Ok so, virgin media router kinda sucks, if I use the Bt SmartHub 2, it would basically just be a Wi-fi access point, so would need a like a rpi for dhcp Or I could just buy a google nest Wi-fi or something ubiquiti

@virginmedia all our smart devices are now not responding because "they are too far away from our HUB 3.0". This is according to the diagnostic tool. Thing is, they are the same distance as before, and they used to work on the same router. Help?

@virginmedia since Christmas our WiFi has been disgustingly bad. A few weeks ago I called yourselves and spent almost 2 hours on the phone. I upgraded our WiFi at home to the best possible WiFi we could have and yet it’s still shockingly bad. I’ve never known such shoddy service

@virginmedia Who knows but certain people with in your team have been very flippant about our situation and trying to palm us off with a 20pound credit. This is nowhere near acceptable considering the stress and upset your so called customer service team has put us through.
-
Richard Martin (@gunsmoke70) reported from Manningtree, England
@7pudinis @virginmedia Was signal issue that originated from the Initial install yrs ago, bent wire in outside box, I guess over the yrs degraded till no signal, all fixed now

@virginmedia Look I've had two days of total crap from you guys. I just don't have the energy to deal with this anymore. You've took money off me wen u shouldn't. Because of covid I'm on less money so an extra 26 quid is massive to us,but all your guys keep doing is fobbing us off. 😠

@virginmedia It’s a constant problem. Been going on for a long time. All you need to do is check Area 15 to see the constant daily outages. Really annoying and yet we never get offered a refund for the lack of service and coverage
-
Jack (@Kerrxng) reported
@virginmedia Not being funny but the last thing I’m gunna do is contact the ‘team’ when they ask ‘is it plugged in’. He already said there’s no issues in the area, I hung up after he asked me for the 4th time if the wires are plugged in lmao

-
Martin Slade (@MartinSlade18) reported
@virginmedia It has been ok since the 26th, if I raise it with your customer service team they always claim there are no problems and it must be my equipment or wifi. The service is consistently below the 200mbit I pay for and we regularly have issues with not being able to even get online.
-
Sunshine (@1976Sunshine) reported
@virginmedia Don't worry I have changed to BT and will never take any service related to Virgin again.
-
Richard Dickie Smith (@dickie_o_dickie) reported
@virginmedia Service status always says everythings fine, but the wifi around the house drops off numerous times a day. Its clearly the router being cheap and nasty quality, but can never get hold of someone to sort it for us!
