-
Martin Rose (@MartinRose2) reported from Bristol, England
@mouthwaite @virginmedia All of the wi-fi providers are rubbish. I am with BT and had to make several complaints about poor signal. You would be better off with a pay as you go dongle to be perfectly honest.
-
Fi Willi (@fifiifif) reported from Bristol, England
AGH! 40 mins waiting on the phone to find out that @virginmedia will not help you understand why the internet service is slow unless you have an Ethernet plugged in... WHO CONNECTS BY WIRE TO THE INTERNET IN THE AGE OF TABLETS AND SMARTPHONE?! Ugh! 😡 #penalised
-
Edwin Walker (@edwinokli) reported from Bristol, England
@virginmedia I have an issue with Bluetooth headphones interfering with WiFi signal. Two pairs of headphones, same result. Is there anything I can do to the router to stop this from happening? It's better when I switch off the 2.4GHz band.
-
Jon K (@jonki1980) reported from Bristol, England
@virginmedia Broadband is down in Bristol BS16. Stopped about 30 minutes - tried rebooting twice on and off included are you aware of any issues? Service Status says no issues - no message on calling 150 #virginmediadown

Phil Williams (@ChristianSurfer) reported from Nailsea, England
@richardbranson are you anything to do with @virginmedia ? If so please can you get someone to finally do something they promise. 15 hours on phone, promised credits, nothing arrives, overcharge £50 p/month & promised of a call back & nothing 22 years a customer, 6 weeks waiting
-
leighton daintree (@daintree75) reported from Bristol, England
@virginmedia I have had to email your DPO department again today for an update as it will be 3 weeks tomorrow since last reply. This has been rumbling on for a month. Your customer service is shocking. Who do I need to complain to? @Offcom?
-
Pete Lawrence (@digthisfood) reported from Bristol, England
I cannot believe just how lousy the service is from @virginmedia . Counting down the days to my contract end.
-
Phil Williams (@ChristianSurfer) reported from Nailsea, England
@virginmedia another 5 days waiting for a call back .. and this was after my case had been ‘elevated’ and a promise for all to be sorted on a Friday - more broken promises / what do you suggest now ? Just leave after 22 years ? @MartinSLewis @WhichUK - all details being recorded

stace_the_face 💙💙💙🎓🎓🎓 (@stace_the_face) reported from Bristol, England
@virginmedia saga continues- so their call handler didn’t call me back and now someone’s told me they cancelled my compensation cheque because my account is closed. My account was closed because you couldn’t provide a simple service for 4.5 months and damaged my property.
-
Adam Nieman 💙 (@adamnieman) reported from Bristol, England
@jonWturney @virginmedia If only they DID invest in their network. They bought Telewest in a fire-sale many years ago and have spent barely a penny on it. My guess is that they are able to ‘upgrade’ your speed because all of your neighbours have switched to BT, who actually have invested.
-
VickyL (@VickyLorych) reported from Bristol, England
@virginmedia so disappointed 😞 I was quoted £70 pm all in today now my bill has arrived and it’s £100 and next month you wanted to charge me £277 😳 now sat waiting to cancel the services ! 😡
-
Lee Stone (@leesto) reported from Bathford, England
I see @virginmedia are up to their usual tricks of hiding their service issues. Public status checker with postcode: It's all fine 🤔 Login with checker: There's a known fault in your area.

Court✨ (@courttttxxo) reported from Avonmouth, England
Honestly @virginmedia has to be the biggest load of **** ever. We never have WiFi, even the TV that’s hooked up to the Ethernet cable isn’t working. At least once a day the WiFi drops. We live in Bristol, not the ******* outback

pete jones (@brizzleboy) reported from Bristol, England

Adam Thompson (@madathomo) reported
@virginmedia Hi John. Yea apparently so and they've come multiple times, even chalking the route. They haven't rearranged so I've now agreed a contract with Sky and cancelled the virgin install. Shame to do so as I've been a virgin media customer for 6years
-
David Napier (@davidnapes83) reported
Anyone actually in the office at @virginmedia or is this thier tactic to see if you'll hang up first if you've been left on hold long enough? 1 hour and 15mins but we will call it 1 hour 12mins since your sales team spoke to me for about 3mins
-
danny (@danny41089196) reported
@virginmedia I know you do,we have gone to leave every year for the past 3 years and been contacted by the retention team. He offered the ultimate oomph deal for £79 he then asked for her date of birth. So we asked for his name and he started stumbling his words and put the phone down.
-
Craft Imagination (@CraftClaire81) reported
@pedalsingh @virginmedia They're the worst. We moved from them after years of issues. Never got the speeds we were paying for, had huge periods of no Internet. On demand service from the TV worked about half of the time and their customer service was awful.
-
Martin (@Martin77384977) reported
@MarkMerryweath1 @virginmedia Don’t expect them to give any indication when they can make visits for non essential work. There is clear framework for removing restrictions from the government but VM can’t seem to work out when they can help their existing customers.
-
Aimee Davis (@MissAimeedav) reported
@virginmedia Nope. I’ve cancelled it all now anyway. The service is too bad already. I phoned a competitor that answered the phone in 2 mins and told me all relevant info I needed when I needed it. 🤯 Fancy that
-
Working Class Socialist (@logical4ever) reported
@virginmedia No thanks you contact me, I’m not waiting on the phone for a hour then talking to one of your robots from overseas. I just spent over a hour using your text help service and never got anywhere.
