Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England@virginmedia I’m complaining about the difficulty & time taken to resolve an issue. Being on the helpline for over 2 hrs, being passed on numerous times, each time going thru security, each time explaining issue, people not calling back when promised, complaint not addressed. feel powerless.

Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England@virginmedia As per many comments in this thread I have suffered at the hands of terrible VM customer service. Employees don’t seem to have the tools to do a decent job. So many pillars & posts to be passed between. VM ok when it works but if you need help...

Been very disappointed with them altogether. Leaving after 15+ years.
-
justin courtney (@jdcecfc) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia such poor staff in the call centre, seemed very smug and happy not to help a customer of over 30 years, eurobell, telewest then virgin, total loyalty and no respect from your staff. Looks like we shal be going to sky after all these years. Pathetic
-
Alex Squire (@exeteralex) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia we’ve been without a landline for at least 3 & a bit days now, the online test says no issues and yet when you use a mobile to go through all the options it says we are aware of an issue, I know things happen now and again but I think 3+ days is more than excessive.
-
justin courtney (@jdcecfc) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia Haha, customer care, Anything but, sorry ti be negative but it was just the attitude yesterday was as if it was pleasing for the guy not to help me, that's the bit that I cannot except. I won't be phoning them again, I think I shal be canceling. Shame after all these years.

Andy Cooper (@DevonLifeEd) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia My partner spoke to your customer service team today without much resolution. Suggested we need a booster or a better bundle. Not sure that’s the best answer, given the price we are paying. And service was A1 for 12 months until about 4 weeks ago. There must be a reason for this.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, EnglandIt would appear that @virginmedia broadband is down across the SW until at least midday. Not that you’d know from VM. Have had to glean this from internet searches & Facebook. Usual poor VM customer service.

Our Electric World (@O_E_W) reported@TheEvEngineer @gigaclear @MartinSLewis I used to get the same with Virgin Media when it was our only option. Simple solution is to swap and change to the cheaper deals. I got an Orbi mesh router a while back. It should help simplify our next swap as it keeps the same network name whatever company we’re with.
