Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
@virginmedia Well as usual you are not proactive to customers informing them of a lack of service. You instead are always reactive when someone complains and slow to compensate for loss of service. Your frequency of drop outs in service are held as secretive.
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
@virginmedia Very interesting as I was told £216.11 for each service (TV, BB, Phone). I asked is this a total of over £600 and she said, “yea mamm, that is correct”. My response was purely to laugh. This conversation has happed in the last 15 minutes. Absolutely despicable!

Hector MacQueen (@MacqueenHector) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
@virginmedia, I have been trying to contact you for 3 weeks in order to cancel my TV contract. Email, phone, WhatsApp and your app all lead into frustrating brick walls. Kindly contact me, quickly.

Degsy (@DegsyScott) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland
Great… working from home and @virginmedia broadband goes down again. It’s become very erratic service in the last 12 months… what the hell as we paying premium prices for fast fibre if it can’t be reliable… with more price rises ahead
-
Louise Hamilton (@louham74) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland
@virginmedia I just phoned again and was told they cannot order for me. So close to just cancelling this shoddy service 🤬

Jette Goldie ♿ 🏴@wolfette@mastodon.social (@JetteUk) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
@virginmedia broadband in EH11 is up and down like a yo-yo. More down than up. (like my attempts with a yo-yo)

Darren Obbard is on mastodon (@DarrenObbard) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
@virginmedia Yes. Yesterday. Which is why our phone doesn't work. No adapter, despite being assured it would be sent.
-
Dave (@savcabb) reported from Falkirk, Scotland
Sick of @virginmedia broadband. Constantly goes down for no reason. WiFi glitches but of course you phone and it’s never there fault Not as if it’s cheap either at over £50 a month #timeforachange #frustrated
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
@virginmedia I am on the phone right now and like I’ve said. The service I am receiving is disgusting. 40 minutes call and to be told that in a #CostOfLivingCrisis you want £650+ to disconnect a service. Must’ve been robbers you merged with as this is criminal behaviour.
-
David Fyvie (@thefyvies) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
@virginmedia It’s been horrific for the last 4-5 days although today is by far the worst.
-
Nicholas Cross (@wfastronomer) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
@andrewducker I did have two rather stressful conversations with Virginmedia a couple of months back. In the first one they offered me a terrible offer and said it was the best and moving took ages. They did this in a slow way, always trying to divert the conversation. 1/

Louise Hamilton (@louham74) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland
@virginmedia your customer service is shocking! A sure way to loose customers 🤬🤬🤬
-
Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
@virginmedia more problems with Virgin, their internet and phone service in EH 14 has had problems for two weeks, no refund for the loss of service though. I was cut off today after their call handler could not answer the simplest of questions on an overcharged bill.
-
diandrick (@ladyracer70) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
@virginmedia Thanks for asking. An operator will call me back tomorrow, as it’s part of an ongoing three week saga. I’m so disappointed as I’ve been a loyal VM (originally Telewest) customer for around 30 years. Remaining hopeful 🙃
-
♡ (@D3borah1404) reported from Livingston, Scotland
@virginmedia Yes!!! Constantly. Haven't had selected channels now for over 2 weeks and WiFi is abysmal! Seems to fall on deaf ears as the issue is never resolved ! Certainly won't be renewing my contract with yous if its not resolved anytime soon!
-
Scottish (@Scottish720) reported from Skinflats, Scotland
@virginmedia I don’t know how you can send out a letter that says our prices are going up but won’t effect you till the end of the of your current price fix /contact then we called up to enquire about it to find out it would actually go up in may absolutely ridiculous
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
I was left without service for a week with multiple lies, promises of calls that didn’t happen and appalling customer service … you promise compensation of a month for free, the next you state £650 for disconnection. We are in a coat of living crisis you idiots! @virginmedia
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland
Finally something positive to say about @virginmedia following a call from Callum at the “executive team” providing the level of current service I would expect from a such a huge company! Perhaps the skills of good customer service need to be a CPD exercise for the call centres!
-
Billy Doyle (@wcd07) reported from Livingston, Scotland
@biker_Ian @Craids Think I'll be changing no. My @virginmedia still down. Shocking service 🤬

@virginmedia Any reason as to why my TV cant connect to my home wifi but can connect to my hotspot? Tried both the extender and the router itself. Also, never got any credit for the days my wifi was down, so that was a lie
-
Thom Collyer (@collyer_thomas) reported
@virginmedia The issues stopped on the 12th but started again the night of the 13th. It’s the same issue. We’ve had to book another engineer as you cancelled the one for the 14th again when you thought you had fixed the issue.
-
Hayley Cartwright (@haykate) reported
@virginmedia Nope. We didn't get hold of anyone. The whole thing is a shambles. Had an engineer booked a couple of months back & then your company decided to cancel 'because everything was fixed'. It wasn't & never has been. Shocking. If people want2 #stayconnected they need to look elsewhere

-
Sir Badger (@1SillyBadger) reported
@virginmedia I've read this before and it still doesn't address the issue of the talking EPG that offcom said should be included. 3 years of feet dragging and i'm getting sick of it. i'm paying for services i can't use. #discrimination
-
Mark Daniels (@ImMarkDaniels) reported
@virginmedia why since November has the service for broadband been shocking on an evening? Without fail, everything is on "go slow" Fire Stick is stuck and wants me to find an internet connection, Macbook nearly becomes a door wedge. Please, an evenings is a time for reeeelaxing.
-
scooter (@thelocalscooter) reported
@virginmedia and as part of our new contract if we don't receive the speeds that you advertise or half of what is advertised, which is the minimum then we have the right to cancel our contract early which will have to be the consideration at this rate!
-
Catherine allen (@Catheri53289496) reported
@virginmedia This for the next 17 months. I want to give notice and go with another provider, it is unacceptable, Virgin is not providing me what they promised or a reliable service. I am hot spotting from my phone.
