    @virginmedia Have been checking...but no fault reported in the area. The network logs show the T3 timeout error notice has been occurring regularly since my last technician visit. Also I note that my 5ghz network gets goo speed, however my 2.4ghz WiFi rarely gets better than 10mbs.

    In #mobile news, Virgin Mobile launched a new offer of 40GB of data, unlimited 📞 & unlimited texts for just €5p/m for five months for existing Virgin Media customers & just €20p/m for non customers. All on a 30-day, SIM-only plan. Not bad!

    @geekygirldawn @virginmedia Happened at my house a few months ago. Turned out a local farmer cut the fiber with a backhoe while trying to dig a trench. They fixed it, but didn’t acknowledge the outage until after it had been resolved...

    Everyone should seriously consider changing their virgin media passwords if they use it in another place (common sense really) but yall should consider finding another ISP until they finally fix this

    @VirginMediaIE Since moving to virgin media I don’t think I’ve ever had more than 2 bars of coverage! Sometimes it just knocks off which is very worrying especially if I’m in an area with no WiFi. I’m in Dublin City so and haven’t changed location so I don’t know what the problem is

    @virginmedia I wasn’t waiting to get through, the problem is related to communication skills, being able to listen to exactly the customer’s needs and being able to evaluate what is required, checking in with the customer to clarify needs- good listen and analysis needed

    Virgin Media your service is a joke. You are treating your customers as fools telling them there is no issue in the service when there clearly is. As soon as my contract is up we are out of this absolute nonsense. We got service back in Old Bawn for a few hours and now gone again

If there is an IT policy and parts of it are not generally enforced but an employer uses the strict terms of the policy to dismiss an employee, the employee could have their dismissal blocked, overturned or be compensated. There must be fairness and due process.

    @VirginMediaIE @SamiHaahtinen Ack, it totally makes sense to delay a page based on dependent service; but last time I recall it was a lot of time. This is one of many times my home is not affected by ESB outage, just the Virgin Media service. Anyway, now you know some affected homes don't lose power :)

    @virginmedia after this so called Intelligent WiFi, for thr first time my connection is horrible. Modem restarted several times, and had to connect to 4G to send this twitter.

    @virginmedia Thanks. This is a perennial problem. Someone with the appropriate authority should perhaps acknowledge that sensitive local equipment needs proper protection Fixing these boxes ad hoc & indefinitely is not a remedy. It's just sloppy & wasteful business practice #VirginMedia

    Here's a tip for @virginmedia, if you want your customers to upgrade their account don't have a non-native English speaker call from an overseas, noisy call centre. Also I will never pay a £70ish upgrade fee without reading all the details in an email first.

    @virginmedia Not really good enough is it? Look at your records, it’s relentless. Five years of poor service at a huge cost. No full fibre, old cables, one for internet, one for TV, no match of costs to new joiners, box on front of house installed and held together by cable ties. No joke.

    @virginmedia Alas still no internet. No visit from the engineers. So that's 4 times they've failed to appear. Customer Services where unable to give us a reason for this but, funnily enough, where able to tell us we couldn't cancel our contract without paying £160. I wonder wi OFCOM agree?
