Roland Millward (@RolandMillward) reported from Trowbridge, England@virginmedia As you are aware OFCOM believe this practice is illegal. The fact people can’t move onto a new development and you’re not putting down cables is not their fault. It’s an inappropriate way to treat customers fairly.
-
Lyn Taylor (@lyntaylor55) reported from Southwick, England@virginmedia help! Have phone 150 (automated!). No local problem. Have done everything the automated response told us to do. Including the automated text message. Still no Internet through hub. No WiFi! We have TV. Now what? A human might be able to help!
-
Jon Hackett (@JonHackett) reported from Steeple Ashton, England@virginmedia .... continue.... So you are not fulfilling your obligation! -
Gill 🇬🇧 🏴 🩵 (@GillGRobs) reported@Benleo @virginmedia Really? They just sent me a new 360 box as they said mine wasn't recording properly yet I had no problems with it, they have ripped me off since I changed the account into my name from my late partners, no difference just a name change ive now been forced into a new contract.
-
michael jackson (@cane2147) reported@virginmedia will you sort your internet out 5 times I’ve been disconnected in the last hour £164 a month for this repeated internet and tv issue is unacceptable
-

-
Michael De La Broc (@MDeLaBroc1) reported@Benleo @virginmedia Last MARCH I went in store to enquire about a new, better priced broadband contract or to disconnect. I was going abroad for at the time, but wanted something better when I got back, I was sold on a new contract. Apparently my previous account should have been closed there and then. In September my service is cut off with no explanation, I do most of my work online so this is obviously bad, I got in contact, turns out my direct debit was still going to the supposedly cancelled account, not the current one, for the next three months I have a never ending series of chats on the phone or online chatbot to try and figure out what is going on. I can't log into virgin media online, because the credentials I used, take me to a placeholder screen, because the account is deleted or something, I don't know, no one can tell me. I go abroad in December, come back in January, same problem, the internet is disconnected for ''non payment'', all payments, are still, going to a an account that was supposed to be deleted or merged into my current one a year ago. every other month I am having to redo the same chat on their chatbot, followed by a customer complaints phonecall with some arrogant Indian who barely speaks English and doesn't understand what I am trying to tell him. And every month this goes on for, they are charging me a £7 late fee and even letter saying the price for the contract I am barely receiving service from is going up due to inflation. Truly is an absolute travesty this company, I am just going to cut the entire thing loose and go to StarLink the next time this happens, which I expect will be in two weeks going by the near monthly disconnects I am put through
-
Conor Swifty (@ConorSwifty) reported@virginmedia hello Virgin Media had a dodgy phone call from +442045148789 saying it's Virgin/O2 trying to end contracts early for upgrading & wanted details while the lady spoke poor English & kept saying eh 24/7.
-
guygorilla (@guygorillacity) reported@Benleo @virginmedia Agree - worst company - taking more than fixed price contract stipulated from an old age pensioner.
