Sean Jenner (@SeanJenner10) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia really is a poor service. Once again sitting here waiting for my daily service drop out to reconnect. They are the only option for fibre at present. They know it too.
-
Nicholas Seymour (@nrjs1000) reported from Countess Wear, EnglandAfter weeks of problems and discussions about WiFi connections, @virginmedia have just advised me that I should arrange my Zoom meetings for 7am when the traffic is lighter! Been very disappointed with them altogether. Leaving after 15+ years.
-
Em J Hamilton (@EmmaOrca1971) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia yet again more connectivity/TiVo issues in the EX4 area. Not great when working from home and you can’t access your important meetings. How about reducing our bills as we’re not getting the 24/7 service we’re paying for.
-
Chris Gower (@chrisgower) reported from Exeter District, England@LauraRiceli I'm exactly the same. I ceremonially watch some terrestrial telly because I'm paying for it, @virginmedia won't let me cancel the telly as its part of my package. But we still have to pay a license fee because government reasons.
-
Elliot (@Elliot_TBR) reported from Exeter District, England@J3Lyon If you’re having internet connectivity problems, it’ll be the problem/responsibility of Openreach or Virgin Media. So in this sense, it’s largely irrelevant who is actually supplying your broadband contract, as they’re using the same physical infrastructure.
-
Scott Palfrey (@ScottPalfrey) reported from Exeter District, EnglandWorking from home is even more of a challenge when @virginmedia cuts in and out and is as slow as a snail! Gahhhhh
-
Scott Palfrey (@ScottPalfrey) reported from Exeter District, England@timlong00 @virginmedia Ah right, all this copyright stuff is bonkers when you break it down, it the club didn’t exsist and play football there wouldn’t be any video - I await a call from their lawyers 🤓
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England@virginmedia As per many comments in this thread I have suffered at the hands of terrible VM customer service. Employees don’t seem to have the tools to do a decent job. So many pillars & posts to be passed between. VM ok when it works but if you need help...
-
Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia I spent 25 minutes on the phone to your unhelpful customer service desk yesterday....
-
Em J Hamilton (@EmmaOrca1971) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia Issues with TV in EX4 area. Losing signal every few seconds. WiFi keeps going off, not good when working from home. And I get to pay over £110 a month for this!
-
Simon (@trail_71) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia hey peeps any outage in the ex2 postcode in Exeter ? Internet is down and the service status page doesn’t work - thanks
-
humanenergy (@humanenergy5) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia internet down again. Problems ? 🤔😬
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England@virginmedia It is hard to complain. I just want to send an email but cannot find how to do this. I do not want to speak to your call centre or use the live text - both routes have failed to respond to complaint. Only other method is to send in a physical letter.
-
🍎🍐TheGrocerOnTheGreen🍋🍊 (@grocer_on_green) reported from Exeter District, England@CllrEmmaMorse @virginmedia @bt_uk @SkyUK @VodafoneUK @BenPBradshaw Amazing how we are living in this “Digital Age” and yet there are these “Connectivity Black Spots” within the city 🙄 Amazing and disappointing the private companies don’t want to help/get more customers 😕 @BenPBradshaw works so hard for Exeter, lobbying away on everything!😊👍
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England@virginmedia Well that’s pretty meaningless. Broadband down in Exeter & other parts of Devon. When is service expected to be restored? Why haven’t you put a message on your website? This is impacting my ability to work at home.
-
Matt Campbell (@MattCampbellPhD) reported from Exeter District, England@virginmedia The reason they want me to call back is because their system was down!! They won't send an engineer without running through steps that I've already run without them.
-
Kathy Tomlinson (@kathytomlinson_) reported from Newton Poppleford and Harpford, England@virginmedia 8 weeks on since I REsubmitted a GDPR breach complaint after my first was closed for no reason, I have still heard nothing from @virginmedia ..... 😡

-
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported@virginmedia you should not be glad. You should be ashamed of your terrible track record so far
-
entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported@RogerGreen2009 @virginmedia I'm definitely going to be reviewing my options at the end of my current @virginmedia contract as they've been dreadful in terms of communication and help when the chips are down(day SEVEN of outage)😢 Sadly, I've only just renewed my contract... Thanks for the suggestions👍
-
not jay (@notjay92349724) reported@FuzziePieRat @virginmedia Mate, we had exactly the same same thing. Tried to reduce packages down (we were paying £131 a MONTH at the time) and we were assured our package had changed and we were paying SIGNIFICANTLY less. Our bill came through, no change…
-
Aidan Costello (@aidan_codtello) reported@entrustTMF @virginmedia Whereabouts are you out of interest? My daughter is working from home today at our house and says Virgin broadband has packed up. I'm in hospital for a few days so out of touch but wondering if problems are localised or nationwide. Thanks!
-
entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported@virginmedia Thanks for the reply @virginmedia but, frankly, these are just platitudes as usual. What is needed is action to sort the problem and accurate fix dates as opposed to the random, made up,ones I've been given so far Also, why not supply clients with MiFi solutions to help them?
-
Asa McGrath (@amcgrath1uk) reportedWell done @virginmedia . No internet or TV all day. Gone from saying it’s a known problem to saying it’s an issue our end. Nope. Bet the engineer who’s coming Wednesday won’t be needed as it’ll be miraculously fixed by then
-
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, EnglandYou only know how sitty a service provider relly is when something goes wrong. Was with @virginmedia for over 5 years. Now that i decided to leave they have charged me for 2 months with me already with another provider. After complaining they take 2 months to refund you and now that i sent them their router they somehow misplaced it and charged me 40 quid saying i didnt send it (even thought i had a call last week where i gave them the receipt) If you are their customer.. Get out as soon as possible and remember to block the direct debits. They cannot be trusted with your money.
-
Bob Moore (@RNM1947) reported@virginmedia @Craig_A_D Had 6-7 months of issues with my Virgin Media system, still payed my monthly bill and still waiting to be compensated. Not good enough.
-
SageAFK (@SageyAFK) reported@jammierooroo @steveomufc @SkyUK Virgin Media have down the same thing recently. Everyone’s under pressure to “hit a target”, to earn more money because the system is ******. We are failing fundamentally at all levels, and it’s ******* disgusting.
-
Rob ⭐⭐️ (@LordBadshot) reported@entrustTMF @virginmedia @Starlink simples - best utility provider I have ever had and never gone down in the years I have been a customer.
