@PhilPpauk @virginmedia Seriously it’s been 24 hours of terrible service now 😭 you’d think they would have decent infrastructure from the billions they make each year
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia Full details re my complaint should be on your records (telephone & web chat). In short appalling customer service making it v difficult for me to resolve issues. I have also complained about your complaint handling. I’m fed up having to explain what my complaint is about.

Em J Hamilton (@EmmaOrca1971) reported from Exeter District, England
@virginmedia Issues with TV in EX4 area. Losing signal every few seconds. WiFi keeps going off, not good when working from home. And I get to pay over £110 a month for this!

@WhichUK Thread below a snapshot of my frustration with Virgin Media customer care & their complaint handling process.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia It is hard to complain. I just want to send an email but cannot find how to do this. I do not want to speak to your call centre or use the live text - both routes have failed to respond to complaint. Only other method is to send in a physical letter.

@CllrEmmaMorse @virginmedia @bt_uk @SkyUK @VodafoneUK @BenPBradshaw Amazing how we are living in this “Digital Age” and yet there are these “Connectivity Black Spots” within the city 🙄 Amazing and disappointing the private companies don’t want to help/get more customers 😕 @BenPBradshaw works so hard for Exeter, lobbying away on everything!😊👍

-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
Apologies if my tweets with Virgin Media have landed in your timeline this evening. They couldn’t DM me and all other avenues of complaint have failed.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia I’m complaining about the difficulty & time taken to resolve an issue. Being on the helpline for over 2 hrs, being passed on numerous times, each time going thru security, each time explaining issue, people not calling back when promised, complaint not addressed. feel powerless.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
Dear @virginmedia, I rarely take to social media to complain however attempts to make a formal complaint via telephone “help”line & via online chat have failed. Your customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Your complaint handling process is also broken. @WhichUK

Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England
@virginmedia after several weeks of suffering faulty equipment. I was promised a rebate, in fact I get an increase in my bill. Phone help desk, in queue, pass security, put on hold, pass security, put back in queue! No customer service, no personal responsibility. #utterrubbish
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia Follow me and I will send you my account number by DM. Someone just needs to look at the call notes and text notes to determine my complaint. I’ve already used web chat.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia Hi. Following up the comment above. I have heard nothing from the team. Your complaint handling process is broken.

@reece_dinsdale @virginmedia Yes up every three months now. Call responses have always been poor.
-
Amanda Leach (@nuggyleach) reported from Exeter District, England
@Peter_Follett @virginmedia Try TalkTalk. I left a Virgin £80 per month 'Faster Fibre' TV + phone package in December. Connection always dropping..Had no problems with our internet since and now pay £35 capped for 24 mths! Plus their live chat is much quicker than trying to get hold of Virgin!

@virginmedia Like ground hog day, you are repeating yourself using the same useless rhetoric - what is the actual point of your service? Eight neighbours on our road are complaining so strength in numbers when complaining to MP and your CEO
-
イタライザー (@Italizer) reported
@virginmedia I got a message via text my internet will be down today. Can you confirm between what hrs?
-
Andy Paul (@gozar65) reported
@virginmedia Another stability issue in the area if it doesn’t get fixed in 24 hours I can complain again and something might get fixed. Accounts however just tried to sell me increased support when I said I was thinking of leaving
-
Helen Gray (@helenlucygray) reported
@virginmedia That I should wait 24 hours and hope it rights itself. It did not fix itself overnight, so I still have no means to work at home. It’s not being taken seriously at all, someone needs to take ownership that I have a complete outage and arrange a fix. Please.
-
Andy Paul (@gozar65) reported
I am totally fed up with the service I receive from @virginmedia you pay for amazing speeds of 100Mbs you get no connection or 2Mbs. Everyone in my street says to leave because they have the same story. Once again when I need it most @virginmedia let’s me down #furious
-
BrightLightGames (@BrightLitegames) reported
@virginmedia But that's my problem, they're not! They don't listen. I've ran out of patience, 4 days without internet, a further 4 before call out! Not acceptable. What are you going to do about it?
-
@TheKumarz (@TheKumarz) reported
@virginmedia how do I register a loss of service? Your website & app say it can be done online but I can't see where.
-
MMmm (@MMmm45228284) reported
@virginmedia Do you think the current fix time - moved from 4/1/23 to 18/1/23 with “no guarantee the problem will be resolved” according to your colleague an example of providing a good service? Due to current I’ll health issues, I currently work from home. How am I supposed to work from home
-
Colin Bailey (@Colin__Bailey) reported
@jeanneanna @virginmedia Not good Renee! hope they sort it for you. I can't claim to be vulnerable, but I work from home using broadband, so financially this is costing me money, and lets not start on the kids constantly asking why there is no Wi-Fi. And as an update @virginmedia its still not working
-
Matt (@Kitkatmatt) reported
@virginmedia The service checker is now working and says it’s an area issue. How can I make sure I get compensated from yesterday morning when it went down but your service checker took wasn’t working?
