Tony Johnson (@JohnsSonTony) reported from Alderbury, EnglandGoing old school by asking the Twittersphere for advice. Since switching to @VodafoneUK my Huawei doesn't hold a 4G signal. It was perfectly fine on @EE. I can be on 4G, take a call, the phone switches to 2/3G and never reconnects to 4G (1/3)

A Bee (@Pinotnoirgirl) reported from Redlynch, England@VodafoneUK when I signed up to Vodafone you promised me my bill would be £55.25 per month. You are charging me £65. Please can you add this to my complaint (which I’m still waiting for a response to). I’m still in my 14 day cooling off period and plan to cancel

Tony Johnson (@JohnsSonTony) reported from Alderbury, EnglandThen it rinses the battery by constantly searching for 4G. If I switch it to 2g/3g only in settings it holds that signal. Clearly something going on between my phone and the network but @VodafoneUK just keep giving me the same advice that doesn't work. (2/3).

Simon Ward Photography (@SimonWardPhoto) reported from Amesbury, England@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had the same issue very recently with BT regarding my Dad's mobile account, they kept using excuses for why there was a delay in closing his account after this death. Every other company I had to deal with (and there were many) dealt with the situation much better than BT.

Paul Jones - Performer/Shooter, Web sites🔞 (@pauljonesAIR) reported@VodafoneUK OK, so, a complaint Phone, with bank cards, lost. No problem, get a new one. I went to the vodafone shop, with my passport and my bank statement. They can't help. They can only order a sim for a lost phone if I have my bank cards. The ones in the phone. That will take a week to replace. They told me to phone customer services. CS were surprised the shop could not help, so put me through security. Which I failed. I even have a 4 digit code? Never used it. My last bill? No idea, because it's a text on my phone. Look at my bank statement? Fair plan, but my LOST PHONE is my 2FA device, so before showing me my statement, my bank will send a text to my phone, the one I don't have any more... They said I failed security and the only option would be a security reset. They'd send me an email. You know what the security reset asks for? a PHOTO of my passport and a PHOTO of my bank statement. You know what is LESS SECURE than a person standing in front of you, with their physical passport and bank statement? A photo of those documents attached to a form. It's almost as though you have not paid attention to what AI image generation can do these days. If you ever need to get a DBS check, they require you turn up, in person , and present physical documents. Not photos. SUGGESTION : If a customer comes to a shop with their passport and bank statement, THAT IS SECURE ID and the shop should be able to order a sim replacement.

DiKey (@xcetveli) reported@VodafoneUK team couldn’t even handle a package upgrade. They asked for my consent to deactivate my line to do it. After I questioned the consent they admitted it could take 1–5 days! No written 1-day fix guarantee, failed upgrade, and I missed the campaign. Bravo.

Michael MacAulay (@mistermac97) reported@hollymorgs @CityFibre @VodafoneUK Hi Holly, I'm sorry to hear your father's issues. Sadly this is an all too familiar story. They do not take responsibility. Vodafone should be able to give your father unlimited data under their Stay Connected Promise
-
Jonny Wilson (@jonnypwilson) reportedBeen with @VodafoneUK for 10+ years. Just called up to see if they can offer me a better deal before I switch to a cheaper provider. Chap on the phone essentially shrugged his shoulders and told me "cheerio". Very strange approach to customer retention.

Gareth Paul Fradgley (@gpfradgley) reported@VodafoneUK you are tying to tell my Dad 26Mbps is a normal upload speed on your 900Mbps service. He is getting full download speed but the upload ratio is off and your support team member was not trained correctly. This speed is way off!

MarksMusings (@aroundthehouses) reported@VodafoneUK absolutely disgusted Set up an account for my mother for broadband Phone and Mobile and you’re charging her double what I was quoted for the service. Is this what you do take advantage of elderly people?

Fortune Imports (@MrMBajaj) reported@VodafoneUK broadband installation delayed for over 10 weeks because Vodafone and Openreach cannot coordinate properly. Multiple delays, no ownership, no resolution plan, and endless chasing by me. Formal complaint will be raised to Ofcom/CISAS if unresolved urgently.
