  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

Dear @virginmedia, I rarely take to social media to complain however attempts to make a formal complaint via telephone “help”line & via online chat have failed. Your customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Your complaint handling process is also broken. @WhichUK

  • ShonaClarke9 Shona Clarke (@ShonaClarke9) reported from Newton Abbot, England

Not happy with Virgin Media at the moment. No WiFi since Saturday. Tried calling and got nowhere as the call centre is closed. Don't need this during self isolation. Does anyone else have this problem. Not good enough Virgin Media.

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

Apologies if my tweets with Virgin Media have landed in your timeline this evening. They couldn’t DM me and all other avenues of complaint have failed.

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@virginmedia I’m complaining about the difficulty & time taken to resolve an issue. Being on the helpline for over 2 hrs, being passed on numerous times, each time going thru security, each time explaining issue, people not calling back when promised, complaint not addressed. feel powerless.

  • last_centurion JC (@last_centurion) reported from Borough of Torbay, England

@virginmedia I have a Virgin complaint ref and a Cisas ref number. Don’t have them to had as I’m at work. I had no ref number relating to GDPR concerns that I emailed to the email address on your site.

  • Alydinsdale Aly Howard (@Alydinsdale) reported from Countess Wear, England

@virginmedia no broadband for 18 hours and told won't be fixed until 12.9.19 refund for loss of service #Exeter

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@virginmedia It is hard to complain. I just want to send an email but cannot find how to do this. I do not want to speak to your call centre or use the live text - both routes have failed to respond to complaint. Only other method is to send in a physical letter.

  • Owen_TwoTwos Owen (@Owen_TwoTwos) reported from Borough of Torbay, England

@virginmedia All sorted, went down for about 4 hours in total yesterday then came back up.

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@virginmedia Full details re my complaint should be on your records (telephone & web chat). In short appalling customer service making it v difficult for me to resolve issues. I have also complained about your complaint handling. I’m fed up having to explain what my complaint is about.

  • saints76 Chris Wright (@saints76) reported from Borough of Torbay, England

@virginmedia Just when I thought you'd fixed it, it goes wrong.....was working fine during the day. Busy times your service is shocking. I've now got the same message.... insufficient bandwidth.

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@virginmedia Follow me and I will send you my account number by DM. Someone just needs to look at the call notes and text notes to determine my complaint. I’ve already used web chat.

  • brenrich101 Brendan (@brenrich101) reported from Borough of Torbay, England

@virginmedia No complaints, just can’t take the service with me when I move! Only thing is an email confirmation would have nice detailing the termination, the date, and any fees/refunds due 👍🏼

  • MariaNDPowell Maria Powell (@MariaNDPowell) reported from Stokeinteignhead, England

@virginmedia Please advise how to remove/reset a Virgin Media online account as original login details all out of date. No help on website, live chat or text so please don’t suggest these.

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@WhichUK Thread below a snapshot of my frustration with Virgin Media customer care & their complaint handling process.

  • MandyPearse Mandy Pearse (@MandyPearse) reported from Teignmouth, England

@danslee @virginmedia That’s shocking customer handling Dan. If it’s any help I’ve actually found the guys @TalkTalk pretty good especially on tech issues around broadband.

  • last_centurion JC (@last_centurion) reported from Borough of Torbay, England

@tapmydata @ICOnews @virginmedia I know. I’ve seen a few tweets people complaining about the customer service and their handling of data under the GDPR regulations

  • AJES1990 Antony Eastop-Scopes (@AJES1990) reported

@virginmedia what's the point of asking people to register the loss of service online when you're website doesn't open the page. Tries multiple browsers. Really bad service.

  • honestdave1437 onkybonk (@honestdave1437) reported

@virginmedia Still the same. Change over was today. Reset still low mbps. I spoke to customer service they said all should be good today. But not.

  • debbiemckeown debbie mckeown (@debbiemckeown) reported

@virginmedia It’s now Tuesday and I’m still trying to cancel without being harassed about why I’m leaving and offering me deals I don’t want but I still haven’t been able to cancel the contract , why is that ?

  • NatalieMacaluso Natalie Macaluso (@NatalieMacaluso) reported

You are an absolute disgrace @virginmedia I have a WhatsApp thread dating back to 13th Sept with your customer service team - “you are so important to us but unfortunately we are busy now”. Over a month of trying and no one is available. 6 years as a customer means nothing.

  • SharpshotII Matt (@SharpshotII) reported

@virginmedia Yes there are related issues on your status page but the time keeps moving for when it supposed to be "fixed", so what you're not really sloving the problem or you just down mind the broadband cutting out and yes there are this issues now.
