@si1774 @DanRob86 @virginmedia No mate it's owned by Liberty Global which is why it goes up every year and the service gets worse. Mind you he takes a cut for using his name.

  • VMHolmes83 Vicki Holmes (@VMHolmes83) reported from Scunthorpe, England

@virginmedia shocking service from you, just been on the phone for over 50 mins trying to sort my shocking internet speed only to be cut off & no call back. Told nothing they can do and your checks show everything is fine. What am I paying £79 for when I’m not getting the service

  • andy_stones andy stones (@andy_stones) reported from Scunthorpe, England

@virginmedia Don’t know but a lot of people aren’t very happy with the service, drops out more than it’s in service, maybe a UPD issue on virgins system

  • Darren_Barton19 Darren Barton (@Darren_Barton19) reported from Crosby, England

@virginmedia I only have broadband. Can't get a signal on mobile. I am just fed up of the constant price rises £3.50 each year, we have been with you since it was NTL never had another internet provider, feel that loyal customers are taken for a ride.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jwr79 james ridley (@jwr79) reported

@virginmedia Oct 2020 had pretty good 4g signal at SY95HY, come back this week and the signal has gone. Your coverage checker says no signal, so we had it now we haven't. I thought you used EE which says good 4g signal. I'm confused by it all. 🤯

  • CefaiGary Gary Cefai (@CefaiGary) reported

@virginmedia No, I’ve received nothing, never never again will I use Virgin In fact I will definitely be moving my mobile contract ASAP. Also your compensation link is so easy NOT! As far as I’m concerned you will owe me compensation from the 29th of March as I’ve received nothing.

  • ididitathome Ian (@ididitathome) reported

@virginmedia Just another annoying point. There is a drive on for New customers the same package I have as just gone up. Now the drive is on for new customer at £24 for 18 months. You have seen the deal. Personally? I really think you should look after existing customer's

  • Kellyclay13 Kelly blue angel (@Kellyclay13) reported

@virginmedia I've spoke to them. They are saying it isn't the hub. The problem started when the whole package. TV and broadband. Was unplugged at the mains on Friday because the TV kept getting glitches xx

  • swmosquito Grimin@ll¥🇰🇳🇯🇲🇬🇧 (@swmosquito) reported

@virginmedia I have tried this at least 10 times to no resolve. Like I've previously said, I've been told by VM staff that it is installed regardless of how it's installed. I'm unable to escalate the issue, because according to VM the service is installed.

  • ellieturner1 Ellie Turner (@ellieturner1) reported

@virginmedia Yes tomorrow at 10am, can you please update your website to reflect these issues in the service status

  • PhilipJohnHunt Philip Hunt (@PhilipJohnHunt) reported

@virginmedia I pleaded with your call centre for help yesterday. I work within the nhs structure and explained in detail why I will not be at home for the next few months. Basically it's my tough luck as I'm in contract. Not to worry, it's only nearly £500 I'm throwing away!

  • RanaH004 Rana Haddad (@RanaH004) reported

@virginmedia It would be good to actually get a call back like I’ve been false promises several times. At least 2 compliant references logged with no follow up or action at all. Disappointing. I have several issues I’ve been trying to take up other than the lack of service!

  • LoveLaurelx Laurel Waldron (@LoveLaurelx) reported

@RanaH004 @virginmedia Yup unfortunately both their customer service and signal are notoriously bad. Had ‘super fast’ installed last summer; was super fast in the room next to the router, zero signal in the rest of the house as soon as that door shut though! Good luck!

  • swmosquito Grimin@ll¥🇰🇳🇯🇲🇬🇧 (@swmosquito) reported

@virginmedia Is it not possible for you to log it onto my account so that I can get it resolved. You as a company cannot think that having intermittent service for 7 months is acceptable.
