James Smith 🏴🇮🇹🇿🇦 (@SobukweScozia) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia BTW. It’s not an ‘intermittent’ issue - I’ve had no service at all for 18 hours, and what exactly does ‘taking us a little longer than usual’ to fix actually mean?
-
Shirley Monteith (@lethalshirl) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Broadband is intermittent & says connection is unstable. I’ve done all checks. Also my remote for V6 box is not working & can’t pair the new remote with the TiVo box - light doesn’t go off & remote doesn’t beep. I’d like someone to come & look at both.
-
Louise Hamilton (@louham74) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland@virginmedia your customer service is shocking! A sure way to loose customers 🤬🤬🤬
-
The Bar Fly (@thebarfly) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia It claims intermittent issues. Mine has been totally dead for the past two days. I appreciate there is nothing you can do. It means when that is fixed and I still have my issue, I’ll have to start again to report then patiently wait till they can be bothered sending someone.
-
Effie Fenton (@effiefenton) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia it would be a great idea if you could save priority installation slots for those in greatest need, like those with disabilities who need a phone line installed for a telecare service. So they don't have to wait a month. Just a thought.
-
diandrick (@ladyracer70) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Thanks for asking. An operator will call me back tomorrow, as it’s part of an ongoing three week saga. I’m so disappointed as I’ve been a loyal VM (originally Telewest) customer for around 30 years. Remaining hopeful 🙃
-
Patrick McCarthy (@PatMcCarthy37) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@AndyHarrison123 @virginmedia Help desk pretty much admitted it. Said suspicious activity. No doubt me constantly changing my password. Suggested fix within 5-days. Said they would email me when done!!!! First noticed it about a week ago. Galling when you get the followup marketing text.
-
Ally (@Nowhereman91) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland@virginmedia a want to upgrade my account but your site hasn't let me view my options in over a week and I can't get through on the phone. Please help.

-
Alli (@Alli3Fifer) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland@virginmedia It will be interesting to know what ofcoms view is of virgin continuing to sell a service that has been known not to be working since at least Oct. Is it not an option to go back to a standard phone line rather than VOIP for vulnerable customers??
-
Alli (@Alli3Fifer) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland@virginmedia Quite simply No. They are in mid 70s and tbh we just need the issue fixed. Mum is awaiting a call from the hospital & is concerned and stressed they won’t be able to get her as she hasn’t had use of the number she is has had since 1989 for over a week!! My Dad is just stressed
-

lostinleith 🇺🇦 (@neillhope) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@vmbusiness your internet is so down in EH5 even your outage checker is down!
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I am on the phone right now and like I’ve said. The service I am receiving is disgusting. 40 minutes call and to be told that in a #CostOfLivingCrisis you want £650+ to disconnect a service. Must’ve been robbers you merged with as this is criminal behaviour.
-
Laura Barbour (@dreamingisfree) reported from Bo’ness, Scotlandservice agent who tells me an appointment is scheduled for the 15th November. Shall I laugh or scream? 7 weeks with no WiFi? @virginmedia (2)
-
Patrick McCarthy (@PatMcCarthy37) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia I have still not heard from you other than to be told that the email account I can no longer access, is not associated with the account we've had with you for 25 years. Am I supposed to just accept this? How do I escalate a complaint?

Alan Roberts (@AlanRob68902430) reported@shenry1972 @virginmedia @skytv Same with me 22 ish years, no call to try keep a customer just threats of charges if I don't post there router
-
Ravi Pal (@ravipal1214) reportedYour agent kept asking what resolution I wanted, then offered £5. Twice I was reminded how cheap my package is — that others pay £50-60, that pods cost £10-15 elsewhere, that I’m getting them free. I didn’t set the price. A discount on a service that doesn’t work is still service that doesn’t work. Then I was told no manager or grievance contact exists, and that I should cancel. @virginmedia — who owns this?
-
Kev (@victor50) reported@virginmedia So, 2 days, yes 2 days and the internet is down yet again. You have a very serious issue to sort out. You should be paying me to have your internet.

Ali Dalton (@alidalton) reportedIn 2017 I was the first designer at a UK fintech startup now valued at $100m+, with 500+ employees across 60 countries. It was just me, two founders, and two others in a room in London. The work wasn't a redesign. It was branding and the early flows for a payments platform. Nobody in that room called it design strategy. It was five people deciding how the product should work before there was a product. Then I spent almost a decade in the corporate world. Citibank, Mercedes, NatWest, Virgin Media. Products used by 50M+ people. £11M NPV on one project. That world taught me systems thinking, rigour, how to make a decision that survives fifteen stakeholders and a compliance review. It also taught me that six months to ship a signup flow is not a law of physics. It's a byproduct of the org chart. Most funded founders assume those two things come as a package. That if you want big company craft you have to accept big company timelines. You don't. The thinking travels. The process doesn't have to. I didn't leave because the work was bad. It was the best training I could have asked for. I left because I wanted the room of five again. Take everything those companies taught me and run it my way. No six week kickoff. No deck to justify a deck. A way founders can actually work with. So I started my studio last year. 5+ projects since across Fintech, publishing, agri-tech, and two founders launching their brands from zero. It's graft. But it's my graft now. If you're funded, building, and the product works but the numbers don't - that's the exact problem I spend my days on.
-
Paul Tee (@Nokkapie) reported@virginmedia Oh ive just had a chat with your customer services and they were not just useless but they lied! Claiming my bill increase was a contractual price rise which is utter nonsense seeing my actual pre contract I AGREED to has the price rises April 2027!
-
Emily Atkins (@bahallathegreat) reported@virginmedia It was taken up by a carpet fitter and never relayed it so angry at that and I never had anyone to look to see if everything was running ok
-
Scottt Kirkwoodd (@2gurlys1kupp) reported@jokewapo @O2 @virginmedia Mate how bad is the 02 signal up our way now! Phoned them to see if there was an issue and it's something to do with the mast
-
Lord Ryan Mehrabany-Burnett (@Ryanishistory) reported@virginmedia we are due to have an engineer come out on Monday to look at the new box and remote which you said we had to have and doesn’t work. We have received a text message that if someone over 18 isn’t in, you will fine us £25. Great customer service.
-
Ron Rosenhead (@ronrosenhead) reportedHey @virginmedia - yet ANOTHER outage HA54ED. How many more will there be? My elderly mother in law had no TV for 10 days recently. You gave her compensation. How about proper service? Not good enough. Please contact me.
