI used to be with #VirginMedia for years. Service was poor, always having outages, sometimes for days. They’re the spivs of broadband communications. Now I see they’ve been caught abusing & trapping customers. Time they lost their licence to operate in the industry
-
Blah! Blah! Blah! (@djnikc) reported@ElJaffoGuzman @virginmedia you won't help still waiting for a reply myself
-
Ian McNee (@IanSMcNee) reported@premnsikka Something of a tangent Prem but there are good domestic service providers that are not owned by US multinationals. I ditched the appalling @VirginMedia years ago over their terrible customer service & moved to Andrews & Arnold - @AAISP. A little more expensive but great service.
-
Rob Wilson (@mrrjwilson) reported@ToddCoxeter @virginmedia I remember trying to cancel my broadband and the guy was just downright rude and obstructive. I vowed never to use them again and ripped out the ugly cable termination box from the front of my house.
-
Michael Cuddington (@cuddy271) reported@Ofcom I am told there is more strife coming down the line for @virginmedia they have a 360 tv box which customers hate becauseof its many problems and many want out .
-
Dave (@UK_DC_One) reportedThat new @virginmedia upgrade, my advice to anyone thinking about it, DON'T DO IT!! We've had nothing but problems in our house with the WiFi since, especially in hot weather, it cuts out and drops out. Nothing but connectivity issues. It's awful. Router getting red hot constantly Helpline no use So what is the problem Virgin Media? When this was set up, your engineer assured us there would be no issues. Router checked, brand new boxes installed, so why is this happening? Seriously thinking of cancelling my contract because I'm not getting the help or service im paying for right now
-
Charley Northwood (@CharleyNorthwo2) reportedProblem with this is £28M is probably small pocket change to @virginmedia. They will laugh it off and carry on as they have been. What should have happened is a ban on signing up new customers for a period, say 6 months. That might have concentrated their minds a bit.
-
Christian Smith (@SmithChristian4) reported@lukerobins @virginmedia I can stomach the £2 difference in offering, not sure if it’s area based, but a £14 offer for an existing customer when a new one gets it much cheaper is where I draw the line. Virgin I DM’d you as requested and you’re yet to come back to me….
