  • neilcairns
Neil Cairns (@neilcairns) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia where can I email to complain? My VirginMedia Box won’t let me delete a number of things and my Internet is patchy at best! £83 a month for this ****? Every time you call you people you’re on hold or cut off!

@virginmedia my mum's landline is down and she's found your customer service that she's tried to call on mobile completely unhelpful. She needs an engineer to go to her house to fix it.

  • AdzCrawford2003
Adam Crawford (@AdzCrawford2003) reported from Bathford, England

@virginmedia Can you please tell me why the call quality on virgin mobile is absolutely atrocious? Some serious improvements need to be done as it’s bad with every number and even on VoLTE.

  • DanielFry23
Daniel Fry (@DanielFry23) reported from Filton, England

@bt_uk No need to Matt, appreciate your concerns I’m just saying your service currently is the same level as virgin media who I’m with which always cuts in and hot. Too many users using the overcrowded boxes

  • williamjbrown
william brown (@williamjbrown) reported from Bristol, England

@BorisJohnson I can only get virginmedia (at an extortionate price) as it’s the only one who supply more than slow basic speeds - and this is the centre of bristol. Nothings improved for most of us - not only for this but everything else since you’ve wrecked our economy

  • ShanahanMary
Mary Shanahan (@ShanahanMary) reported from Bristol, England

Not happy with @virginmedia paying £70 a month for tv/(which is awful) internet and landline - want to delete tv still (£61) - internet drops out all the time exit fees would be £240 anyone else find them extortionate for poor service?

  • AndyMWilcox
Andy Wilcox (@AndyMWilcox) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia My broadband keeps disconnecting. This is my 4th time contacting and it gets worse each time you apparently fix something. Please can you fix it. I cannot work at home and I’ve just been booted out of your online chat to resolve the problem!

  • RajnishRazdan
Rajnish Razdan (@RajnishRazdan) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia it’s amazing isn’t it - you never pick up calls or cut me off so I go to your site to change my package as you’re charging me for things I don’t have and amazingly your live chat button doesn’t work either.

  • bethkorf
Beth Ryan (@bethkorf) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia Its done now but fairly sure it shouldn't take your agents 45 mins to cancel sky and bt sports and change the TV package to the basic. Maybe more training or better systems are needed. Just saying Sky took about 3 minutes to cancel BT sports for me a year or so ago #competitors

  • kadenbatt
KB (@kadenbatt) reported from Warmley, England

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Nasher6328
    Mr Nash (@Nasher6328) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Under UK law (primarily the Consumer Rights Act 2015), broadband services must be provided with reasonable care and skill and be of satisfactory quality. A complete outage lasting 7 weeks is almost certainly a breach, giving you the right to end the contract and seek a remedy (like cancellation without penalty or a refund for the affected period). Virgin Media participates in Ofcom's automatic compensation scheme for total loss of service (no internet at all via wired connection). You should already be getting ~£10.34 per day automatically after the first 2 full working days of reporting the fault. This doesn't directly let you cancel penalty-free, but it supports your case.

  • barbzinsa
    Belle BTE (@barbzinsa) reported

@virginmedia Broadband is down in Richmond Hill TW10, do you know how long it will take to fix the signal?

  • KG_ExTiNcTiOn

  • gozzand
    AJG (@gozzand) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia surely as theyre not actually providing you the service contracted you should be able to cancel without penalty?

  • textmaniac78
    Adam Weston (@textmaniac78) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia I got told once and I don't know if it works but if you ring up and upgrade to another package it's classed as a new contract so you can cancel within 14 days maybe worth looking into doing that
