  • craigcapes
Craig Capel (@craigcapes) reported from Bristol, England

The £ gleaned by both @virginmedia and @SkySports in making it difficult for fee/ subscription paying members to watch “each others” content must clearly outweigh the customer service calls and complaints 🤬

  • AngelMel2017
AngelMelSelector (@AngelMel2017) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia Thank you for your reply. He told me that the cheque had not been activated when I first called 5th June. I was told it would be sent out via check. He told me today it would take a further 2/3 weeks. Sadly was no help at all. 😒😥

  • xChuChux911
Hi, call me Chu x (@xChuChux911) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia I never gave out any personal information as I knew it was a scam cus I'm with Sky. The number was 02045099664 but it was spoofed. Lady had an Indian accent and said technicians in my area had fould a fault which was affecting my computer.

  • RosemaryJaneFo1
Rosemary Jane Fox (@RosemaryJaneFo1) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia #rude #badservice Had Virgin broadband installed just to discover a better deal on money supermarket. Contacted them to ask if they would honour it and was refused point blank, told not to complain, wouldn’t put me through to the boss and wouldn’t give her name.

  • Tofrek
Jon Wort 🇺🇦 (@Tofrek) reported from Chippenham, England

@virginmedia @wiltscouncil Not withstanding the ethics if Virgin was to advise me of customers on my road they could add a breach of GDPR to their continuing customer service. I asked James to escalate to higher management as a phone call is not enough. #CustomerService #virginmedia #BadVirginMedia

  • lazy__goth
Tiffany (@lazy__goth) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia No, it doesn’t, and the internet goes down again within hours, usually in the evening when I presume there’s high usage. We’re in a loop - report issue, told issue is resolved, issue happens again.

  • Tofrek
Jon Wort 🇺🇦 (@Tofrek) reported from Chippenham, England

@virginmedia @wiltscouncil The gift that keeps on giving. I had a call from James, who advised that because I was not a Virgin customer they could not compensate me and could do nothing with my complaint. However, if I found a neighbour and got them to complain I could get compensation through them!

  • KieranTrvlr
Kieran Traveller 🛫 🏰🚢 (@KieranTrvlr) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia I have, and I get an automated service that hangs up on me after sending a text. I just want to order wifipods. I’ve tested the speed in the app, but it’s not allowing me to do anything. Chat doesn’t work, and calling won’t let me speak to anyone.

  • TobyOsborne1
Toby Osborne (@TobyOsborne1) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia My account has been compromised so I can’t sign in to join?

  • AdzCrawford2003

@virginmedia Can you please tell me why the call quality on virgin mobile is absolutely atrocious? Some serious improvements need to be done as it’s bad with every number and even on VoLTE.

  • neilcairns

@virginmedia Tried to send you a WhatsApp message but got the following message back: "Thanks for choosing to Message us today. We don’t have availability to accept any more messages for faults at the current time." Why is getting help so difficult?

  • bethkorf
Beth Ryan (@bethkorf) reported from Kingswood, England

@virginmedia Its done now but fairly sure it shouldn't take your agents 45 mins to cancel sky and bt sports and change the TV package to the basic. Maybe more training or better systems are needed. Just saying Sky took about 3 minutes to cancel BT sports for me a year or so ago #competitors

  • TobyOsborne1
Toby Osborne (@TobyOsborne1) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia As early as possible before whoever does this manages to help themselves to my money like last time

  • markscott
Mark Scott (@markscott) reported from Melksham, England

@virginmedia I am glad I silence unknown callers, your sales team do not get the message. I am@happy with my current service and I will not get your TV or mobile services nor your land line services

  • martinparfrey

@virginmedia, your customer support is shocking. Any chance I could speak to a human being not a BOT? Even when I tried to complain, you cut me off!

  • caz_fizz
    Caz (@caz_fizz) reported

@MelJanie @virginmedia Virgin made all customer care off shore and made us all redundant, just so they can save money...but in the process are losing their customers.

  • flabcab
    amc (@flabcab) reported

@CheekyVic @virginmedia Can't think of a good one tbh. All customer service. For virtually everything. Is piss poor.

  • xhatne
    mmhmm (@xhatne) reported

@Johnty14 @virginmedia Easy solution here, someone should invent a method to get the leaflet through the door, so it ends up in the house, but passers by can't see it so it isn't obvious that nobody is home.

  • maxinewilson121
    maxine wilson 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 (@maxinewilson121) reported

I have changed Internet yesterday as I was out of contract with virgin media and they wanted 95 a month, I have switched to @youfibre and I am thrilled to bits with it and now even get signal in my garden.

  • seanaustin1985
    Sean Austin 316 (@seanaustin1985) reported

@Johnty14 @virginmedia I worked for VM as a tech and I wasnt one of them but it was common practice by some rltwchs to feather knock so they could put the job off and blame the customer for not being in..

  • PeteinExeter
    Peter Miller (@PeteinExeter) reported

@virginmedia 2nd outage in a week in Ztge EX1 area. You are definitely the worse company in the world. Cannot wait till I can cancel my direct debit and new use you again

  • kellyokid
    Steve Kelly (@kellyokid) reported

@MelJanie @virginmedia I was with Virgin for years but got treated like a piece of crap on their shoe with multiple issues so I’ve left! Customer service is non existent! They just don’t care!

  • HARRItheAI
    H.A.R.R.I The AI (@HARRItheAI) reported

Virgin Media have really gone downhill. After changing the account from my Mother to my name, they are charging me 3x what she was paying. And after almost 2 hours trying to talk them down, they wouldn't give me anything lower. So I'm going with YouFibre, they're ridiculously cheap for what they offer. Hopefully they're as reliable and speedy as they're touting.

  • eboders
    Ed Bodey (@eboders) reported

@virginmedia hello! You recently sent me a new router but this now causes issues with some items that need a 2.4 connection. How do I resolve this please?
