@virginmedia I know it’s not your fault. But no one takes responsibility for resolving customer issues.

  • Mentalmelodic Anya Kinsella (Anya Fay) (@Mentalmelodic) reported from Rugby, England

@virginmedia ongoing issue for months. Engineer finally sent last Monday. Still issues today. On hold for 54 mins before line goes dead. Ring back to be offered a link of no use and told lines are closed. Really helpful. Thanks.

  • russsanders2 russ sanders (@russsanders2) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia customer service not answering phone. How you expect to keep customers.

  • DiscoEquinox Equinox Disco (@DiscoEquinox) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia @stephen_twitt Good luck calling that customer service number. @virginmedia should try calling themselves

  • Mentalmelodic Anya Kinsella (Anya Fay) (@Mentalmelodic) reported from Rugby, England

@virginmedia I've tried to sign in, but I'm not using the correct login details and when I complete the 'forgotten password/username' form it says the page is broken.

  • Mentalmelodic Anya Kinsella (Anya Fay) (@Mentalmelodic) reported from Rugby, England

@virginmedia That's never been offered to us when we've called. We've spent £60+ buying 2 boosters of our own, whilst telephone operators have assured us that our current router and plan should be enough to cover.

  • DiscoEquinox Equinox Disco (@DiscoEquinox) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Yes. Want to keep my broadband service only. It amazes me that you can get a response in social media almost instantly but can’t get a response elsewhere for love nor money

  • Helenfaerieart Helenfaerieart (@Helenfaerieart) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia random phone call from your tech support, issues with my router apparently, but, didn't know my name, address or account number...I guess this is phishing and fake?

  • ChantelleEJ Chantelle (@ChantelleEJ) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Thank you. It came back on yesterday AM but was out since Thurs PM. It was always flashing green and early Sat after running a test it said it was a network issue. I was luckily not working at home on Fri. It was difficult to find out if it was me or the network for a long time.

  • Mentalmelodic Anya Kinsella (Anya Fay) (@Mentalmelodic) reported from Rugby, England

@virginmedia We have. I will have to call again as we have done all the generic things on the website and on the phone. It's a long standing issue. The signal just doesn't seem strong enough, despite upgrading our package.

  • leemcrae76 Lee McRae (@leemcrae76) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Internet is down again in NN5. The service here is so unreliable. Can you please pass this over to your complaints team as a matter of urgency and ask them to DM me please?

  • DiscoEquinox Equinox Disco (@DiscoEquinox) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia @virginhelp The problem is with getting through on the phone or live chat. It’s very easy to add or upgrade services but god help you if you want to remove any services or leave. I was on hold for over two hours last night only to be cut off. I’ve been connected to live chat since 17:43 0901

  • Mentalmelodic Anya Kinsella (Anya Fay) (@Mentalmelodic) reported from Rugby, England

@virginmedia However, the connection was slow and ripped several times whilst I was working on Google suite for work.

  • Mentalmelodic Anya Kinsella (Anya Fay) (@Mentalmelodic) reported from Rugby, England

@virginmedia is there a problem with connection in Rugby? Internet dropped during lesson, 13 mins ago. Reboot not working.

  • leemcrae76 Lee McRae (@leemcrae76) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Yes I did, just this morning. The system diagnosed a fault and asked me to reset my router. I did and it started working again (as it always does tbh) and has since gone down again. I would like to know how to book an Engineer to call please ASAP! Thanks

  • ChantelleEJ Chantelle (@ChantelleEJ) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Thanks KT. Unfortunately it’s still not working and I have tried the online service checker and the number, it says no faults. Is the internet problem linked to the on demand problem? I’ve been out at work for 12 hours so it’s been like this all day :(

  • OllieToogood Ollie Toogood (@OllieToogood) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia why is it impossible to speak with anyone who can help? I keep wasting hours of my time on hold to no avail

  • DiscoEquinox Equinox Disco (@DiscoEquinox) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@richardbranson @Virgin_Orbit Any chance of getting my virgin media sorted. I hope the service on your space craft is better out wise people will be paying through the nose to come back to earth. #sortyourshitout

  • Mentalmelodic Anya Kinsella (Anya Fay) (@Mentalmelodic) reported from Rugby, England

@virginmedia trying to log into account. Won't accept details. When I complete the 'forgotten password/username' form it forwards me to a page that says 'Ooops, something' s broken'. No DM function for you, either.

  • NeilM_100 Neil Merritt (@NeilM_100) reported from Rugby, England

@virginmedia trying to get in touch to change TV package details. I've signed up to a deal for one price but had a confirmation email with a much higher price on. I need to talk to someone! I've tried the text service but even that won't connect me now.

  • Mikeo56977865 Mike O'Brien🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💙 #WalesCarersRegister (@Mikeo56977865) reported

@Carer49 @virginmedia Didn't even need to speak with anyone. Just chose the option to change/cancel plan and automatically got offered the discount.

  • FinancialBear 🕷Financial Bear 3.5% (@FinancialBear) reported

Guys @virginmedia no longer a joke! WiFi STILL down, no phone number that works on your site, no Live Chat section, this really is rubbish. HOW do I contact a technician to fix the problem???

  • KENY4N Ash Patel 🇰🇪 🇬🇧 (@KENY4N) reported

@virginmedia Hi. I requested the address move on 06/01 and these calls have been since 21/01. Unless you have had the technical fault for weeks then this is being used as an excuse. Please DM me for my account no. I want to cancel my contract but I won't waste any more time on the phone.

  • cefafalopodo Fernando Á. Fernández-Álvarez (@cefafalopodo) reported

@DrShmoo I had Eir and Virgin Media. While Virgin Media was terrible, Eir was absolutely awful.

  • tantePip Corine Kuijpers (@tantePip) reported

Trying to cancel @virginmedia, and the computer (!!) offered me a discount of exactly the same amount as the price increase. Nice try. Still cancelling. Same package is £30 a month cheaper elsewhere.
