tootsietweets (@tootsieiam) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandFriday night powered by 5G since @virginmedia delivery via @YodelOnline seems to have disappeared into the ether. So work was painfully slow, and now I’m cleaning the fridge because, it seems everything in this 1860’s house is reliant on broadband. Thank god for @EE 📱

Mike McNulty 🏴🇪🇺🇺🇦✊ (@bankaudits1) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I tried to get help but didn’t get through to anyone just a text sent to my mobile telling me how to fix it but no joy. Checked the forums and turns out I’m not alone and the upgrade is rubbish so just stuck it in the cupboard.. hopeless!
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Just said it would be back on by 1230. It’s not … paying a fortune (way above the odds!) a month for service I’m not getting. New contract with another provider incoming.
-
The Bar Fly (@thebarfly) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia It claims intermittent issues. Mine has been totally dead for the past two days. I appreciate there is nothing you can do. It means when that is fixed and I still have my issue, I’ll have to start again to report then patiently wait till they can be bothered sending someone.
-
Derek Scott (@DegsyScott) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland@benjitindz @virginmedia To be fair, the speed is the best option and I’m on 250mbps whereas the best I’d get on ADSL is 10-34mbps. Agreed, customer service is worse than a RyanAir equivalent
-
David Fyvie (@thefyvies) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia It’s been horrific for the last 4-5 days although today is by far the worst.
-

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Dave NerdyGeek (@DT_NerdyGeek) reportedIt'd be good if @virginmedia treated a customer, who's been with them for over 15 years, like a customer who has been with them for over 15 years. I have had the same hub since 2016! I should not have to sign up to a £120 a month plan just to get an upgrade on 10 year old tech.
-
Jebsy (@Jebsy40) reported@colinmufc2 I have been kept on hold and passed around while trying to cancel out of contract services by peoole who don't understand that others have principles and can do without or pay more for better service. Some people just want change @VirginMedia, not 50 minutes of bs and retentions.
-
A.Brown (@_DundeePerfect_) reported@virginmedia Read things accurately I never said that I do. I would not be mad enough to think I can run a Game and Stream a Picture in 4K using wifi... I don't use wifi in the house at all, TVs and PC are wired, only my Mobile connects to wifi but only to save Data when at Home.
-
Big Bobby Campbell (@BigBobbyCampbe1) reported@DavidPaintdw @virginmedia Just browsing different packages as mine has run out with my provider. Won’t be touching these now - seems a lot and poor contract agreements.
-
Andy Nicholls 🫧⚒️✝️ (@andy_nicks60) reported@virginmedia Haha what a crap company trying to palm stuff off to customers that they don’t want as opposed to accommodating them, good riddance hello Sky
-
Mo (@Notts52) reported@virginmedia DM about what? From my post you have my details, the situation that repeats and repeats and repeats. None of this happened until VM decided that you would make changes for better security by having the VMO2 p'word. Is this problem just us or are others affected? #virginmedia #O2
-
Kevin (@1kevin010) reported@virginmedia My broadband is down, bn15 area, service status problem in my area, can you confirm please
-
Neil Skivington (@glentfc27) reported@virginmedia That's all well and good but everyone is paying for a service......which we aren't getting presently.
-
Sam Rees (@SamReesO) reported@Keiran_Mark @StephenP311275 @virginmedia Yeah I know but it doesn’t always work out that way. Especially when watching live sports like F1. They only give you highlights not the full programme. Actually just found out you can get SkyQ if you call them. But point is their customer care is no better than Virgin now.
