@virginmedia This contact was via the phone. He did give a reason, the reason being he didn’t know what the problem was. So told us to sit here and wait with no Wi-Fi and hope it sorts itself out.

@virginmedia I never gave out any personal information as I knew it was a scam cus I'm with Sky. The number was 02045099664 but it was spoofed. Lady had an Indian accent and said technicians in my area had fould a fault which was affecting my computer.

@virginmedia another day, another deadline passes. Day 4 with no TV or Internet. Maybe the engineer is on their way maybe they're not. They may have found the problem or they're still looking, who knows? One thing is for sure; we're still paying for this atrocious 'service'

So after being totally screwed over by @virginmedia we’ve signed with another company. They can’t get us online for 10 days, so any ideas as to how we can temporarily hotspot to get Wi-fi? We tried #BT- they took our money, but the service didn’t work. All ideas cv welcome!
