Sally French (@sallywallywoo10) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia Thanks but I’m not a customer yet...I see there was some sort of roadshow going on yesterday but didn’t know about it in advance so no time to take a look. I’m just keen to switch from my current provider.
-
Julie Galt (@JulieGalt) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia hi, I have a virgin media landline does that mean I can dial and get through to a member of the team? I have tried on a few occasions today and just get the engaged tone? Can you help? Thanks
-
Jasyboy71 (@jasyboy71) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia @TomMockridgeVM Your customer service is the worst i have EVER experienced and i bitterly regret signing up with you - cannot log into myaccount to remove childlock, had to call customer service which is as bad as your online reviews suggest, took 30 minutes
-
Nicholas Seymour (@nrjs1000) reported from Countess Wear, EnglandAfter weeks of problems and discussions about WiFi connections, @virginmedia have just advised me that I should arrange my Zoom meetings for 7am when the traffic is lighter! Been very disappointed with them altogether. Leaving after 15+ years.
-
Charlie Garnham (@pbandapple) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia It’s a bit difficult to explain the whole story in a tweet as it’s a really strange issue and I’m fed up of calling your non-uk call centre and being told the same thing again.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England@virginmedia Full details re my complaint should be on your records (telephone & web chat). In short appalling customer service making it v difficult for me to resolve issues. I have also complained about your complaint handling. I’m fed up having to explain what my complaint is about.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, EnglandApologies if my tweets with Virgin Media have landed in your timeline this evening. They couldn’t DM me and all other avenues of complaint have failed.
-
Mike Noon (@TheMikeNoon) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia Thank you for your response. The issue returned swiftly after the engineers visit and has continued to deteriorate and now the picture is not visible nor the sound.
-
Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia Issue still not resolved, a week without a TiVo box that works #CustomerService #joke
-
Tilly (@_Tillyjp) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia hi any idea how long the internet will be down in EX2 area please?
-
Al Brooking (@albrooking) reported from Exeter District, EnglandI have had lots of issues with @virginmedia over the last few months. Received this today “We wanted to let you know that the speeds to your Virgin Media Hub haven’t fallen below your Minimum Guaranteed Download Speed for 3 days in a row.” And today its down completely.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England@virginmedia It is hard to complain. I just want to send an email but cannot find how to do this. I do not want to speak to your call centre or use the live text - both routes have failed to respond to complaint. Only other method is to send in a physical letter.
-
Ian Bond (@BondyOfficial) reported from Exeter District, EnglandSeems that @virginmedia is down again here. Must be fifth time in the last few weeks and it’s getting annoying
-
Jσѕιє 🦋🧡 (@tacksf0rsnacks_) reported from Exeter District, EnglandSee Virgin media are up to their old tricks again…🙄 if I had £1 for every time they are down, I’d be rich and could go elsewhere for a better package…
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England@virginmedia Follow me and I will send you my account number by DM. Someone just needs to look at the call notes and text notes to determine my complaint. I’ve already used web chat.
-
Jasyboy71 (@jasyboy71) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia it will only affect my credit score if you let it - you can stop that from happening by writing off any further charges to compensate me for the appalling service, for myaccount registration not working and for your agent refusing to let me speak to a manager
-
humanenergy (@humanenergy5) reported from Exeter District, England@reece_dinsdale @virginmedia Yes up every three months now. Call responses have always been poor.
-
Amanda Leach (@nuggyleach) reported from Exeter District, England@Peter_Follett @virginmedia Try TalkTalk. I left a Virgin £80 per month 'Faster Fibre' TV + phone package in December. Connection always dropping..Had no problems with our internet since and now pay £35 capped for 24 mths! Plus their live chat is much quicker than trying to get hold of Virgin!
-
Em J Hamilton (@EmmaOrca1971) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia yet again more connectivity/TiVo issues in the EX4 area. Not great when working from home and you can’t access your important meetings. How about reducing our bills as we’re not getting the 24/7 service we’re paying for.
-
Clare Palmer (@spinkles176) reported from Exeter District, England@O2 number should have ported on Monday, from @virginmedia as part of new package. After several calls this week the porting has still not happened, now have no service! And yes I have switched it off and on again! #help #notgreat
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported@virginmedia you should not be glad. You should be ashamed of your terrible track record so far
-
entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported@RogerGreen2009 @virginmedia I'm definitely going to be reviewing my options at the end of my current @virginmedia contract as they've been dreadful in terms of communication and help when the chips are down(day SEVEN of outage)😢 Sadly, I've only just renewed my contract... Thanks for the suggestions👍
-
not jay (@notjay92349724) reported@FuzziePieRat @virginmedia Mate, we had exactly the same same thing. Tried to reduce packages down (we were paying £131 a MONTH at the time) and we were assured our package had changed and we were paying SIGNIFICANTLY less. Our bill came through, no change…
-
Aidan Costello (@aidan_codtello) reported@entrustTMF @virginmedia Whereabouts are you out of interest? My daughter is working from home today at our house and says Virgin broadband has packed up. I'm in hospital for a few days so out of touch but wondering if problems are localised or nationwide. Thanks!
-
entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported@virginmedia Thanks for the reply @virginmedia but, frankly, these are just platitudes as usual. What is needed is action to sort the problem and accurate fix dates as opposed to the random, made up,ones I've been given so far Also, why not supply clients with MiFi solutions to help them?
-
Asa McGrath (@amcgrath1uk) reportedWell done @virginmedia . No internet or TV all day. Gone from saying it’s a known problem to saying it’s an issue our end. Nope. Bet the engineer who’s coming Wednesday won’t be needed as it’ll be miraculously fixed by then
-
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, EnglandYou only know how sitty a service provider relly is when something goes wrong. Was with @virginmedia for over 5 years. Now that i decided to leave they have charged me for 2 months with me already with another provider. After complaining they take 2 months to refund you and now that i sent them their router they somehow misplaced it and charged me 40 quid saying i didnt send it (even thought i had a call last week where i gave them the receipt) If you are their customer.. Get out as soon as possible and remember to block the direct debits. They cannot be trusted with your money.
-
Bob Moore (@RNM1947) reported@virginmedia @Craig_A_D Had 6-7 months of issues with my Virgin Media system, still payed my monthly bill and still waiting to be compensated. Not good enough.
-
SageAFK (@SageyAFK) reported@jammierooroo @steveomufc @SkyUK Virgin Media have down the same thing recently. Everyone’s under pressure to “hit a target”, to earn more money because the system is ******. We are failing fundamentally at all levels, and it’s ******* disgusting.
-
Rob ⭐⭐️ (@LordBadshot) reported@entrustTMF @virginmedia @Starlink simples - best utility provider I have ever had and never gone down in the years I have been a customer.
