@virginmedia how stupid is that to push an update to my router/hub in the middle of the ******* day? How the hell am I supposed to work without internet?

  • MakelyStudio
    Ali@Makely (@MakelyStudio) reported

10 years. 50M+ users. £11M+ revenue impact. Citibank. Mercedes. Sky. Virgin Media. NatWest. I spent a decade fixing conversion problems at companies most startups would kill to work with. what I learned: the same broken patterns show up everywhere - onboarding that loses people in the first 60 seconds, pricing pages that confuse instead of convert, signup flows with friction nobody ever fixed. now I build the same systems for funded startups.

  • iBraderz
    iBraderz (@iBraderz) reported

@virginmedia Just under 2 weeks later and still no resolution. This has now been going on over a month and all the service checker says is they are aware but the date of repair is consistently getting delayed. This is absolutely poor.

  • graeme1878
    Graeme (@graeme1878) reported

@virginmedia are you willing to just let a customer of 9 years go so easily like that or was it half arsed by your staff member that all he could do was the most basic and not even try and get my partner to stay with yourselves.

  • lennylaw
    Percival Merganser (@lennylaw) reported

People moan about @virginmedia but I’ve had great service from their phone guys. Once you’ve found the number.. Internet/wifi been glitching. Indian lad, super helpful, checked and diagnosed in minutes, engineer coming tomorrow, new upgraded router arriving Monday.

@ArrEssVeeTwin @jen_moxon @virginmedia many years ago at previous address I had to take annual leave to call Virgin customer services during UK office hours, when I knew it was UK call centre answering, as the foreign one never logged a single call so had to start all over each time.
