@virginmedia in the past few months in the L23 area your service has been nothing short of shocking…. As someone working from home & needing WiFi to work I’ve recently decided to leave, unfortunately my replacement service can’t be installed in May though. What went wrong?

@robert_mackley @virginmedia Thanks for that. Need to do some serious thinking about whether to stay with @virginmedia at end of this contract as this experience has been very, very poor indeed. Communications have been awful (apart from one person that at least appeared to empathise). Been with them years

@entrustTMF @virginmedia I've done a postcode check and it says intermittent problems. My daughter says if it doesn't improve she can go back to her flat as it isn't too far away. We are in London. We signed up for virgin party as they were to pay £50 incentive to use & my father for both of us signing

You only know how sitty a service provider relly is when something goes wrong. Was with @virginmedia for over 5 years. Now that i decided to leave they have charged me for 2 months with me already with another provider. After complaining they take 2 months to refund you and now that i sent them their router they somehow misplaced it and charged me 40 quid saying i didnt send it (even thought i had a call last week where i gave them the receipt) If you are their customer.. Get out as soon as possible and remember to block the direct debits. They cannot be trusted with your money.

@orange 151.217.0.0/16 AS62016 AS198198 AS42987 AS22879 AS199524 AS62016: Virgin Media 🇬🇧 AS198198: Telefonica Global Solutions 🇪🇸 AS42987: Virgin Media 🇬🇧 AS22879: Sirus, Inc 🇺🇸 AS199524: Gcore 🇳🇱 Location is Chicago. However, this case is slightly different. 151.217.0.0/16 is a "bogon", which means the network is not assigned to anyone at this time (and so nobody should be using it). After the first announcement, new (presumably fake) carriers were inserted into the BGP path as a decoy. The general modus operandi suggests that this is the same gang in action
