  • MikeJFuller Mike Fuller (@MikeJFuller) reported from Kilmington, England

The @virginmedia service I get is unreliable and over priced. I guess it’s a matter of switching, as when I call their Help Service the well-meaning scripted responses frustrate me.

  • kathytomlinson_ Kathy Tomlinson (@kathytomlinson_) reported from Exeter District, England

2 weeks and counting, and despite having my complaint escalated to a manager I have still received no call back from @virginmedia #awfulcustomerservice

  • billy8179 Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia after several weeks of suffering faulty equipment. I was promised a rebate, in fact I get an increase in my bill. Phone help desk, in queue, pass security, put on hold, pass security, put back in queue! No customer service, no personal responsibility. #utterrubbish

  • billy8179 Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia Issue still not resolved, a week without a TiVo box that works #CustomerService #joke

  • MattCampbellPhD Matt Campbell (@MattCampbellPhD) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia The reason they want me to call back is because their system was down!! They won't send an engineer without running through steps that I've already run without them.

  • billy8179 Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia your customer service is woeful! Leaving soon, if I can just get someone on the phone lines to sort it! Apparently not knowing my password, brings your processes to a standstill and it’s my fault! #notgoodenough

  • pbandapple Charlie Garnham (@pbandapple) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia It’s wi fi. My old dongle stopped picking any signal up so brought a new one. Will try the troubleshooting

  • chrisgower Chris Gower (@chrisgower) reported from Exeter District, England

@LauraRiceli I'm exactly the same. I ceremonially watch some terrestrial telly because I'm paying for it, @virginmedia won't let me cancel the telly as its part of my package. But we still have to pay a license fee because government reasons.

  • kathytomlinson_ Kathy Tomlinson (@kathytomlinson_) reported from Newton Poppleford and Harpford, England

@virginmedia I was given a complaint number on Thursday night and was told I would receive a call back within 24 hours but I haven't heard anything

  • billy8179 Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia this was never funny, now a further 12 minutes in the queue listening to what ever this music is!! Still waiting #CustomerService #joke

  • billy8179 Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia Yes, rude, incompetent. Computer driven process! No ability to adapt or free think or problem solve. I am moving, but to an area where Virgin is not available!

  • billy8179 Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia I spent 25 minutes on the phone to your unhelpful customer service desk yesterday....

  • DadThorverton Thorverton_Dad (@DadThorverton) reported from Thorverton, England

Grrrrr. I rarely tweet but @TalkTalk have ruined my day off. Tried unsuccessfully to obtain a new router, been talked down to like I am a child and charged for an engineer I didn't request or need! Why the heck did I ever leave @virginmedia. Indian call centres are so aggressive!

  • ShakersExmouth Shakers (@ShakersExmouth) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia 2 handsets in different parts of Devon - cannot make calls! Service checker not working!! Come on VM sort this out...

  • pbandapple Charlie Garnham (@pbandapple) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia It’s a bit difficult to explain the whole story in a tweet as it’s a really strange issue and I’m fed up of calling your non-uk call centre and being told the same thing again.

  • pbandapple Charlie Garnham (@pbandapple) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia Every device I have can connect to the wi fi with fast speeds and the connection doesn’t get interrupted, expect for my PC. The other night it suddenly dropped out & whilst Virgin CS managed to sort it out and get back onto the connection, it’s now very slow.

  • MattCampbellPhD Matt Campbell (@MattCampbellPhD) reported from Exeter District, England

@DrGBuckingham @virginmedia Combination of sporadic wired service and Wi-fi dropouts all day on top of an ongoing issue with the service coming into the house.

  • Alydinsdale Aly Howard (@Alydinsdale) reported from Countess Wear, England

@virginmedia no broadband for 18 hours and told won't be fixed until 12.9.19 refund for loss of service #Exeter

  • MattCampbellPhD Matt Campbell (@MattCampbellPhD) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia Contact them later today to run through the troubleshooting tips before they will send an engineer to fix the issue. Even though it's same issue as been having for weeks which has already been ”fixed” once.

  • grocer_on_green 🍎🍐TheGrocerOnTheGreen🍋🍊 (@grocer_on_green) reported from Exeter District, England

@CllrEmmaMorse @virginmedia @bt_uk @SkyUK @VodafoneUK @BenPBradshaw Amazing how we are living in this “Digital Age” and yet there are these “Connectivity Black Spots” within the city 🙄 Amazing and disappointing the private companies don’t want to help/get more customers 😕 @BenPBradshaw works so hard for Exeter, lobbying away on everything!😊👍

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ShazC7 ShazC (@ShazC7) reported

@virginmedia ...I don't have much of an issue with. It's still within the minimum download speed guarantee. If I apply this to my upload speeds as well then my upload speeds aren't meeting the minimum 50% expected upload speed. I'm on M200 so I should expect an upload speed of at least 10mb.

  • luke_bwfc Luke... (@luke_bwfc) reported

Is anyone else’s Virgin Media internet down?

  • WhiteMcrae Hayley McRae-White (@WhiteMcrae) reported

@virginmedia is it your intention to cut off a whole part of London for a 24hr period in this pretty historic moment & not provide any rationale/customer support etc. You really are the worst

  • GalacTR0N Sir Muppet of Smegg (@GalacTR0N) reported

see @virginmedia early exit fees. how @richardbranson how is the customer always right exactly? how bizarre a consumer is the single most destructive force on the planet and the weight of law isn't ever really in their favour.

  • IstvanOFatyol Oliver Fatyol (@IstvanOFatyol) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia Since w/c 22Aug my wife and I continuously keep checking the service status which gets updated and deadline pushed back. Nobody with virgin has broadband or TV for over 3 weeks now without explanation or a decent update

  • PaulAhdal Paul Ahdal (@PaulAhdal) reported

@virginmedia The line didn't cut off, your operator cut me off because he couldn't wait to end the call with me. Referring to your policy isn't acceptable, I've been shown nothing butncontempt by your staff throughout these issues.

  • ktjohnson_x KJ (@ktjohnson_x) reported

@virginmedia So being a loyal @virginmedia customer will literally cost me is what you’re saying? Wow. Looks like Virgin don’t value loyalty and want to lose customers then?

  • redsabre69 Tony (@redsabre69) reported

@virginmedia @virginhelp No Internet since 10pm last night and service checker says no problems, I've phoned virgin too but just keeps saying they are closed, upgraded to 500mb other day and can't even use my Internet I'm not happy

  • DhindsaSandy Sandy Dhindsa (@DhindsaSandy) reported
