Initially I thought your router was playing up so swapped it. Its now crap again so not the router. Can you quiz openreach and ask if they are working in the area, this is pretty shitty.

I have borrowed a 5m ethernet cable and moved hub nearer to my PC. The PC found my network & connected but it didn't last. Need a wifi booster.
