I can tether my laptop to the phone, and it's so good I can upload a half hour video in about ten minutes. Cheap option.

Neil Du Cros (@NeilDuCros) reported@VodafoneUK Cabling fixed. Socket where it was. Openreach guy confirmed the cabling was in a bad state and likely to fail - wires were green with corrosion. Next time a customer asks for cabling to be sorted before it fails remember this.
