When is @virginmedia going to be called to order by authorities. How is possible they get away with customers on hold for hours, broadband service levels vastly below power and to rub salt in, @virginmedia think it is acceptable to increase their fees? Enough is enough, @CISASUK!

@JAcheson_Eng @virginmedia I’m sure they all have issues at some point although I’ve had Sky Fibre Broadband and it’s been very good and the service support over the phone has been really excellent. I had an issue recently and it was sorted in 30 minutes over the phone.

  • peterhkirk
Pete Kirk (@peterhkirk) reported from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I accept more customers are working from home including myself however after a year I would expect a company such as @virginmedia to adapt and do everything within their powers to improve their service, not worsen!!??

Ben tried contacting @virginmedia because someone has ****** up our account during our house move. He was ignored and could hear the girl typing in the background. He tried saying hello repetitively but no one responded. Not acceptable to treat your customers this way!!!!

  • radiogeordie

@virginmedia could do with hiring a load of people out of work to work from home. The call wait time is horrendous. About the 10th attempt to get a problem resolved...

  • kevwgs
    kevws (@kevwgs) reported

@PeteUK7 @virginmedia Awful. When my Nan died Barclaycard wrote and said she had to pay her bill. I'd already told them she'd died, but rang them again only to be told "we still need to speak to her". I replied "well you'd better know a good Medium because her ashes are in my hallway". Utter idiocy.

  • itstrisha_innit
    F’real (@itstrisha_innit) reported

@JamieGBarry @virginmedia Call them and threaten to leave. The Retention/Sales Team will cut you a deal. But don’t get sucked into taking the VM movie bundle - the movies they offer are crap.

  • HamsterSick
    MerlinJ (@HamsterSick) reported

I absolutely detest @virginmedia I crave the end of the contract this year. Dog **** service.

  • racenerd2
    racenerd2 (@racenerd2) reported

@virginmedia @JamieGBarry @virginmedia This really is a terrible response. The price goes up because the price goes up. Seriously? We were with you for years, but got sick of the constant increases and the depressingly asymmetric customer interface... trivial to move to a higher cost contract, but reducing the cost involves sitting on hold then speaking to an overseas call centre. This business model screams desperation. It's customer hostile. Please, wake up and pack it in. We're now with Toob, Β£29/mo for 900M+ fibre. We ported our phone number to a VoIP service for about Β£2.99/mo and don't miss the ad-stuffed cable TV channels at all.

  • wadannatt
    Wayne Dannatt (@wadannatt) reported

@virginmedia instead of sending a text message stating that services will be fixed soon, how about giving a timeframe? My Internet has been out all day, you've just increased prices yet again, this is the second time in six months and last time it took you two days to fix it!

  • marypaul32
    mary32 (@marypaul32) reported

@virginmedia is this how you treat your vulnerable customers? A 72 year old man has been left with no WiFi after builders cut through a virgin cable. He spent an hour on the phone and virgin won't come to fix it till 10th June. He can't make nhs appt as must be online.

  • Old_Motherduck
    Old Motherduck (@Old_Motherduck) reported

@virginmedia @PeteUK7 that's terrible from Virgin Media look after your past and present customers

  • WeHearYou2020
    WeHearYou (@WeHearYou2020) reported

@virginmedia @rafthemaster They offer an awful service. When there was a national outage a fee weeks ago our main box coincidentally went off and stopped working. Spent nearly two hours on the phone waiting and then trying to explain our problem. We were promised a new box. Still waiting. Shocking service.

"There's a broadband issue in your area" Aye, no **** @virginmedia. But there was no issues till your engineer turned up at lunchtime and started fiddling with the cabinets! 😩

  • Welsh_Villa
    WelshVilla (@Welsh_Villa) reported

@JamieGBarry @virginmedia Once our contract is up we are off from virgin media. Terrible company
