Or it's not made simpler for people wanting to leave. This whole experience has been stressful and I'm very reluctant to recommend Vodafone in the future.

For your info with regard to your issue - virgin media have just been fined £28m for preventing people ending their contracts. Perhaps talks to the culture internally that you are describing
