  • lyallatron LyallatronCrossing (@lyallatron) reported from Abergele, Wales

Congratulations @VodafoneUK for the worst customer service I have ever seen. My account is still broken since I joined you in November. You said it would be fixed with the next bill and it isn’t. I joined in November! It’s March and this is still happening. #poorcustomerservice

  • bondangel007 Tia Rogers (@bondangel007) reported from Prestatyn, Wales

@VodafoneUK I find the fact that my daughter’s phone was delayed through no fault of ours and the fact that I cannot cancel and restart the upgrade until your warehouse confirms receipt appalling to say the least! Punishing the customer for your mistakes!

  • sionrwynne Sion Rhys Wynne (@sionrwynne) reported from Denbigh, Wales

Once again slightly let down by @VodafoneUK customer service. Enquired about upgrade - apparently I only need 6gb not 10. Then offered 5gb which isn't enough so I would eventually have to pay to increase my allowance (would no longer be cheaper than my current deal)

  • kayleighnikita Kay Griffiths (@kayleighnikita) reported from Denbigh, Wales

My dad has a Samsung j3 & updated it yesterday. Now it’s really buggy & isn’t working properly, google services keep crashing. How do I fix this @VodafoneUK

  • AJTaxis A&J Taxis (@AJTaxis) reported from Bodelwyddan, Wales

If you are struggling to call us and have an old #vodafone number, you can get us on 01745610392. It appears @VodafoneUK has blocked old Vodafone numbers from calling our main lines since we ported back to @bt_uk. Please fix this problem @VodafoneUK @Ofcom #Solicitors

  • milonoblet Milo (@milonoblet) reported from Hoylake, England

@combat_boot @O2 @VodafoneUK @EE I'd recommend EE, best service/coverage. 20% Forces discount through DDS/BLC (DM me if you have neither & will sort you out).

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • JoKingDevon Jo King 💙💛🇺🇦 (@JoKingDevon) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Well done for raising this issue George. I did all this for my 90yr old Mum but had put the account in my name so it was slightly easier (not much though) and I said to the adviser from the Directors office that it would be terrible for an elderly person to cope with on their own

  • Bigcalf69 Dave (@Bigcalf69) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had no issues with Vodafone when I needed to cancel after my dad passed. In fact they were absolutely fantastic and very sympathetic. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience.

  • Shaun_Baker2012 Shaun Baker (@Shaun_Baker2012) reported

@VodafoneUK @debrakidd My situation isn’t as harrowing as that of the OP clearly, but it shows how much Vodafone care about professionalism and customer service when you are no longer a means of income for them. Used to be decent, now just a disgraced company of fraudsters.

  • Shaun_Baker2012 Shaun Baker (@Shaun_Baker2012) reported

@VodafoneUK @debrakidd You never cared before, why would people think you cared just because you are being called out on social media? Disgraceful company.

  • H0raceWimp Iain Montgomery (@H0raceWimp) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Garbage. Dumped you years ago, when during a months long effort to cancel a contract your own staff were calling each other liars and hanging up while I stood being ignored. This is just Standard Operating Practice and has been for years.

  • Grad42_MF MF (@Grad42_MF) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Exactly. After a nightmare with Virginmedia I am now trying to cancel my mothers mobile phone account with O2. Not used for a least a year. Why we support these Companies and their shoddy service especially to older folk.

  • rachybanp 💙💛 rachel bullock 💙💛 (@rachybanp) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Sadly we had the same with sky when my mum went into hospital with dementia. They said it had to be my mum that cancelled when I phoned and when I said she no longer had the capacity to do this they kept taking money for months. Court of protection solicitor had trouble too 😢

  • Crystal_Logic_ Nick (@Crystal_Logic_) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK You only ever take out a contract with Vodaphone once, and vow never to return.

  • MarkMah11343144 Mark Maher (@MarkMah11343144) reported

@donwendyagain @GeorgeMonbiot If the issue has been resolved, it doesn't go on the tally. It's an absolute kicker I know. But @VodafoneUK can now say "issue resolved" to Ofcom.

  • MDCCCXXXVII 🍩👌 (@MDCCCXXXVII) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I wouldn't use Vodafone if they were the last network on the planet. Been there; couldn't wait for that two years to be up.
