Just had a call supposedly from @virginmedia telling me my internet has been hacked. He asked me if I had a computer, I answered, why ? He said all my information is being downloaded by scammers but he could guide through how to fix it.I said 'fix what'? He hung up. Weird.

@virginmedia Thanks - however under “if you don’t feel your complaint has been resolved” this again refers to speaking to a manager and if one isn’t available they will call you back. We were told it was not possible for managers to make outgoing calls! Which is correct?

@virginmedia So we can’t easily escalate to a manager the way you first implied? We will raise a complaint which will now include the fact that customer service is inadequate while you work from home. This stress is not helpful while I am pregnant - this should have been easy to resolve

@virginmedia We can still phone up within 28 days apparently. Part of the issue was we couldn’t escalate the original call to a manager which is ridiculous. What’s the point of phoning again? It seems the only option available is to stop being a customer as soon as the contract is done.

Hi @virginmedia, how do I speak to an actual person at Virign Media about a fault with my Hub 3? When I call automated service says restart Hub then hangs up on me. This does not solve the problem.

@virginmedia hello folks, I do now have a minor issue - my new Hub 3.0 has a flashing green power light and solid green WiFi light, this has been the case for a few hours now despite being told (in a text message) I had received a signal and all wires are firmly connected?

Hey @virginmedia - we are not at all satisfied at the resolution from the complaints procedure and we will 100% not be renewing our contract with you. Shame you couldn’t do the right thing to resolve this issue - it would have resulted in a better long term outcome for you.

@virginmedia @richardbranson I am unable to get through on your phone line. Why can I upgrade instantly online but unable to leave. As a media company are you really going to make me write a letter? Can you provide the average time it take to answer your customer service calls, is over an 1hr acceptable?

@andreweverard @virginmedia I now think the best solution is to write to Virgin Media, Sunderland, SR43 4AA. Send the letter signed for. Given up on the phone and whatsapp as have well over 200 messages in the WA thread. Always dies at the end.
