@virginmedia We have and there were improvements made to the network yes. For most people these timeouts wouldn’t even be noticed but my day job is working in IT and we use VPN and each timeout is a disconnect so it’s very noticeable . Same with Microsoft Teams calls “Searching for network “

People of earth, never, ever, ever sign with @virginmedia they truly are the dung-beetles of service providers. I've had no Internet at home for days, and now after a literal hour on the phone, I'm told a technician will be sent next Tuesday. Utter shite peddlers.

Looks like I’ve to miss yet another college lecture because my wifi is not working. One of my neighbours rang virgin, they said it won’t be back until around 8pm, I need it at 6🙃this is happening far too often @virginmedia, paying 7 grand for a masters I can’t go to class for!

@virginmedia Truly disgusted. Waited 8 hours with my elderly mother today for an engineer to fix her phone line having been ASSURED they would call between 12-4pm. Gave up at 8pm. Impossible company to try contacting! 🤬

@virginmedia The network is not 100% for sure.I live in a built up area so I do expect congestion on the lines but I see timeouts when I am live streaming late at night and the congestion should not be an issue then if you get me so not exactly sure what the issue is. Timeouts on cat6 & wifi

@virginmedia I'm 100% confident Virgin Engineers did everything they could in their power - just trying to get some transparency into long outages like this, currently it's a black box to me as a customer. That long outage is really uncommon so that's why I'm curious what caused it in 2021.

.@virginmedia is easily the worst service provider out there. Please, if you're for some godforsaken reason considering becoming a VM customer, don't. They make it impossible to cancel your contract (via webchat, email or phone call), especially if you're moving to a new property
