@virginmedia no Internet in BS16 1DY. I called 150. Your recorded message says service out until 3pm, as you're "working to improve services" in this area. Why didn't you tell us before?!

  • BRFCSamuel
Sam 🏴‍☠️ (@BRFCSamuel) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia This contact was via the phone. He did give a reason, the reason being he didn’t know what the problem was. So told us to sit here and wait with no Wi-Fi and hope it sorts itself out.

  • morefluids
Sethina A Watson (@morefluids) reported from Bristol, England

It is rubbish right now. Dropped my WiFi and couldn’t use mobile network. Service has been terrible past 3 weeks. Really bad @virginmedia #virginmedia Seems like it’s not just me

  • martinparfrey
Martin Parfrey (@martinparfrey) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia, your customer support is shocking. Any chance I could speak to a human being not a BOT? Even when I tried to complain, you cut me off!

  • AngelMel2017
AngelMelSelector (@AngelMel2017) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia I'm disappointed with the service I have received. Finally ended my contract, claimed my credit refund only for it still not arrive 6weeks later. Called call centre & was told I'd have to wait 2/3 more weeks. Why? Its unacceptable to have to wait so long. #complaint

  • kadenbatt
KB (@kadenbatt) reported from Warmley, England

  • bethkorf
Beth Ryan (@bethkorf) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia Its done now but fairly sure it shouldn't take your agents 45 mins to cancel sky and bt sports and change the TV package to the basic. Maybe more training or better systems are needed. Just saying Sky took about 3 minutes to cancel BT sports for me a year or so ago #competitors

  • pistolpete303
The Pistol from Bristol (@pistolpete303) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia trying to call 789 this morning. Either does not connect or getting an engaged tone. Also website not working correctly. Is there a problem as need to speak with you ASAP?

  • chrisandobe
Chris (@chrisandobe) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia I been with virgin for years and last month was put on the new virgin O2 SIM deal. I'm already looking forward to when I can cancel the O2 SIM only part. Couldn't get any help with O2 but luckily the person at virgin helped me.

  • neilcairns
Neil Cairns (@neilcairns) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia @EGX virginmedia where can I email to complain? My VirginMedia Box won’t let me delete a number of things and my Internet is patchy at best! £83 a month for this ****? Every time you call you people you’re on hold or cut off!

  • RajnishRazdan
Rajnish Razdan (@RajnishRazdan) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia If you’ve got something positive to contribute DM me, like getting someone to call me. Why would I remember the details of 2 hours that I will never get back

  • AdzCrawford2003
Adam Crawford (@AdzCrawford2003) reported from Bathford, England

  • TobyOsborne1
Toby Osborne (@TobyOsborne1) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia I spoke to a rude adviser who said they’d escalate it. However my pac code has already been swapped out and there was no urgency. I am now waiting in the hope that someone else doesn’t get control of my phone

  • neilcairns
Neil Cairns (@neilcairns) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia Yes. Powered down, switched off etc etc. Why would only certain content not delete and other content delete fine? Doesn’t make sense?

  • MButlerHart
Matthew Butler-Hart (@MButlerHart) reported from Frome, England

@virginmedia Spoke to someone - useless! Just going to cancel and go with BT! Thanks anyway

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • PourMeAGin
    Robb Pickard (@PourMeAGin) reported

@skytv never met a system so unfit for purpose. The latency on Sky Glass causing freezing is awful. To be told no solution is BS. Cannot wait for contract to be over so can leave. Maybe @virginmedia will make a decent offer to rejoin.

  • IanSMcNee
    Ian McNee (@IanSMcNee) reported

@premnsikka Something of a tangent Prem but there are good domestic service providers that are not owned by US multinationals. I ditched the appalling @VirginMedia years ago over their terrible customer service & moved to Andrews & Arnold - @AAISP. A little more expensive but great service.

  • craywanderers
Come On You Wands (@craywanderers) reported

@MoMohler We've got a mirror above our fireplace. Terrible reception on it for FreeSat and Virgin Media.

  • bushmills7d
    Paul Williams (@bushmills7d) reported

@virginmedia great service again. Second time today we’ve had no service , that’s the third time this week. If We hadn’t renewed our subscription with you we would cancel

  • kestrel89B
    Liam (@kestrel89B) reported

@itvnews To be honest it is so difficult to speak to a human at @virginmedia I'm not surprised anyone could cancel their contracts. #virginmedia

  • Prettyflyguy77
    Prettyflyguy (@Prettyflyguy77) reported

@KaiGWatson Have a look at Cityfibre providers if your area has it. You'll get Virgin media speeds but with a much better reliable service.

  • iamstephewer
    miss ewer (@iamstephewer) reported

@virginmedia what is going on? Every time you tell me the problem is fixed, an hour later I’m disconnected from my WiFi again! I have never had so many issues with a broadband before! I am using almost all of my mobile data these past few days!

  • Prodgey
    Lyn Prodger (she/her) (@Prodgey) reported

@virginmedia I’ve just sent you yet another DM. Same one I’ve sent countless times with no resolution or response.

  • CursedRaindrop
    CursedRaindrop (@CursedRaindrop) reported

@Ofcom Virgin media are the worst company I have ever had to deal with. It was a nightmare to have broadband with them, constantly unable to go online and never any compensation. When I finally managed to cancel they sent a £250 bill for leaving. Never again

  • Stephencheatley
Stephen Cheatley Photo 📸 (@Stephencheatley) reported

@AnglezarkeNet @DHLGlobal A post here is worth a try. I managed to get Virgin Media of their arses and fix the problem I had. It was useless trying to call them.
