  • Alli3Fifer
Alli (@Alli3Fifer) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland

@virginmedia Spent another 75 mins on the phone & managed to get a technician out this afternoon. The technician confirmed it is a known fault with the hub 5 and knew without testing what the issue was. The fault has no fix and my vulnerable parents are still left without the phone service.

  • dreamingisfree
Laura Barbour (@dreamingisfree) reported from Bo’ness, Scotland

service agent who tells me an appointment is scheduled for the 15th November. Shall I laugh or scream? 7 weeks with no WiFi? @virginmedia (2)

  • sh0110b8995
Stephen Honeyman (@sh0110b8995) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland

@virginmedia hello I'm trying to sort out my new upgrade as I have problems with it. The customer service is closed when can I get help?

  • bigtoodle
Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia The phone is not working and your engineer was arranged to call today between 1.00 and 6.00pm needless to say he did not arrive or give me a call to arrange another day.

  • effiefenton
Effie Fenton (@effiefenton) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia With respect, that just takes you to a forum on your own website to tuck this away out of public view. I'll let you know here if I get any response. Emergency response phone lines should be treated as a priority by all telecoms companies.

  • philippawrightt
Philippa Wright (@philippawrightt) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia do you actually read formal complaints or are they just automated responses too?! For the second time the response does not answer the complaint at all?

  • DegsyScott
Derek Scott (@DegsyScott) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@benjitindz @virginmedia Product is good, customer service non existent

  • Giannop
Geraldine Daly (@Giannop) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Virgin media are the worst company in the universe to deal with

  • thebarfly
The Bar Fly (@thebarfly) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia I also phoned to report on Thursday but was then told yesterday there was no record of that so must be lying. The customer service on the phone is truly atrocious. Your services are great when they work, your customer services the opposite.

  • rykoonmesto7
Ryan (@rykoonmesto7) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia been down all morning, reset router and checked service status and everything online

  • wcd07

  • D3borah1404
    (@D3borah1404) reported from Livingston, Scotland

@virginmedia Yes!!! Constantly. Haven't had selected channels now for over 2 weeks and WiFi is abysmal! Seems to fall on deaf ears as the issue is never resolved ! Certainly won't be renewing my contract with yous if its not resolved anytime soon!

  • bigtoodle
Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Yes I have phoned yet again this morning so I think your organisation are considering some sort of compensation for the five weeks I have been without the service. No doubt it will be a paltry sum in comparison to what I pay every month.

  • thelifeoftul
Tullia (@thelifeoftul) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ScottM083 @virginmedia If that’s the case then Virgin need to communicate this to their customers as the lack of communication is doing more damage than the lack of wifi at this point! 🙈

  • philippawrightt
Philippa Wright (@philippawrightt) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Read my tweet. I have been sent a “resolution” already. Which advised to return the box/speak to online chat if further issues. As I have pointed out multiple times I have already returned the box. This is absolutely infuriating at this point.

  • DarrenObbard
Darren Obbard is on mastodon (@DarrenObbard) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Yes. Yesterday. Which is why our phone doesn't work. No adapter, despite being assured it would be sent.

  • bigtoodle
Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Well as usual you are not proactive to customers informing them of a lack of service. You instead are always reactive when someone complains and slow to compensate for loss of service. Your frequency of drop outs in service are held as secretive.

  • gajarlove
Evelyn Love-Gajardo (@gajarlove) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia It's not showing up and it's now been down since first thing yesterday. They are elderly and need their landline to be working. Is there a way to speak to someone if it's not fixed by 4?

  • FredBra93439257
    RoadRunner TX (@FredBra93439257) reported

@TheMercianNews I'd like to see mobile phone and internet companies shut down operating in the UK on a single day. Have USN/Seals sever all international fiber into the UK on a single day. SHUT DOWN the City of London Physically SEVER International Fiber from BT/OpenReach, VirginMedia/O2, Vodaphone and the LINX Nework internchange in London. Ideally each line in 2-3 points of varying distance from UK shores to make repair more complex than laying new fiber. Air attack on all the major BT interchanges plus the physical operations of Cloudflare Akamai, AWS/Cloudfront, GoogleCloud CDN and smaller operators like Azure, Netflix, Meta and every source of new fiber either mfg or warehousing Destroy every piece of equipment and then just leave. Make all European govts TERRIFIED of the crazy Americans Destroy the internet as a means of brainwashing the British public

  • tpembe1
    Troy Pemberton (@tpembe1) reported

@virginmedia The network issue was supposed to be fixed on the 2nd July. Low and behold I am still experiencing the same problems a day later.

  • waughzone
    Duncan Waugh (@waughzone) reported

@virginmedia Your customer service is a disgrace. I have had intermittent broadband for 4 weeks but you make it almost impossible to get it fixed. I finally managed to connect to a human on a chat who was next to useless and then sent me an email to say everything was resolved.

  • bushmills7d
    Paul Williams (@bushmills7d) reported

@virginmedia great service again. Second time today we’ve had no service , that’s the third time this week. If We hadn’t renewed our subscription with you we would cancel

    Penelope Jane (@Penelop30614474) reported

Tired of paying for multiple subscriptions like Sky, BT Sport, Virgin Media, Now TV, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+? I have got the solution. This IPTV @8k_ultra_IPTV6 offers: • 300,000+ live channels • 65,000+ VODs • PPV events • Netflix • 78,000+ movies

  • kcranebda
    Keivin Crane (@kcranebda) reported

@virginmedia being called out! A word of advice. Do NOT use their one switch system. This system is NOT one switch. They promise you get to keep things like your old number. That’s a lie. Poor customer service. They don’t keep their promises. They should run for PM of the UK!

  • fents71
    Fentz (@fents71) reported

@virginmedia seriously guys, 15 days to wait for someone to check what appears to be a damaged cable is not great customer service. It’s like last summer all over again!

  • waughzone
    Duncan Waugh (@waughzone) reported

@virginmedia No change. Service still intermittent at best.

  • zeno001
    Alan Henness (@zeno001) reported

@O2 I did that yesterday but got bogged down in setting up a virginmedia/o2 account rabbit hole. It was a nightmare. There are no new notifications there.
