  • BelfastBooks Belfast B❄️❄️ks (@BelfastBooks) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

Well done to @virginmedia’s off shore support team for taking a loyal customer of 24 years, treating them so insensitively that they’ve now cancelled their contract and will go elesewhere for phone, broadband and TV.

  • adammccalden Adam McCalden (@adammccalden) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia since my virgin mobile UK signal has been shifted from piggyback Vodafone to @O2 it has been a complete disaster, constant signal dropping, constant WiFi calling cutting. This is before my account has been transferred to O2. Complete and utter rubbish

  • ASMagency @AgentSWhelan (@ASMagency) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I’ve been on the phone 3 hours already to try and cancel my broadband/tv services and had my mobile phone cut off. Horrendous the time it takes to cancel

  • SwissKrono_JH Johnny Hamilton (@SwissKrono_JH) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Don’t be so ridiculous. The app crashed you couldn’t even login. Utter shambles

  • jai_dee Jim Doran (@jai_dee) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Just the one channel. The picture is jerking and freezing and has been for a good week now. As I said every other channel appears to be perfectly fine, it's just a problem with @wchannel

  • Garlic_Icon WTF! (@Garlic_Icon) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia "aren't guaranteed?" They've been terrible from day one. After 6 months as a customer you clearly overpromise on your capabilities. My speeds at the moment are probably no better than dial up

  • tomdkeating Tom Keating (@tomdkeating) reported from Carryduff, Northern Ireland

@Seanlpmccabe @virginmedia It was down early Thursday morning, 10:30am(ish), no snow then. Very poor that both TV and BB are down for so long.

  • Garlic_Icon WTF! (@Garlic_Icon) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

I see I'm not the only unsatisfied customer of @virginmedia out there. Twitter full of disgruntled customers who are effectively being defrauded paying for a service they don't get.

  • larmour_andre Andrew Larmour (@larmour_andre) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Sky Sports app “device limit reached” even though it has not been. Can not register/de-register devices on virgin app and it advises “contact your service provider” - which is yourselves.

  • GarethOHare3 Gareth O’Hare (@GarethOHare3) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Oh for many a useless hour. We then spotted engineers outside. He said he wasn’t here to install internet, but to find Toby box. I said it’s there, someone dug it up 3 weeks ago. He said someone couldn’t find it during the week. Short story, it’s found please help

  • beezlebum Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@raycasey2003 Delicious! Having just spent six months of my life battling @virginmedia for the bare minimum compensation I was entitled to and witnessing their atrocious 'customer service', this has delighted me. I know he doesn't own Vigin Media anymore, but he created the monster.

  • lab_animal Margaret Dunlop (@lab_animal) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia any idea when the issues will be resolved in the BT14 area ? The fault status on the app is still saying due fixed at 10am !

  • BelfastBooks Belfast B❄️❄️ks (@BelfastBooks) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

Well done to @virginmedia’s off shore support team for taking a loyal customer of 24 years, treating them so insensitively that they’ve now cancelled their contract and will go elsewhere for phone, broadband and TV.

  • DavidPMet David Phelan (@DavidPMet) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

.@virginmedia please can you stop calling me every day? Long term customer offered £45 per month renewal, got double the speed for half the price with @TalkTalk 👏🏼 Since then, repeated calls offering £20 per month package, should have rewarded loyalty to begin with! @Ofcom

  • HarbourLord Harbour 💚 (@HarbourLord) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia you have the worst laid out website. All I'm trying to do is speak to someone on chat to figure out why I have zero upload speed right now and honestly thinking of just cancelling my broadband contract because your site is so unfriendly for customers to navigate.

  • tomdkeating Tom Keating (@tomdkeating) reported from Carryduff, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia any idea why Broadband and TV are down all day today in BT8?

  • Garlic_Icon WTF! (@Garlic_Icon) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia No, I never thought I needed to, I thought the whole point was that's it's wireless broadband. Connecting something and getting a fast reading will make no difference to myself and my family as we struggle to stream or game on our wireless devices.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

@virginmedia Hub 3. Please can you fix ASAP as I need for work

  • DEPtones 🇩🇪 DEPtones ⚒️ (@DEPtones) reported

@amsquared @virginmedia This is happening more and more and the inability to fix it promptly is just not good enough. More money wasted on something we can't use. Times are tough and people look forward to these matches, and pay money that is hard to come by. Shameful from inept Virgin.

  • paul_damien Paul Damien (He/Him) (@paul_damien) reported

@virginmedia It won't let me sign in to register my complain........ FFS

  • DegsyScott Derek Scott (@DegsyScott) reported

I really don’t know why I stick with @virginmedia ... been using message service on app and now it’s logged me out and I can’t get back in to retrieve the latest message. Their customer service is the @Ryanair of the ISP world... aka.. not fit for purpose

  • jillheartsnyc Jill Robb (@jillheartsnyc) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@itvhub is the most infuriating catch up service - super slow, buffering, forced adverts, no fast forward / rewind (that works).. via @virginmedia anyway. ..needs a serious update

@AlastairGodwin @virginmedia Can't even login to 'My Virgin Media' account on the website 🙃

  • gurstacey Gareth Stacey (@gurstacey) reported

@BruceysMags @virginmedia Probably wishful thinking. Loads of Virgin users complaining. Virgin have acknowledged there is a problem but no mention of a fix date/time. Keep tweeting them - power of social media

  • heritage1944 Mark Pearson (@heritage1944) reported

@virginmedia My BB is so unreliable & so is Virgin cust service 150. Have tried calling only to be on hold, transfer then cut off. My next DD end of month is cancelled! Virgin already broke contract & I have tried my best to discuss. As an essential worker not wasting more time.

  • jbeez1989 JoshB (@jbeez1989) reported

@AlastairGodwin @virginmedia Must be a server outage. Same problem here.

  • tonywiseman1976 Tony Wiseman (@tonywiseman1976) reported from Ilford, England

@TheEmmaGoodwin @virginmedia I left this company after lockdown 1.0. It’s a pain getting a new service provider BUT it’s worth it in the end.
