can you please sort your internet out @virginmedia! I apprecIate there’s probably more people on the network during the week but at the weekend and a very hot summer night.. constantly dropping in and out. It’s not like it’s cheap to have you as a service provider!

@martyajackson @virginmedia This seems to have been a UK wide issue, lots of talk of Vodafone, Sky, BT, EE and TalkTalk all having issues. All back up now though. Virgin shouldn’t have been affected but who knows at what box the issue lay

@virginmedia Not got a clue, they didn’t say, when we check online it says there are no known issues but speaking to an advisor yesterday they said that there was definitely a fault and they would get an engineer out ASAP

@virginmedia Theres no wifi or TV..tried your online service as the error code advised this yet doest help much ! I know how to switch the system on/off to reset ! customer service is a joke to get thru on !! And when you do they hang up 🤬 3rd time this has occured in the last 2 months!

@DaveLydon @virginmedia Honestly I would go with another provider. They have cancelled my installation date twice now and I’m being charged. How they can justify price hikes when the service is so dire is beyond me. I’m now moving to bt internet who have been a dream to deal with in comparison

@virginmedia Kelly communication pulled the line two days ago but until that work order is closed down they can't book the engineering 🙄🙄🙄🙄 but I had a install for the 16th of dec but virgin cancelled it cos they are incompetent of doin a simple task !

Virgin media clearly has monopoly / dominant position in hi speed cable provision of bdband. It's unhealthy & deleterious to consumers & UK productivity given consistently poor service. UK needs "world beating" broadband NOT 2nd rate + anti competitive @ofcomCH @UKLabour @RupaHuq

@MartinSLewis It's particularly galling when calling to cancel a service. I have been trying to give 30 days notice to @virginmedia to cancel my services. Selected initial "options", waited 40 minutes to be connected, then was told I needed to be transferred and was put on hold again!
