@virginmedia Very interesting as I was told £216.11 for each service (TV, BB, Phone). I asked is this a total of over £600 and she said, “yea mamm, that is correct”. My response was purely to laugh. This conversation has happed in the last 15 minutes. Absolutely despicable!

@virginmedia I am on the phone right now and like I’ve said. The service I am receiving is disgusting. 40 minutes call and to be told that in a #CostOfLivingCrisis you want £650+ to disconnect a service. Must’ve been robbers you merged with as this is criminal behaviour.

@virginmedia Just said it would be back on by 1230. It’s not … paying a fortune (way above the odds!) a month for service I’m not getting. New contract with another provider incoming.

I was left without service for a week with multiple lies, promises of calls that didn’t happen and appalling customer service … you promise compensation of a month for free, the next you state £650 for disconnection. We are in a coat of living crisis you idiots! @virginmedia

@virginmedia Yes. Yesterday. Which is why our phone doesn't work. No adapter, despite being assured it would be sent.

@virginmedia Since yesterday afternoon. I was working so not entirely sure but approx 24 hours. £160 a month to be without even “free” channels. I am aware nothing is without fault but the poor customer service and lack of ability to locate/tell us what the issue is, is appalling.

@andrewducker I did have two rather stressful conversations with Virginmedia a couple of months back. In the first one they offered me a terrible offer and said it was the best and moving took ages. They did this in a slow way, always trying to divert the conversation. 1/

@virginmedia Read my tweet. I have been sent a “resolution” already. Which advised to return the box/speak to online chat if further issues. As I have pointed out multiple times I have already returned the box. This is absolutely infuriating at this point.

@virginmedia I managed to find a phone number to call you. The message 'don't contact us unless you need to' isn't great is it! Follow up text asks me to rate VM on the basis of my interaction. Not fair is it. Not the help desk fault if everything else is so bad.

@virginmedia Sorry? Like my formal complaint - I’m unsure if you have read my tweet? I bought a box and returned the WiFi myself. Ombudsman time?

Finally something positive to say about @virginmedia following a call from Callum at the “executive team” providing the level of current service I would expect from a such a huge company! Perhaps the skills of good customer service need to be a CPD exercise for the call centres!

@virginmedia, I have been trying to contact you for 3 weeks in order to cancel my TV contract. Email, phone, WhatsApp and your app all lead into frustrating brick walls. Kindly contact me, quickly.

Trying to downgrade/cancel your @virginmedia is made harder than it ought to be! Perhaps of your customer service was better then I wouldn’t have made this request after all these years. Diabolical and shoddy! There was a time when I’d have only recommended them over competitors!

@virginmedia do you actually read formal complaints or are they just automated responses too?! For the second time the response does not answer the complaint at all?

@virginmedia Thanks for asking. An operator will call me back tomorrow, as it’s part of an ongoing three week saga. I’m so disappointed as I’ve been a loyal VM (originally Telewest) customer for around 30 years. Remaining hopeful 🙃

@Ofcom @virginmedia They only cover for loss of service for 48 hours which is absurd, they’re getting away with customers having no service for 24 hours, if I ordered steak & chips and paid for steak & chips, I would expect steak & chips, seemingly VM don’t see it this way! Thanks for the response!

@virginmedia @Peter1953 Thank you for the predictable response. I don't agree re the training. Talking to me as if I know nothing clearly isn't in the curriculum. I resent the way a couple of them spoke to me when I asked them to slow down when they were talking to me as they gabbled on. Oh well ho hum!
