  • Charlie_Salter Charlie Salter (@Charlie_Salter) reported from Bristol, England

@VodafoneUK (2) ...any game that needs you to host your own server. I purchased the Gigacube and signed up as I was promised it was super fast and great for online gaming. Yet apparently it is not compatible with some games and games consoles. I have spoken to your support...

  • VictoriaBS8 The Victoria (@VictoriaBS8) reported from Bristol, England

@VodafoneUK Awful, AWFUL customer service. What could have been sorted in less than 5 mins of phone conversation just took me almost an hour of multiple web pages and a painfully slow text conversation. Not good enough! Time is precious!

  • _harrybevan Harry Bevan (@_harrybevan) reported from Bristol, England

Customer experience question... If live chat can't help with Q should they a) tell customer or b) take customer through agonising security process thereby wasting 20mins of their life then tell them. You first, @VodafoneUK

  • Charlie_Salter Charlie Salter (@Charlie_Salter) reported from Bristol, England

@VodafoneUK (3) ...team and they were very rude, and said that I should have noticed this within 14 days of purchasing it. So, am I right in thinking there is no way to make my Gigacube work for online gaming (by changing the NAT type) and that this has been mis-sold this?

  • NatalieBrereton Natalie Brereton (@NatalieBrereton) reported from Bristol, England

@O2 with all due respect, your phone service is absolutely ******* horrendous. No 4G in Bristol although I live centrally and my phone constantly tells me I have no internet connection. It’s such bollocks considering how much I pay a month. @VodafoneUK can you help me?

  • Saralimback Sara Venn (@Saralimback) reported from Chepstow, Wales

Right. @VodafoneUK I’ve spent about 4 hours online and on the phone to you over the last 2 days. I’ve been a loyal customer since 1999. And yet you refuse me an upgrade because my ID is a citizenship card, not a passport or driving license? So you no longer want my custom?

  • Charlie_Salter Charlie Salter (@Charlie_Salter) reported from Bristol, England

@VodafoneUK (1) Hello. I am paying a lot for a 5G Gigacube as the broadband in my area is poor and I want fast internet. I have just discovered that the Gigacube has a strict NAT type (D) that cannot be changed. This means I cannot play online games on my Nintendo Switch or...

  • joelwreford Joel Wreford (@joelwreford) reported from Bristol, England

@VodafoneUK Been waiting 20 days for my network unlock code. Your customer services say there is nothing they can do, and no idea how long the back office team will take. I need my handset for work!

@VodafoneUK thank you so much for putting my phone bill up. Its not much but when your trying to juggle your bills at this time. So it's most appreciated so I think this will be our last contract with you after 18 years of being a customer. Should of left years ago. 👍

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Certainly will never chose a vodaphone product after this. Will spread the word to all my family and friends.

  • marksa300 Mark Simpson 🌻 (@marksa300) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK If I have a problem with Vodafone I go to their nearest shop, they can't put you on hold or use pathetic excuses when you're sat opposite them

  • tozol Cranky Gamers UK (@tozol) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It’s the sheer lack of common sense that blows my mind. Any single person that is trying to sort out this account could and should have seen it and fixed it in seconds. Terrible customer service

  • cmaryk93 Christina Mary 💙 (@cmaryk93) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is awful. O2 were amazing and more than supportive when I lost my Dad last year when I was sorting out all his account bits. This is the last thing bereaved families need on top of all the other paperwork and accounts to sort.

  • ralphie1703 Ralph Lightstone (@ralphie1703) reported

@RutilusAstrum @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had the same with Tesco mobile when my wife passed away. They wanted to speak to her to confirm she had passed away. I politely suggested this could be a problem, which could easily be solved by my sending them a copy of the death certificate. Luckily they agreed.

  • zeCosmicOtter La loutre cosmique Ⓐ ☭ (@zeCosmicOtter) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @AmyJ_N4 @VodafoneUK My old housemate had nothing but trouble with them taking money out of her account for a tariff that didn’t even exist. I don’t even know if she got it sorted.

  • JonnyWestbrook Jonny Westbrook (@JonnyWestbrook) reported

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They are ******* awful.

  • Jim42409535 Jim1495 (@Jim42409535) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK If you think vodaphone is bad, try Scottish power.

  • PO2L2 PO2L (@PO2L2) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Sadly they are just a bad in Ireland. Very similar story except it was my own phone and I was locked out after password mixup. Six months later and without service a debt collection agency and still no help available. Never again.

  • JkMoysmith JK Moysmith (@JkMoysmith) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had a similar issue here, mother dementia, was sorted after one call.
