@LauraRiceli I'm exactly the same. I ceremonially watch some terrestrial telly because I'm paying for it, @virginmedia won't let me cancel the telly as its part of my package. But we still have to pay a license fee because government reasons.

@virginmedia Follow me and I will send you my account number by DM. Someone just needs to look at the call notes and text notes to determine my complaint. I’ve already used web chat.

Billy Bingham (@billy8179) reported from Exeter District, England
@virginmedia after several weeks of suffering faulty equipment. I was promised a rebate, in fact I get an increase in my bill. Phone help desk, in queue, pass security, put on hold, pass security, put back in queue! No customer service, no personal responsibility. #utterrubbish

Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
Apologies if my tweets with Virgin Media have landed in your timeline this evening. They couldn’t DM me and all other avenues of complaint have failed.

@CllrEmmaMorse @virginmedia @bt_uk @SkyUK @VodafoneUK @BenPBradshaw Amazing how we are living in this “Digital Age” and yet there are these “Connectivity Black Spots” within the city 🙄 Amazing and disappointing the private companies don’t want to help/get more customers 😕 @BenPBradshaw works so hard for Exeter, lobbying away on everything!😊👍

Dear @virginmedia, I rarely take to social media to complain however attempts to make a formal complaint via telephone “help”line & via online chat have failed. Your customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Your complaint handling process is also broken. @WhichUK

Redsoilgirl (@redsoilgirl49) reported from Borough of Torbay, England
@virginmedia Have tried 3 more times to get through with the same outcome. Paying a lot of money for no service and no customer service!
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia I’m complaining about the difficulty & time taken to resolve an issue. Being on the helpline for over 2 hrs, being passed on numerous times, each time going thru security, each time explaining issue, people not calling back when promised, complaint not addressed. feel powerless.
-
Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England
@virginmedia It is hard to complain. I just want to send an email but cannot find how to do this. I do not want to speak to your call centre or use the live text - both routes have failed to respond to complaint. Only other method is to send in a physical letter.

@poojatweets @pjeedai @virginmedia Best way to cancel is send a letter to their complaints dept, Sunderland, send it recorded delivery, and then cancel direct debit in 30 days time. You have done your legal duty to cancel. They then have no leg to stand on. Meantime arrange to switch providers. Hope that helps.
-

@virginmedia Yes “intermittent” but this is constant for us and not good enough. Many of us are totally shielding and working from home let alone the practical support we need personally for shopping etc!!

@virginmedia I'm trying to resolve a complaint, the links to the chat dont go to a chat just more links and useless info. Another example of fob off mentality. Get someone to call me and I'll go through ID&V

Marc Hall (@MarcChuck) reported
@virginmedia Can somebody help me???? I’ve rang twice now and been cut off.
-
Wayne Charnley (@Wayne_Charnley) reported
@TerryBpne @Sedds_lep @virginmedia I'm using their text system. Just no simple way of contacting them. It took 51 days from our original installation date to actually be provided with a service. We received the standard £5 a day compo but that's a government scheme, so they had to cover that.

Samantha Ryall (@samantharyall) reported
@virginmedia I will do but I have already spent hours on the phone out to virgin trying to sort out these issues!! I am a nurse and really disappointed I am having a complete nightmare with you. Currently in a queue yet again for I don't know how long!
