@virginmedia hello. I phoned virgin media yesterday as our broadband speed is too slow , especially to accommodate home working . The vague response I received was that there is a problem in our area and I couldn’t be given a time frame as to when it would be fixed

Still waiting for Virgin Media to contact me about moving over to them... I know they said it can take up to 10 days but YOU'D THINK they'd do all they could for a new customer who's street has, apparently, been cabled into their network 🤔

@Flock_ED After years of terrible service from BT we switched to virgin media (like almost everyone in our street) and have had about 200mbps every day for three years. It not the cheapest but it’s very fast.

@VirginMediaIE Broadband just packed up on me - 15 minutes before I need to give a work presentation. Virgin state that there are no outages in my area but there's a #VirginMedia van across the road. Absolutely pathetic. Paying for top tier service, getting nowhere. #WFH

@virginmedia Whether the device is wired or not the internet simply stops working. The green lights on the modem flight rather than a solid white light. There have been issues from Virgin media’s side. We’ve had engineers at our nearest junction box fixing it but the same issues persist

I have a Virgin Media Hub (modem/router). I don’t want to use it in router mode, because that means a wi-fi access point that’s beyond my firewall. But if I set it to “modem-only” mode, its red light comes on, and DNS stops working. Anyone else experienced the same problem?

Cancelled @virginmedia last week as paying over £70 for internet alone. Cost of living and all that. Same speed with @youfibre £45 a month for 18 months but 6 months free. So technically £30 a month. Virgin ring to offer to me for £28. Why wait till I cancel?

@virginmedia Four. The issue isn't regularly getting 200mps, its the complete inconsistency constantly dipping in and out and the most consistent speeds I am getting are between 0-5 which is unusable. All I am getting here is circular conversations and a complete lack of responsibility.
