@virginmedia fibre down yet again. Seems to be every day about this time, and a few more times in the afternoon. So bloody annoying.

  • Geo88HH George Hoddinott (@Geo88HH) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia how can I contact you in regards to removing premium channels from my account please? Have tried calling a number of times but cannot get through to a human. Is there a webchat service or similar?

  • leesto Lee Stone (@leesto) reported from Bathford, England

I see @virginmedia are up to their usual tricks of hiding their service issues. Public status checker with postcode: It's all fine 🤔 Login with checker: There's a known fault in your area.

  • edwinokli Edwin Walker (@edwinokli) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia I have an issue with Bluetooth headphones interfering with WiFi signal. Two pairs of headphones, same result. Is there anything I can do to the router to stop this from happening? It's better when I switch off the 2.4GHz band.

  • Saralimback Sara Venn (@Saralimback) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia No someone has deleted it overnight after saying they could help via DM. This is appalling behaviour-it was whoever was tweeting yesterday.

  • MartinRose2 Martin Rose (@MartinRose2) reported from Bristol, England

@mouthwaite @virginmedia All of the wi-fi providers are rubbish. I am with BT and had to make several complaints about poor signal. You would be better off with a pay as you go dongle to be perfectly honest.

  • daintree75 leighton daintree (@daintree75) reported from Bristol, England

@liveseytowers @virginmedia @SkyUK Thanks I just might as I have never gave them any information. They had my mobile number and email address. So I need to get to the bottom of the problem 🤔

  • adamnieman Adam Nieman 💙 (@adamnieman) reported from Bristol, England

@jonWturney @virginmedia If only they DID invest in their network. They bought Telewest in a fire-sale many years ago and have spent barely a penny on it. My guess is that they are able to ‘upgrade’ your speed because all of your neighbours have switched to BT, who actually have invested.

  • daintree75 leighton daintree (@daintree75) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia So i have to fill out forms because you have my details. I will putting a complaint into @Offcom

AGH! 40 mins waiting on the phone to find out that @virginmedia will not help you understand why the internet service is slow unless you have an Ethernet plugged in... WHO CONNECTS BY WIRE TO THE INTERNET IN THE AGE OF TABLETS AND SMARTPHONE?! Ugh! 😡 #penalised

  • Doddstar79 Andrew Dodd (@Doddstar79) reported from Bathford, England

@virginmedia daily internet problems. Same time, every day. At least you are consistent in your terrible service.

  • Saralimback Sara Venn (@Saralimback) reported from Bristol, England

Hi @virginmedia we are trying to get hold of someone to cancel our internet/tv with you but it seems impossible. Please advise. @AndyVenn1

  • daintree75 leighton daintree (@daintree75) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia I have had to email your DPO department again today for an update as it will be 3 weeks tomorrow since last reply. This has been rumbling on for a month. Your customer service is shocking. Who do I need to complain to? @Offcom?

  • digthisfood Pete Lawrence (@digthisfood) reported from Bristol, England

I cannot believe just how lousy the service is from @virginmedia . Counting down the days to my contract end.

  • TheTestDoctor Dan Billing (@TheTestDoctor) reported from Bristol, England

    @inclusively_amy @virginmedia Nope...Manchester issue?

  • ChristianSurfer Phil Williams (@ChristianSurfer) reported from Nailsea, England

@virginmedia another 5 days waiting for a call back .. and this was after my case had been ‘elevated’ and a promise for all to be sorted on a Friday - more broken promises / what do you suggest now ? Just leave after 22 years ? @MartinSLewis @WhichUK - all details being recorded

  • ChristianSurfer Phil Williams (@ChristianSurfer) reported from Nailsea, England

@richardbranson are you anything to do with @virginmedia ? If so please can you get someone to finally do something they promise. 15 hours on phone, promised credits, nothing arrives, overcharge £50 p/month & promised of a call back & nothing 22 years a customer, 6 weeks waiting

  • daintree75 leighton daintree (@daintree75) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia I dont want an account with you to send a complaint. I do not want to be your customer. All I want is to get this resolved. Do I have to go through @Offcom to resolve the issue issue?

  • daintree75 leighton daintree (@daintree75) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia Im not sure but a few questions? Im not your customer? I have never gave you my information? I left you and I have a different number? So why do I have to contact you? I dont think I shall ever come back to you after this?

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • JRiH2020 JRiH (2) (@JRiH2020) reported

Dear @virginmedia I’ll assume my bill this month will reflect the fact that my services have went down 3 times in the space of 8 days. Kind regards Man using his phones data plan.

  • mattissomatt BIG MUSCLES MJATT (@mattissomatt) reported

Chat bot is a fraudulent service, cant get past the queue on the phone, no internet. What am i supposed to do? @virginmedia

  • Winn1Adrian Adrian Winn 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@Winn1Adrian) reported

@st07pat @virginmedia Speed is fine mate, no complaints there, it’s fine for anything 3 meters away or less, like lightening! Any further though and 4G is the only way forward. The router have always been trash and I’m loath to pay to buy another to enjoy the signal I’m paying a lot for anyway

  • heenal77 Heenal (@heenal77) reported

@Jonah2009 @Timsburychris @virginmedia sorry that should say TV not cables, I had no prior warning whatsoever that there were going to be no boxes. Then they have the cheek to charge £35 for installation and they are currently charging me for a service I don't have.

  • thecrate1978 teddy (@thecrate1978) reported

@virginmedia how can I receive a new TiVo box? Have ongoing issue with my current box, try calling but after clearing security the line goes silent.

  • joeboss87 Joe (@joeboss87) reported

@virginmedia I'm in the phone queue for the umpteenth time, the issue now is that you've outright lied, there has been no attempt to call me, and no attempt to text a number I can call back. When I eventually get through, am I actually likely to speak to someone in Complaints?!

  • zareen_rafay Zareen (@zareen_rafay) reported

@virginmedia Ona ‘text’ call with your colleague for the last 90 mins!! Not got anywhere.. I am beyond disgusted at the service of @virginmedia!! I am being threatened if I cancel I have fees to pay!!! Why shud I pay if I’m not receiving the service I’m paying for? Who will give my refund??

  • globalsoul5050 50 50 Show Global Soul (@globalsoul5050) reported

@virginmedia It’s not a question of a certain part of the programming as a valued customer and paying a premium price I expect constituency of premium coverage through the 6 hrs. So the original question regarding compensation still applies. Thanks for replying.

  • wendyaleasha Wendy (@wendyaleasha) reported

@virginmedia Better virgin signal in my home, less expensive contract etc etc

  • mattym1985 Matty (@mattym1985) reported

@davidsafcftm @dcracy3 @virginmedia True, but he is right. Loyal customers should get the better deals. Knowing that im paying £30 for the same products than a new customer is a bit ****.
