Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Bath and nearby locations:

  • Yippers Amy (@Yippers) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia Yes it’s still happening this morning. It’s a permanent issue whenever I go on Instagram. A lot of users have brought up this issue already on the internet, but I can’t find the solution. I can’t continue to switch over to my mobile data just to browse that app!

  • GregDawes38 Greg Dawes (@GregDawes38) reported from Patchway, England

@virginmedia Follow our local facebook pages in Bristol people constantly asking if anyone elses virgin media/broardband is down again. Become a running joke locally

  • xcbushy sarah bush (@xcbushy) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia absolutely disgusted with you, wait all afternoon for an engineer which you so say booked, to not turn up, an absolute shambles of a company, customer service is shocking 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

  • Ornsack Dave Brain 🧠 (@Ornsack) reported from Bristol, England

I can deal with Virgin Media being down but it appears O2 is down too so I can’t save the day by flicking to 4G. Having to resort to watching NORMAL TELEVISION like the old days.

  • LouRipley Louise Ripley (@LouRipley) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia 🤣 if only this could be believed. Service is no different than any prior month - stop using the current situation to excuse Virgin’s continuous shortcomings it assumes customers are somewhat mentally incapacitated

  • AyrtekCricket Ayrtek Cricket (@AyrtekCricket) reported from Bristol, England

@Roaster323 @virginmedia FaceTime and WhatsApp are over 4G or WiFi anyway. This is for normal calls/texts when you don’t have any signal. I built my office with insulated floors/roof/walls which means it’s terrible for signal due to foil used on the insulation so at least this will resolve that issue

  • Allypally52 Alison Newnham (@Allypally52) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia suddenly unable to log into virgin on phone, my Mac, husband’s PC so unable to access emails. Won’t recognise password, security question etc or allow me to change. Please help!

  • LouRipley Louise Ripley (@LouRipley) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia How about calling someone by an agreed time to resolve a long term issue. Everyone for @virginmedia please check out CISAS

  • DanielFry23 Daniel Fry (@DanielFry23) reported from Filton, England

@virginmedia your device in the BS32 are of bristol is beyond a joke! You expect us to pay money for a service that dial is faster all those years ago! Sort it out!

  • BlackMayan UNEMPLOYED AUB🇲🇼🇬🇧 (@BlackMayan) reported from Kingswood, England

@notsolittlezee @virginmedia They never respond.. They are exhausting. Me and them are in a toxic relationship I swear. Hard to walk away and yet I keep being abused.

  • AyrtekCricket Ayrtek Cricket (@AyrtekCricket) reported from Bristol, England

@Ciaransworld @Roaster323 @virginmedia Yep that’s what I’ve got in the office as I’ve got a separate WiFi network in here set-up. It’s not the WiFi strength more the lack of phone signal I get in here!

  • LouRipley Louise Ripley (@LouRipley) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia 1. Get your team to honour the price agreed on a call 2. call back a customer @ agreed time rather than not at all. How about that as a starter 4 10

  • sarahcliftonsc Sarah (@sarahcliftonsc) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia Thanks for nothing!! There isn't anything on sky sports so I rang up to remove it and they can't as the price goes up. What a load of shite!!!!!! And cheers for never replying to my tweets

  • robpearson8 Robbb ♛ (@robpearson8) reported from Filton, England

@virginmedia Yeah have the useless app and have spoken to your useless help staff, maybe send an engineer round or refund us seeing were meant to get over 300mbps

  • LouRipley Louise Ripley (@LouRipley) reported from Kingswood, England

Yet again @virginmedia absolutely appalling customer service, by far worse organisation I’ve ever dealt with. They lie, they cheat, they rip from your bank account, no protection at all!!!

  • Yippers Amy (@Yippers) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia I have done all of the above. Issue here is that this it is affecting other VM customers as well, all of us are using your WiFi! Please check your community forum and you will see there are a lot of posts about the same issue. Resolve this ASAP or consider reimbursement.

  • karleburford Karle Burford (@karleburford) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia Too late for that. My opinion is set. Awful service and a pain.

  • bubbles010689 ibubbles12 (@bubbles010689) reported from Bristol, England

    @rob9900 @virginmedia any help

  • Yippers Amy (@Yippers) reported from Bristol, England

I’ve been on your community page and seen a lot of VM customers have also posted the same issue with no resolution or response from @virginmedia! You need to sort this out - using mobile data instead of WiFi is not what I signed up for.

  • iTechPro2012 Gareth Sibthorpe (@iTechPro2012) reported

@virginmedia Yes it does but it happens again and again, it’s a constant cycle. I had this issue fixed for a good while and then randomly out of nowhere it’s come back again.

  • OldSparky6 OldSparky ©️ (@OldSparky6) reported

@virginmedia There is nothing on the forum. I shouldn't have to go looking for someone on a forum to resolve the issue. Mohammed says it isn't resolved. In other words Virgin are just telling me to go away, or somewhere else.

  • deborahhunter24 deborah hunter (@deborahhunter24) reported

@virginmedia The call centre have no idea what is going on in England, on site. They have a script and booking an engineer is part of that. It wasn’t temp reported as fixed because the app was made in the afternoon & confirmed after 9pm It’s just really bad customer service. No communication

  • Loafite Tony Phillips (@Loafite) reported from Basingstoke, England

@SkyHelpTeam hope all is well, @virginmedia have just increased my bill again for broadband (£32 increase per month in the last 10 months, disgraceful) are there any deals for a Sky customer for broadband?

  • Huscarl94 Jordan Gilroy (@Huscarl94) reported

@virginmedia It simply doesn't work - I've now tried this on multiple browsers and devices.

  • Sal_P_72 Salvatore Pugliese. (@Sal_P_72) reported

@virginmedia Says no problem detected in my area

  • deborahhunter24 deborah hunter (@deborahhunter24) reported

@virginmedia What was needed on Monday when I called to complain that I had no internet, that the call centre could identify a problem (not tell me they’d checked & it was fine) that it was being worked on and was expected to be fixed by the next day. Simple. But instead a load of lies

  • ems_tc02Phantom 幻影🅉 (@ems_tc02Phantom) reported

@virginmedia yeah. I made an order to terminate the service on January 13th and was told I can get the package before the 15th of this month. I called this Monday to ask again about the packaging, nothing. I make a call today and then something, at least that's what I'm told, was done.

  • Green_Yogi emma woodcock (@Green_Yogi) reported

@virginmedia Please can you provide details where I can log again that I have raised this issue to avoid further fines.
