OMF (@exolon) reported@FractalDoctor I called Virgin Media the other day and had to spend 5 minutes shouting slowly at an almost useless AI, before being passed to the loudest call centre in India where they tried to upsell me a mobile phone plan before accepting my instruction to end a broadband service. Greed.

IFB Media (@IFBMedia) reportedThis is the problem LOI TV and Virgin Media can’t solve on their own. Both have done more for this league in a few years than RTÉ managed in decades. Let that sit for a second. A streaming service and a commercial broadcaster have outworked the national broadcaster on its own game. RTÉ isn’t short on money. It’s short on will. Every household in this country funds that broadcaster through the licence fee. League of Ireland clubs are part of that country too. Yet the domestic game still gets treated like an inconvenience, squeezed out whenever something bigger comes along… That’s not neutrality. That’s a broadcaster showing you exactly where its priorities sit. And it ain’t with covering our Domestic Football teams irrespective of whether it’s home, abroad or both. Other platforms shouldn’t be doing RTÉ’s job for it. They shouldn’t have to. A national broadcaster shows up for the national game. Consistently. Not when it suits the schedule. Until RTÉ treats League of Ireland like it matters, everyone else will keep doing the job it was funded to do. That’s not a compliment to the others. It’s an indictment of RTÉ. This is exactly why Irish football needs a genuine TV deal, not scraps of coverage from whoever happens to show up. The prize money isn’t there. The funding model is fragile. A real broadcast deal is how you finally finance this league properly. Until that exists, moments like this keep repeating.

aldo (@ukaldo2) reported@virginmedia The service has now been maintained but on us to ensure that's the case. You shouldn't have had one of your sales reps pressure my mother night after night without checking a service could be provided within your budget
-
🇺🇦 Clive Davies #FBPE 🔶🇬🇧🇪🇺🇭🇰 (@CliveDaviesUK) reported@O2 There’s really no point as nothing ever changes! And when Virgin Media goes down (which happens far too often) I have zero means of communication. The price hike was the last straw really - time to move to another provider.

A.Brown (@_DundeePerfect_) reported@paulveness1974 @virginmedia I think that many peoples problems stem from using wifi, everything I have connected to the Internet, TVs and PC are hard wired, i never have a problem. I remember I used the Smart TV features once, never used it since, I press somethings it's instant not sat waiting to load.
