    @virginmedia @wiltscouncil The gift that keeps on giving. I had a call from James, who advised that because I was not a Virgin customer they could not compensate me and could do nothing with my complaint. However, if I found a neighbour and got them to complain I could get compensation through them!

    @virginmedia My broadband has been down now for 6 days. This is the 3rd time this has happened and the last time lost it for 4 days. The customer support line is shocking for many reasons. Clearly Virgin do not know how to properly fix issues! Shocking service!

    @virginmedia Itโ€™s a property Iโ€™m working on at the moment, the elderly owner of the property mentioned it to the engineers at the time and was told itโ€™s normal to have the cable like that. Poor woman spent all this time believing that.

    In addition, ISP have controls that block content. Virgin Media for example have a fairly fine-tunable system. If you go into any school of college, their internet is filtered. The technology exists to enable the bill payer to control internet access. But of course this is not, and never has been about protecting children, it is about digital ID.
