Gotta give it to @VodafoneUK, the only company I know who can tell you there is no problem in your area, when neither mine nor my partners phones have any signal, and my partners broadband are down, and all there advises are either busy, or telling me there’s no issue, nice one

@VodafoneUK But never mind because it doesn’t matter that you can give my number and account information to a total stranger. Not to mention my banking details and also leave me with no network for 2 weeks 😡

@VodafoneUK It’s working. Unfortunately no good upgrade deals. Does the NHS advantage still offer 15% reduction AS well as the 10% loyalty scheme. This would make it competitive against other providers then. (And only then). Thanks again from a loyal customer.

@virginmedia all about the money not about the service. In Kirkby Merseyside we have had a lot of outages since March and you are ignoring my requests for help by email, chat, FB, Twitter and don’t answer the phones. @VodafoneUK uk answered my web chat straight away

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot This simply isn’t good enough. It shouldn’t be remotely difficult to cancel a phone contract from a deceased person, and you should be aware that not every person can communicate as effectively as George. You need to change your approach here.
-
IJN
(@IJN3) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I once overhead Vodaphone employees in a pub in Newbury swapping stories about how they wound up customers and laughing about it. I cancelled my contract every soon after and have never gone back. Saying that my mother who's 92 says they look after her well.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Yes, I’d say it is the corporate strategy, I had a nightmare experience years ago with Vodafone, you think you’ve sorted the problem out with them, and then they ring up again with no recollection of your previous interaction. Kafka-esque financial shakedown. Don’t pay.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had a nightmare with @vodafone in 2019. They contradicted themselves, accused me of fraud and theft etc, anything but do their job. Then I found out they had lied to my elderly mother to make a sale. The entire family is now not with them and never will. I tell everyone I can.
