Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England
@virginmedia after several weeks of suffering faulty equipment. I was promised a rebate, in fact I get an increase in my bill. Phone help desk, in queue, pass security, put on hold, pass security, put back in queue! No customer service, no personal responsibility. #utterrubbish

@virginmedia Hello, it was a GDPR complaint after my address for my virgin media account was sent to a different account holder.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia Full details re my complaint should be on your records (telephone & web chat). In short appalling customer service making it v difficult for me to resolve issues. I have also complained about your complaint handling. I’m fed up having to explain what my complaint is about.
-
Kathy Tomlinson (@kathytomlinson_) reported from Newton Poppleford and Harpford, England
@virginmedia My second complaint was forwarded straight onto them and I never heard anything back. I will try and email them directly myself, thank you
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia It is hard to complain. I just want to send an email but cannot find how to do this. I do not want to speak to your call centre or use the live text - both routes have failed to respond to complaint. Only other method is to send in a physical letter.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
Apologies if my tweets with Virgin Media have landed in your timeline this evening. They couldn’t DM me and all other avenues of complaint have failed.

@CllrEmmaMorse @virginmedia @bt_uk @SkyUK @VodafoneUK @BenPBradshaw Amazing how we are living in this “Digital Age” and yet there are these “Connectivity Black Spots” within the city 🙄 Amazing and disappointing the private companies don’t want to help/get more customers 😕 @BenPBradshaw works so hard for Exeter, lobbying away on everything!😊👍

Kathy Tomlinson (@kathytomlinson_) reported from Newton Poppleford and Harpford, England
@virginmedia 8 weeks on since I REsubmitted a GDPR breach complaint after my first was closed for no reason, I have still heard nothing from @virginmedia ..... 😡

Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia I’m complaining about the difficulty & time taken to resolve an issue. Being on the helpline for over 2 hrs, being passed on numerous times, each time going thru security, each time explaining issue, people not calling back when promised, complaint not addressed. feel powerless.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia Follow me and I will send you my account number by DM. Someone just needs to look at the call notes and text notes to determine my complaint. I’ve already used web chat.
-
Steve Lee (@SteveALee) reported from Exeter District, England

Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
Dear @virginmedia, I rarely take to social media to complain however attempts to make a formal complaint via telephone “help”line & via online chat have failed. Your customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Your complaint handling process is also broken. @WhichUK

Chris Gower (@chrisgower) reported from Exeter District, England
@LauraRiceli I'm exactly the same. I ceremonially watch some terrestrial telly because I'm paying for it, @virginmedia won't let me cancel the telly as its part of my package. But we still have to pay a license fee because government reasons.
-

@virginmedia The only Machines I had on were the 3 needed for school and a firestick, I know you’re trying to help I appreciate it, but if I’m paying for internet that has advertised it can run 10+ machines all at once, why should I have to turn off machines when I have less then 10 running?
-
James Hunt (@Huntjolifey) reported
@virginmedia It is a shame you can’t follow through your advice with actions! I have had a problem with my virgin TV remote control app on an iPhone for at least two months now! Each time I ring to sort out I’ll get passed to another person who never calls me back. This is shocking😡
-
Marty H. | Film Editor London (@IPASocialist) reported
Dear every internet service provider ever, when I go to your website and press the 'contact us' button. I don't want articles, I want contact details. @virginmedia
-
Kevin (@inmonopinion) reported
@virginmedia Can you see why from a customer’s point of view this is all nonsensical?? It’s like because this is public space you say we’ll help but it sounds like you’re there to deflect not sort. Can you actually do anything? Direct these depts say one thing but do zero!! #virginmedia
-
Grace (@WakeUpUkffs) reported
@virginmedia And I’ve made it very clear that I will not email in and my reasons why before as this is all part of my complaint and I am not having my time wasted by you guys on here. You can’t deal with all the issue so stop chatting nonsense to me.

@virginmedia Hi I am an existing customer trying to sort out a new contract. The package I have is being offered to new customers for £27.99 a month. I've been told the best I can be offered is £35.70 a month. As a long term customer what is keeping me with you?

Ryan.Lee.S (@Ryan_Lee89) reported
@virginmedia I’ve been dealing with this issue for 6 months now. I’ve tried everything your engineers have suggested. It still persists. The issue is with the HUB 3 as there were no issues with the older hub that we had.
